Chapter 59- Bye Maple Town.

Raina's POV.

My time in Maple Town was the best ever, I was blushing thinking about the things and I Bas did, we were finally going back to Pineville, and we were going back to work, it was going to be stressful yet again, and we won't really see each other frequently as we did while staying in Maple Town.

We spent a week in Maple Town, after Bas gave me the best orgasms ever, he made sure we explored every sight seeing place in Maple Town and we played every game there.

There was a celebration there, Maple Town's founder was celebrating twenty years of Maple Town's existence, the day he founded Maple Town.

I went to the flower garden,it was my favourite place there, and the different flowers I saw, I had to snap them all, the different varieties and scent I saw, I was a sucker for things that smelt really nice.

I tried out every dish there, and everything I couldn't or didn't do, I made sure I did, though I couldn't finish everything there and we were finally leaving, Bas had lots of stuff to do and so did I, it was finally time to go back to the place we escaped from for a little time, I smiled when he came out hands akimbo smirking at me.

"You haven't packed yet?" He asked.

"Yeah, I was just lost in thought, but I'll pack soon, like right now." I beamed.

"Okay do, I have to run a lot for our flight back to Pineville, I also have preparations to make.", He said.

"Don't you have any preparation to make?" He asked.

"I do, we're going back today, but I have to resume earlier to avoid any suspicion, so I have to make notes for my presentation, and also design, I was sent materials and descriptions too." I said.

"We're resuming on the same day, and some of my family members will be around, they've all come because of the new place we've built." He said.

"How many?" I asked.

"We're a lot, some are related, some are mainly my vampire brothers and sisters from the council, they are all staying." He said bringing out all his shirts from the wardrobe, he packed them all in the bag.

"Wow, that's a lot." I said.

"Yeah, it is." He smacked his forehead lightly, he left downstairs.

"Okay, lemme pack up before I begin checking out anything work related." I told myself aloud.

I arranged the clothes I brought, and sealed my backpack in minutes, "damn it Raina you're so forgetful." I said to myself smacking my forehead lightly, I didn't bring out the outfit I was wearing home.

I emptied the box again, till I took out the jumpsuit I had in mind, I arranged everything back again.

"Phew." I sighed in relief, "now that part is done, let me go face my work related part." I said to myself aloud, I smiled as I realised I was talking to myself aloud here, I thought I threw away that habit.

I brought out my laptop with a sigh, the work there already make me lazy, but I loved designing or planning, I was just feeling lazy right now, maybe it had to do with the fact that I was having fun for a whole week and I was returning back to my work.

I sighed as I started racking my brain thinking of something presentable and which design to use, I was a little famous in Pineville because of my festival designs and arrangement, so I had to keep up with the fact that everyone knew me as a talented designer, I wasn't going to place any tacky design.

I tapped my phone and removed it from the airplane mode, I put it in, we decided to block anything that'll make us work or think about Pineville but have fun here and we did it successfully, he set his phone to make network in earlier this morning and that's how he made his calls and arrangement for us.

I sighed as I saw the message coming in, it was a lot, I only opened my business departmental group to see my assigned work, I didn't open my personal phone, I saw notifications on my Instagram and I frowned, I don't have anything going on there it was surprising to see any notification.

I gasped as I saw the number of my followers, I shook my head as I realised I was verified too on Instagram making me a celebrity or influencer, I still stared at my followers in daze, I went from 2,000 followers to 1 Million just in a week.

I didn't even think my design could attract such a vast number of followers or popularity for me.

I checked my pictures immediately, if I could see any bad one to delete, I smiled as I realised I only had 4 pictures and staring at each post, the likes for it had increased so much, the comments too, the saves and repost.

I paused as I saw twitter notification, this was surprising,my twitter follower was also 1 Million, I was in shock, popularity on Twitter was vast and even a lot more important that on Instagram, it surprised me to see my twitter page have that much followers, I heard a voice faintly but I was still staring at my phone in shock, trying to grasp how I became this popular overnight.

"Hello to earth Raina." I turned sharply as I saw Bas clamping his mouth trying to hide his laughter.

"You might as well just let it out." I told him sternly, and he chuckled.

"Well, seeing you in daze was really surprising, you looked like you were a statue, " he laughed and I shook my head, "a beautiful one at that.", He added and I blushed, gosh, he really knew how to get me everytime, throwing compliments when I least expected.

"Yeah, nice try." I kept a straight face, he smirked.

"Oh, I know you liked it, you blushed, you light up when you blush you know that." He brought his face closer to me and I blushed harder.

"Now what got you staring at your phone in daze?" He asked and I handed him my phone showing him my followers both on twitter and Instagram.

"Oh this, it was bound to happen, you were popular during the festival, everyone loved your interior and exterior, and even your flier designs," he shrugged, "and compared to the number of followers popular people in Pineville get, you're just a beginner, so don't shake yourself too much." He said patting my back softly.

"Easy for you to say, you're used to the fame life, I mean you're the one with the highest follower in Pineville, everyone in your family is equally famous." I said.

He has up to 400 Million followers, and the rest of his family members had lots of followers too.

"I just got this much attention, and it's scary." I sighed, he looked at me with a small smile.

"You deserve more than the followers you saw, you're talented and you deserve everything and more." He told me and I smiled.

"You really know how to give compliments, I'll give you that." I said with a smile.

"But I mean them though, I'm not just giving it, I mean it." He stared at me.

"And the only bad thing that comes with it, you need to prepare, you're a beginner celeb now, it comes with responsibilities, you need to appease your fans, post lots of pictures at least a week, and also contents, I'm sure Lyn can help with that." He said and I sighed again.

"Now don't fret, it's fine, you'll get the hang of this, you're stronger than you give yourself credit for." He said and I smiled.

"Now let's get going, I'll drive to the car spot, well park it then and have it shipped to Pineville, then we'll take the plane home." He said.

"I want a place I can rush to my house first, I need something to think of my designs." I told him.

"Yeah, well depart from the airport differently, Bruno will find someone to drop you off." He said.

I stood up and took my luggage and we left the penthouse, the journey down the elevator was funny, he teased me all the way there, I couldn't stop laughing, I was grateful that he tried to find a way to make me laugh and forget about whatever I was thinking till we went to the reception.

"This is my keys, I need to sign please." He told the security man who smiled when he saw us.

"Hi, Miss." He said.

"I know we're not supposed to leak information about who visits and I'm shocked now seeing it was you, but I'm very honoured to meet the one who made the best festival designs in Pineville." He said scratching his head, I looked at him in shock.

"And you're very beautiful, more than the pictures I saw, much more prettier in person." He added.

"See , I'm glad you see that, I tell her that everytime and she thinks I'm teasing." Bas said and I glared at him, he shrugged.

"Thank You so much." I told the man and he smiled.

"Let's go." I told Bas, "and it was nice meeting you, thanks for the word of encouragement." I added to the security man and he blushed scarlet, I chuckled.

I stared down at his uniform and saw his name, "Bye Mr Presley." I waved.
