Chapter twenty two

Ruper waited and as the day fell into the night he saw her come out, someone was talking to her now.

It looked as if she liked him and he liked her too, super could tell this thing, but it did not matter, he would soon make her his.

He waited for the man to leave but no he stood there and talked.

He was now feeling something was off about this man but he would take his time, this man looked dangerous, he was the kind of fire you only played with when you had to.

And he did not need to play with him, he just wanted his girl and that was all.

He hoped the man liked sharing because it was the only way out, and he was the game master.

So it is his choosing what rule would be used in his game.

She was now entering the car and the man had moved back a bit for her to remove her car from the outer parking space.

Ruper knew where she would be heading so he did not decide to follow after her.

She would come to him just as the others had done,

as they always did, he stood up gently and went out of the restaurant, he dropped some money to fit the bill and also tip for the waiter who served him.

As he stepped onto the street he went straight to ambers' house and when he got there he went through the back door and entered.

He went upstairs to her room and began to browse through her stuff he had to get her ready for their time alone and also for her sleepover at his place.

As ruper was busy he heard a knock on the door, he froze and listened for any sign of the knock being repeated.

And as he did not hear anything he looked for a spot and relaxed in it, he was now part of the furniture,

He had already adjusted everything before she came to the house it was today or never and ruper could not keep her waiting anymore, he has to save her from this cruel world he thought he closed his eyes and waited.

Amber had gone for a run, it was a bright day and she was eager to leave the heat, but she had to complete her task before going to the dojo to train.

Today she had less work to do and she planned to dismiss Philip early and have a good night's rest, lately, they have been working late And it was hectic for her.

Though he handled most of it there were some she need to tackle herself and no matter how urgent he waited for her.

But today was a good day there were no such issues and she wanted her rest, she was thinking she would use the weekend and go for a spa,

Just to relax a little bit and get herself together, and she thought of who would go with her,

maybe aunt rosa will be willing, she laughed at the thought, she would be willing, who would not want a free massage and body care.

As she ran through the street going for her last lap and straight for her training she thought of whole other stuff she wanted to do.

But all in good time she told herself as she entered the training center she met with Antonio who was worried sick, he had untied his tie and was seated on a workbench.

She was alarmed immediately as she reached where he was, she quickly moved straight to go to the basement.

"Amber "he called

She was startled not knowing what she did wrong, was it she or someone implicated her she was nervous.

She did not want to be in his bad book again.

Have you seen mike lately 'he asked?

Amber said 'no, I did not see him leave the training dojo earlier yesterday I thought he left early to tend to an emergency.

He said flatly "mike is dead".

He did not explain further he only allowed it to slip in.

The whole place grew silent and almost all the students who had known him immediately became sad.

Peter staggered back and sat when Megan who just entered the basement told him about it.

It was all shocking to them how it happened, they all knew mike was strong.

Peter asked Megan "was it a rival school or an accident, it has to be the latter".

Antonio did not say she told him,

Since Antonio was this calm and had not demanded vengeance that means it was not a rival school and not a murder case, it had to be an accident he thought to himself.

All the students in the basement went back upstairs and as they gathered Antonio

Looked at them and said," mike was murdered yesterday,

And I will get to the bottom of this before the police do, detective Robert will be coming here tomorrow to question you all, you better be around, he said sternly.

As he looked from eye to eye he added "I assure you all I will get whoever did this and anyone who assisted them before the police does.

If you know anything come forward and speaks, if not you may speak later he concluded.

As for today's training, you may continue.

He needed Roberta to this time, she would run their profile and all he had to do was send someone after office hours to get it, he needed that of 'lisa'.

At the end of the training, he had waited to talk to amber he needed to know she was okay and not being followed.

Amber was concerned, she had never seen Antonio ask about her like this, there could be something amiss, or cupid had listened to her hidden prayers and the man was making a move on her.

She quickly snapped out of the thought it could be harmful to think such things, and he was before her, if he wanted to he would have said something, he did not look like the shy type.
