Chapter25:word game.

Alex and I went outside and he led me to his car and I looked at him looking for an explanation. I knew he was angry and I could see how he tried his best to control his anger otherwise I wonder what would have happened. I remembered what he did at my previous office and I involuntarily shivered. I don't really know why he's mad though because Shawn is just my best friend and he probably know that.

"Alex I have a car."I told him when he looked at me as if I'm supposed to enter his car automatically.

"Can you stop being stubborn and get in."he said sternly looking at me in the eyes.

"I'm not getting in the car."I said stubbornly and the next thing I know  is that his lips were on mine kissing me. He was so rough like he was taking all his anger out on me  but he then kissed me passionately later. He pulled away and we were panting for air.

"Now get in the car baby."he said abit softly and I gave in. I got in and then he got in and started the car. We drove in silence and I took secret glances at him every now and then wondering what he's thinking.

"If you want to say something say it and stop looking at me."he said when he stopped at the red light.

"Why are you mad?"I asked and he chuckled.

"I'm not mad. Do I look mad."he said.

"But you looked like you would kill Shawn. You do know he's just my bestie right?", I asked him looking at him. He hit the road when the lights turned green.

"Why is he calling you babe. I'm the only one who calls you that. No one should call you that except me."he said pouting and I burst out laughing.

"You can't be serious that you're sulking because of that. Shawn has been calling me like that from when we were little. We grew together you see."I explained at least to make him understand and stop holding a grudge against Shawn. 

"I'm not happy about that. No one else is supposed to be calling you babe except me."he said still not getting the point and I wondered if he was even listening.

", Well you will get used to it."I said but he did not say anything else. I was surprised he didn't say anything else. We drove in silence until we reached at my office. I got out and I was so disappointed when Alex didn't say anything and drove away his black Bentley in a lightning speed. My day for sure will be destroyed.

"*********Kimberly's home*******************

"Why did you have to act like an asshole Shawn. You just angered my son in law."Kim's mom scolded Shawn who was leisurely eating his breakfast.

"I just wanted to fuck with him a little. He dared to look at me like that and we have never met. He does not even know me and he's ready to fight with me." Shawn said then chuckled like he made a joke.

"That guy looks so possessive. Maybe he's jealous. You just got in and called his girlfriend babe, what did you expect he would think when you are a man to add to that?" Kim's mom said.

"Well antie, he has to get used to me calling her like that. Kim's my best friend and I can call her however I want and not even her boyfriend or whatever he's to her can do about it."he said with finality. Kim's mom just shook his head at how irrational Shawn is.

"Aren't you going to work today?"she asked concerned.

"No. There's is no much shooting happening today so I'm free."he said.

"Okay then, can you do me a favour and be polite to my son in law when he returns."she said.

"What do you mean when he returns? And he's not your son in law, he just became her boyfriend just some days ago."Shawn said annoyed.

"He's living with Kim. Aren't you supposed to be a little happy for her. You should be supportive knowing that this is a big step she's taking."she said.

"It's not that I'm not happy for her, I'm just worried about her. She has never ever been in a relationship and you see the person she's involved with is s rich bastard who is rumoured to be a wominizer. What if she get hurt by him or worse destroy her." Shawn said in a concerned voice.

"So all that bullshit you did was not all about him looking at you. Did you perhaps know him before today?"she asked.

"No auntie but when you called me yesterday night and told me about him I looked him up and although I didn't find much, I asked my model colleagues if they perhaps know him. I heard all sorts of stories and I was so furious. I had come prepared to bring hell and I'm not done." Shawn said angry.

"Can we give them a chance. If he hurts her then she will get her first heartbreak and she will know it's not always easy, instead of avoiding the situation she should start facing it. She's 23 for god's sake and she needs to learn alot."she said. Shawn didn't say anything else he just nodded and went to watch the TV while Kim's mom cleared the dinning table and went to wash the dirty utensils.

****************Alex's office***********************

Alex got in his company's building and his employees couldn't stop looking at him like they have seen a different person. It's the way he had dressed today and that coldness. They had never seen him dressed like that. Alex ignored the stares of his employees because his mind was so messed up to care. He was so mad that he carried this coldness along the way freezing people. He entered his private elevator and cursed.

"Fuck you Shawn for messing with me."he shouted because he knew no one would hear him. He couldn't believe that he let Shawn mess with his head and almost lost his shit in front of Kimberly and his mom. He went in his office and saw his assistant waiting for him and he started telling him about his schedule.

"Peter can you please just shut up. I need a quiet environment, can you give me that?"Alex coldly told Peter interrupting his narration of his schedule today. Peter swallowed immediately and he just closed his mouth. Alex saw that his office was not locked and immediately knew the people inside. He entered with his cold aura that left Peter frozen on the spot but what shocked Peter the most was what his boss was wearing. He had long been used to his boss's coldness.

"Jeeez dude... what the hell happened to you?"Felix asked immediately he spotted Alex in the office and his voice due to how loud it was made Andrew to look up from the file he was reading and his jaw dropped.

"I don't need your comments fuckers I want a quiet environment please or you get the hell out."Alex growled and Andrew and Felix looked at each other shocked.

"We didn't want to comment we just, well I wanted to say you look more handsome and sexy. Damn what came over you today."Felix said smiling. He wouldn't shut up because he likes seeing Alex annoyed.

"I don't want to become your boyfriend Felix so enough with your sexy bullshit."Alex glared at Felix.

"Gross no. You are not my type. You're too grumpy for me. I wonder what girl would want to be with you."Felix said grinning. Alex didn't say anything because he knew Felix was playing with his words to get information out of him.

"You can't play word game with me dick. I invented that." Alex said proudly.

"But you still lost asshole. So who's this girl?" Felix said smiling.

"How did you win. I have not said anything.?Alex said smiling.

"You would have chose to shut the fuck up. The moment you opened your mouth, you confirmed that I'm playing word game to know about the girl you're not telling us about." Felix said. They talked nonsense while Andrew just watched them smiling. After some time they got down to serious business and they looked at the files they were looking at yesterday before Alex left but Alex didn't tell them about his girl.
