 They were supposed to finish up some paperwork for the shipments entering today and she had to sign the checks for the job to be done.

The bit that did not trouble him as to the fact that he could not find her

He called the men and passed out a discreet law, most of them did not know amber so he sent a description and told them to sweep the whole of New York he wanted her found.

After he had done all that, he went to don Vincent, he needed to tell the old man what had happened.

He knew the man would chew him out but it was not something that could be avoided.

He had been careless and he needed to serve his punishment.

He went straight to the old man, he has direct access to him so passing the men at the door he enter the room.

The don was listening to music and a masseuse was giving him a massage.

As Philip entered the room he waited patiently for the don to notice him.

He had to be spoken to first, he could not speak, it was disrespectful to speak without being spoken to first.

He waited a while and then the don saw him through the mirror by the edge of the bed and said "Philip"

He did not answer now as his tongue became heavy and his knees weak.

He did not know exactly which word to let out first.

The don knew his men well, seeing the expression on Phillip's face he told the masseuse to excuse them.

After the masseuse shut the door behind him, don Vicente stood up and sat by the bedside 

Then h said blatantly what happened?

I-i ermmmm

What, did something happen to my granddaughter? The don looked at him in askance

He was still trying to get a hold of himself 

He knew the words might betray him now but he just has that was better than the stammering.

He finally said "I err mmm, I lost amber.

I don't understand what you mean by your lost amber, Is she dead or still alive.

I am not sure sir, I think she jas been kidnapped and I don't know who.

Don Vicente immediately lost his cool, his fist was now clenched and his eyes squinting he was raging hot and the person about to be eaten alive was Philip.

Who slowly fell to his knees, he had to beg for mercy now.

He knew the old man could replace him and he dreaded that.

I will deal with you once she is found don Vincent said.

He did not want to pour his anger out, it was bad for the moment, since the boy was sorry he would have to search for his granddaughter, and when he is found adequate punishment will be given.

You have to find her as soon as possible, if anything happens to her consider yourself dead Philip.

Philip stood up and walked towards the door he knew the old man well and he never made empty treats so he decided to join the search.
