Chapter50:bed felt so cold.

I reached my bedroom and changed into Alex's shirt and a pajama short as usual then went and dropped myself on the bed like a dead log and closed my eyes. Immediately I closed my eyes my phone rung and I quickly looked at who is calling and you can't imagine how happy I was when I saw it's the person I was waiting for but it's a video call. I arranged my hair then swiped to accept his call.

"Heeey."I said as I looked at his face. God, he looked handsome with his wet hair. It seems like he had just come from taking a shower.

"How's my baby doing?"he asked smiling and I glared at him. He really has the audacity to smile while I'm angry. Angry at him for lying to me."you still got your mood swings huuh? Look at that, a moody Kimberly Johnson who apparently has been moody all week. Are you still on your period baby?"he asked laughing and I didn't know if I should cry or laugh. He's supposed to be apologizing to me right now but instead he's teasing me and making fun of me.

"I don't know what is funny dummy. I'm so mad at you."I told him so that he can be aware in case he didn't notice earlier.

"I know."he said and I looked at him waiting for an apology and an explanation but he didn't add anything.

"That's it?"I asked him and I saw him stand up and he had a towel on and no other clothes. What the hell is he doing? He disappeared from the screen and he came after a minute or so fully dressed in his sweat pants and a T-shirt.

"So, where were we baby?" He asked smirking and I didn't talk so he we just stared at each other in the screen. "I love you baby."he suddenly said and I rolled my eyes at him. How much does it take to apologize to me.

"Okay so what do you want?"he asked smiling and I still didn't talk.," You want me to apologize? For what? I just found time now."he shamelessly said smiling. I wish he knew how I want to struggle him right now because he's playing dumb with me.

"I want you to want to apologize. Why did you lie to me? You said when you reach you will call me."I said angrily.

"You really heard me say that? When?"he laughed. Is he playing with me. I'm so mad right now and I don't want talk to him anymore. I hung the call up angrily and I got in the covers. I heard my phone ringing again but I ignored it.

After a few minutes I heard a knock on my door. I got out of the bed to see what Melissa want or she is hellbent on making me mad like her brother. I opened the door and I saw her holding her phone stretching it to me.

"What's up Meli?"I asked and she smiled.

"My idiot brother wants to talk to you. Why aren't you picking his calls? Shit, is he being a dick?"she asked and I smiled nodding my head."oh do you really want to talk to him?"she asked and I said no."great then, let's teach him a lesson then."she hung up the phone and put her phone on silent mode then we laughed. I told her why I'm mad at him and we talked for a while then we said our goodnight and I went back to sleep. Right now the bed felt so cold but I couldn't do anything. I couldn't even sleep I'm so used to sleeping with Alex that I can't even sleep without him.

Alex laid on his bed closing his eyes and pinching the area between his brows. He regretted teasing Kimberly because now she's mad and he's miles away across the world he can't even do anything. He tried to think what he should do to make it better but he couldn't think of anything. 

Then an Idea came up. Kimberly's friends are the ones who are gonna help since his dumb sister is stupid as she looks. How can a sister treat him like that. He couldn't believe his sister just won't help him. He got up from the bed and took his phone to call his assistant.

"Hello sir, what may I do for you this afternoon. I'm probably asleep, I'm trying to adjust to the time."Peter his assistant said.

"Well Peter, you think I care if you are asleep? I've not slept too so get the fuck up. I know we haven't slept the whole night but right now it's afternoon. How do you sleep during the day? I have work for you. Search for my dear Kimberly's friends number right now and send it as soon as possible, you hear me?"Alex said.

"Well sir if you call them right now it will be like disturbing their sleep. Plus, we need to adjust to the time. Here it's afternoon but in New York it's probably at night."Peter said.

"Peter, can you do as I said. I want the numbers now."Alex said and hung up. He sighed and walked to the window of the hotel room enjoying the view outside. China has this big buildings compared to New York and it's so great to watch the view but right now he was stressed and everything was boring. He started pacing back and forth across the room checking his phone every five seconds. After a few minutes he called Peter again.

"Why the hell is it taking you too long Peter. Damnit just hurry up."he said whispering harshly.

"Of course sir. I'm done. Check your email."he said and Alex Hung up immediately and looked at his email. He smiled as he copied Shawn's number. He knew the guy would probably be a dick to him but he doesn't care. So long as he helps and if he doesn't he'll just call the other, her name is Ander or Andy he doesn't really care. As long as her girl is in good terms with him.

He called Shawn who didn't pick up then he called again and the phone was picked up.

"Hello?" Not really Shawn's voice was heard in the line.

"What the fuck are you doing with Shawn's phone this late at night asshole?"Alex asked when he recognised the voice.

"Damnit Alex, aren't you supposed to be in China now?" He asked back.

"Of course I'm in China and it's fucking afternoon can you believe it. Now tell me if this is a mistake. This is Shawn's number right?"Alex asked anxious.

"Are you gay now or what? Yeah this is Shawn's phone so what do you want?"he replied.

"Are you hitting it off with him now. Anyways, I couldn't blame you, the guy is handsome and kinda hot. He just have an attitude. Now be good and give him the phone Felix. I don't have time for this."Alex said.

"Why do you need to talk to him?"Felix asked smiling because he knew Alex must have fucked up with his girlfriend and the only thing he can do is ask for Shawn's help.

"I fucked up man. I need him to talk to his best friend and get her to talk to me. I can't think properly or do anything until she talks to me and I know we are fine. I can't believe this is what we call love man."Alex said.

"Damn, Lex you are in love? I thought Andrew was bluffing. Fuck, how you have changed buddy. This girl has a good influence on you. Treasure her, she's a diamond."Felix said all serious.

"I don't need your lecture asshole. What are you doing with her friend. You know what, I don't want to know just give him the phone."Alex said irritated
