LAURA BROWN! The only daughter of the prime minister.
Oh, she guessed today was girlfriend day or something, because what was it with Raymond and been requested for by women he had a history with. She wouldn't be surprised to see Cassie show up after miss Laura's shift because why was she here too.
Blazzer was now turning to a visiting house for his ex-wife, ex girlfriend, and prospective girlfriends.
"Hello, you are welcome to Blazzers."
"Oh, Thank you," she said with a smile.
Amanda had met so many people by working as an assistant for a prominent man like Raymond O'Connell Blazzer, but she didn't think she would ever be meeting Laura, the only daughter, and only child of the Prime Minister of Canada.
Not that she was more powerful than the men she had met, but she was always well guided, and barely seen. She guessed that Raymond could bring anyone to do anything.
Speaking of well guided, she stepped inside with two men, they were her guard and Amanda figured they were a part of Canada's secret intelligence. They were well suited up, they wore those wires that connected from the ear to the mouth that enabled phone calls and communication with their fellow secret intelligence officer.
They were both white men who looked mean and didn't look like they had ever heard the word social communication. They didn't say a word, they didn't look like they speak in Normal terms, probably only in words that sounded like 'over, copy that, in position, order' and so many other military terms.
She took her attention from the intimidating men back to Laura whose white pale skin and very blond hair just conflicted with each.
Laura had a shoulder length blonde hair which was parted by the side. She wore a white gown which was flayed and slightly above the knee, from where Amanda was seated, she couldn't see her legs, so she lacked the knowledge of what she got going on there.
What was it he wanted with him? She created another phase of media drama for him and this morning she wanted to continue from where she stopped?
Why couldn't the feminine gender ever leave him alone? she remembered this was the reason they were the way they are at the moment because she couldn't count how many women that wanted to have a share of him and that just gave her too much tension.
"I will let him know you are here," she said, figuring it would show her displeasure with her presence if she asked whether Ray was expecting her.
Amanda picked up intercom telecom, dialed Ray's office and he answered after a few rings.
"Hello..." He said.
"Hi, umm...
Miss Laura is here to see you," she tried to sound as normal as possible because she sure wasn't feeling normal informing Raymond that a lady she had seen him kiss was here to see him."
"Let her in,"
She responded with "okay," before dropping the call.
She stood from her chair, finally having a look at what Laura had on her feet. A simple knitted sandal. She was a simple lady, refreshing to actually see one simple lady associated with Raymond, though she hated their association regardless.
"Come with me," she said as Laura and her guard proceeded with taking a step after her.
"I'm afraid it has to be just Miss Laura," she informed them.
Even though these men scared her and looked intimidating, she still knew she had to do her job. She couldn't let two hefty men into Ray's office, not that they were going to do anything but it wasn't just right, they weren't the ones there to see him.
The men didn't look like they planned to heed to the instructions but Laura had stepped in.
"I will be good guys, besides, I need privacy,"
Not what she would have preferred to hear, maybe she should have let her go in with these men, because privacy for what exactly?"
Amanda with regret watched the men back out and just stood by the entrance to her office.
She led Laura into Ray's office. Ray was in his chair focused on something, but moved his attention to them as soon as they entered.
She watched Ray glance at Laura before his gaze now moved to her.
He stared at her for more than a second and she couldn't tell exactly what his gaze was for, she looked away, trying to avoid awkwardness or his charm, besides, another woman was here for him.
She left them before shutting the door behind her even though she wished she could leave them wide open.
She now realized that these men were planning to stand like a mannequin in her space while waiting for their madam.
"Umm, could you guys please step out while you wait for Miss Laura?"
I'm a little uncomfortable sitting there with you guys standing right there," she said letting out an awkward giggle, but they didn't respond to her.
Amanda didn't know how long Laura was going to be in there and she didn't want these heavily armed men in the same space with her for that long. It didn't actually matter how long Laura was going to spend in there, she just didn't want to share her space with these men and she hoped that was understandable.
"Sir, I would love you both to please give me a little privacy while I work," she said, and yet no answer.
She was beginning to look a fool, but that was not why she would make sure to see them out of her office. She needed time alone, especially now that Ray was inside there with another woman. she needed her time to be sad in peace and not be stuffed with the presence of two huge men.
"She called Tyler who she knew would understand,"
It rang a few times before he picked.
"Yes Amanda, what is it?"
"I got two hefty men here, they wouldn't step out of my space."
"What do you mean? How?" He inquired.
"There are these two men here with Miss Laura," she said peeking at them, but they maintained their stance and did not even pay any attention towards her.
"Oh, miss Laura..." Tyler muttered.
"They wouldn't step out and wait for Miss Laura outside my office and I do not know how long she would be in there,"
"Is this personal or do you just want them out?" Tyler asked.
Was she doing too much? Was it such a small deal that they occupied her space? Was she insisting on this because it had to do with Laura? Well, she didn't think so, she looked at them again before convincing herself that it had nothing to do with Laura. Okay, maybe it had just a little thing to do with Laura.
"They scare me," she said with a tiny voice and that was the truth, apart from the fact that it was awkward, they scared her and she just wouldn't be comfortable with them there.
"Okay, you need to calm down, I will get to it." He said before hanging up.
She was still standing, just almost across her chair. She dropped the telephone before moving towards them.
" You guys could still go now before it escalates," she said, moving towards them.
"Ma'am, we will need you to step back from us," she heard one with really short dark hair say.
'oh, so their voice box worked?' she thought.
And not only were they in her space, but they also wanted to tell her where to stand and where not to?
She was about four rulers away from them and that was the closest she had been to them, but that still wasn't a reason why they should ask her to not stand in a particular place in her own office.
"Ma'am, please step away from us? The man asked again.
"That's exactly what I'm asking from you two, to step away from my space," she said with a hand gesture, subconsciously taking another step towards them.
"Ma'am" the big guy called out, before taking a step towards her, reaching out to her and trying to hold her hands and maybe move her away from them.
She struggled out of his grip which was barely gripping her because he was easy on her.
"Keep your hands off me!" She spoke in a loud tone, but not a shouting tone.
"What is this?" She heard Raymond ask from behind her. When his entrance opened, she didn't know. How did he know that she could do with a little help? Okay, maybe Tyler had reached out to him.
Amanda's attention went straight to seek his face which happened to emit anger. She also noticed his office entrance opened as she saw Laura seated just across his table.
"DO NOT EVER PUT YOUR HANDS ON HER!" He said with a pitched tone, yet commanding and scary. He still maintained his cool as his both hands sat quietly in his pockets.
"NOW I NEED BOTH OF YOU OUT OF HERE.!," he said as the men looked at each other, they tried to maintain their cool but you could still tell that they had folded with Raymond's command.
Amanda noticed Laura standing almost behind Ray, she must have figured that there was a little problem between her guard and Raymond.
"IF SHE ASKS THAT LEAVE HER SPACE, THEN YOU LEAVE HER SPACE WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED!
Hi readers. Do you guys think Sara was in the wrong for asking that they leave her office or was she doing too much? (If you have commented before, you can comment under your old comment or some else's, I will still see it).
