Chapter 122

I woke up feeling the sun on my face because my curtains were open, I went and took my shower and put on my clothes, I couldn't get the fact that cassandra's dad got arrested on our graduation day, what is she going through right now, I just can't imagine, I quickly took my phone and called her.

ON THE PHONE:

"Hello Cassandra, how are you doing?" I said.

"I am doing okay Julio, but I am going through a lot right now, sorry I could not call you yesterday." she replied

"No problem I am really sorry for what happened to your dad." I said to her.

"Thanks Julio, I really appreciate, what are your plans for today?" She inquired.

"I was planning on going to see James today and also check for some college applications." I answered.

"Okay I will like to see you, later today, maybe in the evening you can come by my house." She replied.

"Okay Cassandra I will come see you." I replied her

"Cool see you later Julio, bye" she said as she hung up the call.

I went downstairs when I saw my mom sitting on the couch looking very sad, I then approached her

"Mom what is wrong? why do you have this kind of expression on your face?" I asked with a shaky voice.

"Julio I lost my Job, my boss fired me yesterday with several of my colleagues." My mom replied while looking down with a teary eye.

"Sorry mom, we will find another way out, maybe I can get a job and you can also look for another job, let's not loose hope, wipe your tears mom." I assured her

She wipes her tears and looks up at me

"Julio what will I do without you, you know I will do anything to make sure you are living a good life, you know I love you my son." She stated.

"Cheer up mom everything is going to be okay, have you eating?" I replied her, while hugging her

"No Julio I have not eating this morning but I made spaghetti sauce for breakfast, let us go eat."

We went into the kitchen area, she brought out the plates and arranged everything on the kitchen dining table, she put the foods as we begin to eat, as we were done eating breakfast I told my mom I wanted to go see James, she said okay, I went out of the house, I quickly called James.

ON THE PHONE:

"Yo what's up where you at?" I asked James

"I'm on my way to the Arcade you said we should meet at." James replied.

"Okay from there we can go over to your place, we have alot of shit to do." I added

"Okay see you soon bro." James replied.

I hung up the call, and quickly looked for a Taxi, to take me to Papa Jones Arcade to meet james as I got there I saw james waiting for me outside, we both shook hands and we both looked for a Taxi to take us to his house.

As we got to his house we started chatting.
