Chapter135: betrayal 2.

Slap!!

The slap rung around the place where Shawn and Andrew were who had their eyes so wide that they could pop out of their sockets. Alex tilted his head to the right due to the effect of the slap and he clenched his teeth from the pain. He then turned to look at his obvious angry wife. It's been long since he received a slap like that from her. 

His heart shrunk when he saw the pain in her eyes and betrayal. What the fuck just happened." Baby....."

"Don't you talk to me Alex. How could you? Why did you keep lying to me. Why ? From the start you were lying to me. I feel so stupid right now. I can't even tell how hurt I am right now. Why did you have to hurt me?"Kimberly asked as more tears run down her cheeks.

"Baby, please listen. Whatever you heard you have to let me explain. Baby please...."

"What are you going to explain? What more secrets are you keeping from me? First the guns and now this? You fucking know I hate my dad and you are forming an alliance with him. I don't even know him... what..."she looked away because she couldn't even continue and then she looked at Shawn in the process of looking away.

Shawn's heart was beating too fast when he received that look from her. He knows how an angry Kimberly is and the slap Alex just received, it all explains how angry she is." Kimberly, I didn't know anything. I just knew about the guns but I swear I don't know anything else."

Kimberly scoffed and then she looked hurt even more." So you were keeping something from me too huh? Why do you all keep lying to me? My God... I feel like strungling you right now. All of you. I need to go. I can't be here."she said and Alex panicked. 

"Baby please..."Alex attempted to hold her hand to stop her from leaving. She's in danger and it's lurking everywhere, if she leaves right now everything they have worked on will be ruined. 

"Leave me alone. I can't be near you at all."she said but Alex didn't let go of her hand and that made Kimberly really mad." I said let go of me..."

Alex bent down and he kissed her to shut her up and maybe calm her down. He's never seen Kimberly so mad and it scared him. This little wife of his usually scares him to death and right now he feels like he can die.

Kimberly pushed him away from the kiss and Alex attempted to kiss her again but another slap hit his cheek." I said you let me go. Why are you not listening to me? I need to be alone." She said so feircely that the man who has not said anything, Andrew shuddered with fear. He's been watching everything unwrap before his eyes and he couldn't bring himself to say something.

He is scared that he will receive a slap like what his friend received. Right now he is so afraid of this little wife of his friend. He saw the woman struggle in Alex's arms and he sighed. How the hell does Alex deal with all this stubbornness. He really likes Kimberly maybe even loves her but because she's his friends woman, he can't afford to make any mistake of showing any romantic side towards her. And seeing her right now, he doubt he can even deal with a quarter of her. He really felt sorry for his friend.

Kimberly struggled until Alex let go of her and then she run away from him. He tried to run after her but she went to the elevator and it closed before he can get in. He cursed because he doesn't know if running after her is the best thing or alerting his bodyguards to be on alert. He tugged his hair really hard with one hand while the other one he looked for his cell phone. Before she reaches down in that damn elevator, he would have informed someone to be on alert.

He cursed again when he found that he doesn't have his cellphone with him right now. He looked around to find Shawn and Andrew looking at him with a helpless look on their faces. He really thank God that all this drama is away from the people who had come to his launching. They were on the floor just below so all this drama is not available for their eyes.

It's not that he would have cared about anything if there were people watching. His wife is more important than anything. His head was not working straight right now and as he felt his empty pockets where there was no cellphone, he sighed in frustration. 

His wife would be down and he would have done absolutely anything. He decided to run down the stairs because this is the only option. He can't care about his image right now. Not when his wife's safety is on the lose.

The men who were looking at everything were still shocked at what everything changed in seconds." What the fuck just happened?"Shawn asked and Andrew looked at him.

"Where is your man?"Andrew asked and by man he means Felix.

Shawn hesitated before he answered." I guess he's on the floor below where the people are."he said and Andrew immideately took his phone out and dialed a number.

"I'm busy asshole, what do you want?"Felix voice rung in the phone and Andrew gripped his phone tightly.

"Manage the guest there. Alex won't be around for a while maybe whole night."Andrew said and before Felix could say anything Andrew hunged up. He then looked at Shawn," we need to help Alex. His wife may be in trouble."he told Shawn who frowned.

"What are you talking about?"Shawn asked and Andrew ignored him and started heading to the stairs. Shawn then followed him though confused by his words.

Alex reached at the ground floor and to the elevator his wife had just used. His hands were bleeding from all the jumping so that he could reach in time. He waited for one more minute but nobody came and the elevator didn't open. He waited again but nothing happened.

He was feeling all the frustration run in his body right now. He started thinking of possibilities of what might have happened to Kimberly and he couldn't explain the feeling he was feeling right now. He felt like he could die. He can't lose her at all. She belongs to him only. He decided to wait for a little while but then Shawn and Andrew come and he looked at them his eyes all red.

"She's not here. Fuck!! She's not here Andrew. What the fuck I'm I going to do. I can't waste even a single minute because the Mafia group has people all over waiting for an opportunity to just fucking take her. I can't lose her." Alex said and Shawn has never been this shocked. The state Alex was in right now was not close to a man who is always organized and composed. He looked like a broken man. 

"Alex, calm down first. You need to think straight so just breath in first. She's going to be okay."Andrew tried to comfort him but he shook his head.

"You don't know it Drew. She's fucking anywhere. Godammit why is she always this stubborn?"Alex cursed and then at that moment, the elevator made a ding sound. Everyone turned their gazes on the door which was opening slowly with held breath.
