Chapter170:call him for me

Alex and I talked and I felt a little better. God, he's the only who can calm me down when I feel like going crazy, he makes me sane. I stayed in bed for a few minutes but then I heard a knock and Melissa came in. She came and sat next to me in the bed and we stayed in silence. That's why I like this lady here. She's not nosy and she respects someone's privacy and wishes. She just gives someone an opportunity to feel something.. like... I don't even know what I'm saying.

"Did Alex send you here?"I asked her to break the long silence. It was a comfortable one but then we can't stay quiet like two idiots all day and we are just next to each other plus, it's not like we are strangers.

"I can't come on my own without Alex sending me?"she asked chuckling and I smiled. What is with these brother and sister making me smile when I don't want to.

"Of course you can, but right now it feels like Alex sent you."I said and she chuckled loudly." I'm I right?"I asked her smiling at her.

"Yeah...he sent me to check on you. He kinda said that you are crying or something but I don't see a crying Kimberly."she said teasing me or making a joke, I don't really know but I laughed anyway.

"Well, I'm better now. I guess it's the pregnancy getting me all this emotional."I said and she looked at me surprised. Didn't she know?

"You are pregnant?"she asked surprised and I smiled.

"You didn't know?"I asked her.

"How the hell would I know? Nobody told me of course. Damn, congratulations."she said and I smiled.

"Thanks."

"I can't believe my good for nothing brother has been taking me like a useless person. Do you know he didn't even tell me about your wedding? I know we had issues but still, it hurts so much when I found about it from my dad. And now he didn't even tell me about the pregnancy? I'm so gonna kill him. He hid the fact I'm just about to become an aunt from me?"she said angrily and I kinda felt guilty.

"I might have resulted to him not saying anything. Don't be mad at him. It's not entirely his fault."I said and she looked at me smiling.

"Damn, I can't believe that you are able to tame my brother like that. Thanks for coming in his life. I think you are the best thing that has ever happened in his life."she said.

"He's the best that has ever happened in mine too. I love him so much and I can't be more happy carrying his kids. These two babies are making him so happy and I'm really happy that he's happy even though sometimes he so much to take but what matters is that he's happy."I said smiling at how Alex talk to his kids.

"You are carrying twins? Wooow!! Dad and grandpa should know this news."she said squilling and I smiled."ooh and I'm really sorry about my mom. I didn't say anything about her because she and Alex are always not in the best terms. I heard about what happened when you visited them in LA after your honeymoon."she said and I frowned when I recalled at how Alex's mom was treating her son 

"Yeah... it's fine. I'm sure she hates me so much for how I spoke to her. I know I was out of line that day but I couldn't just sit and listen to her humiliate Alex. He's my husband damnit and no one is allowed to mess with him more importantly with me around."I told her and she burst out laughing. I smiled too and I can't believe how my mood has improved.

"You are such a badass. I like it."she said in between laughs and I smiled." I know mom was left thinking twice after your 'scolding'. I heard from dad that she was so mad that she even asked for a divorce but she calmed down after some time. She has never found anyone who could challenge her like that. My dad is always so pussy whipped that he doesn't even realize when mom is going astray. That day, he didn't side with her at all and Mom felt like going crazy."Melissa said and I laughed mostly because she called her dad pussy whipped.

We talked with Melissa for a while but I didn't tell her whatever the fuck is happening with my life right now, she doesn't have to be stressed about it. Her brother is more than worried I can't let the sister worry too. We decided to go downstairs for lunch when the butler came to knock to sat lunch is ready. We found mom had already left. I really thanked God that she left because I don't want her getting entangled with all the drama that is happening right now but she could have informed me at least. Who leaves just like that?

"I think I'm going to become a very fat lady because I have nothing else to do around here. All I do is eat, sleep and talk. I am afraid of becoming a lazy bum. I don't like being lazy."I said when we were eating and everyone laughed.

"It would be better if you at least gained some weight. I bet that's Alex's goal by making you do nothing."Stefan said and I glared at him and he laughed.

"Is there something going on between you and Stefan?"Melissa asked Andy all of a sudden, who chocked on her food and immideately Stefan handed her a glass of water. The way he was looking at her said about how worried he was right now.

"No... nothing is going on."Andy said and we all nodded but I did make sure to make a mental note that something is going on. Andy is acting really weird so of course, something is going on.

After we ate, I went upstairs to sleep. I was feeling really sleepy and my sleepy nature plus me being tired because of doing nothing, made me want to faint and sleep for days.

The next time I woke up, I was feeling really out of it. You know, the situation where you have a siesta but then after waking up you feel even more tired before you woke up. I sluggishly walked to the door and opened it to find Sheebalie outside pacing back and forth.

"Sheebalie? What are you doing here?"I asked her rubbing my eyes.

"Oh thank goodness you are awake. Have you spoken to Alex?"she asked and I frowned. Why is she obsessed with finding Alex anyway?

"Yeah..why?"I asked her and she looked away.

"Can you call him for me?"she asked.

"Why would I call him for you? Don't you have your own phone to talk to him?"

"He's not picking my calls at all and if he picked your calls that only means, he doesn't want to talk to me but I have to talk to him because I have something really urgent and important to say to him."she told me and I looked at her for a few seconds the I got in the room and I called Alex but he was not picking my calls too.

"He's not picking my calls too."I told her and she cursed.

"You are really gonna hate me for this. I'm really sorry."she said and I looked at her lost.

"What the hell did you do?"I asked.
