He did not say a word to his lieutenant all he did was stand and wait for his report.

Philip who knew what to do knelt in front of his don and spoke" she called this morning don"

She said she was fine and she would call me to come to pick her up later.

The don's eyes lit up, he was glad about the news, it was fitting for the one who brought the bad news to take it all away.

He looked at Philip and said go get some rest, you look like a stray", I need you your men alert if she calls and now I do not want any bitching around from you do you understand, 

When she is safe with us we wi decide your punishment as for now, you may leave.

The old man waited for Philip to leave before pouring himself some wine, 

He was so elated the girl was safe but he wondered what had happened, she would tell him all about it once she comes back home, he was sure of it.

And whoever it was that tried to harm her would face his wrath.

He was glad he did not use his influence on that wench Roberta, 

She is torn in his thigh even though she was on his payroll, she still was not a submissive, 

There could not be two lions in one pride and since she knew things about him she had to go.

He sipped his wine and looked at some of the deals his boys had signed recently, he owned a money lending business he used as a front and these came from there.

He looked at the papers very well and saw a particular name he was pissed, he knew this particular name and the owner never paid and always dragged his money.

He hated killing those who would reel money for him, but she was now annoying to a fault and he had to call the head of his laundering business Damian and told him to watch her closely if she defaulted the first month her collateral was to be usurped.

The don did not explain why, he just wanted it done.

He checked the name again after the call, he still remembers the last time they lent her money he had to capture and threaten her child and that was how she got money to pay he felt she borrowed from one lender to pay another, it was how she got freed, but it was not freedom because interest piled up and that meant more loans to collect.

He knew it was going to be too much for her to pay so it was better to cut her off than to let her owe them at the end 9f it all and not have any money to pay, it would be a waste of time and time was money which he did not have to spare, he looked at the rest of the documents now and checked to see if any liked her was in the collection.

He would have to fire Damian and put someone a little crazy, it seems Damian was slowing down his business, but he needed amber to do it ,the kid had to toughen up.
