Chapter 122
The doctor came in he looked at the two men and said she is fine as he took the report from the end of the bed around her feet read it and said she and the baby are done she just has a concoction, she hit her head hard, her memories might not be fully intact but we just have to wait for her to wake up and run some tests.
Okay,dante said he looked at amber who was lying on the bed with a bandage wound around her head he was glad that she was okay.
Rosa sat close on the chair he just remembered she was there as he was busy watching Antonio melt in front of amber he did see the man as a stiff but now he did not know what to think he guessed everyone had a soft spot , like he had for amber , carl, rosa and Jessica.
He turned and went out of the room and went back to where Philip was.
He went into the room ,Philip was stretched on the bed his big frame filled it , and he lay there peacefully and slept with bandages all over his body.
He sat in the chair close to his friend and watched him sleep he stayed there until a nurse came and checked on him.
The nurse assured dante"he is just rest in he will soon wake up.
He has no serious haemorrhages ,it's just these you can see , said the black American nurse who adjusted the blinds in the room before leaving.
He knew rosa would not leave amber's side so he stayed with Philip , he is family also
As dante sat there for a while he saw his friend

Hey! He said to Philip

"How are you feeling ?he asked him.
He did not answer he only replied with a question of his own.
Where is amber? He asked searching dante's eyes
How is she doing? He said remembering he took her out of the vehicle before the explosion.
Relax dante cooed she is fine , she is in with rosa and she is getting better, he said.
He sighed and asked after the old man now, he did know he saved him too but he was concerned as the old man was not feeling well before they left the hospital
Dante told him he was fine too and he relaxed.
He said to dante ,it was an attack , we did not just get hit like that ,I wasn't even speeding he explained

Just rest my friend they are both fine , just try and get better.
Dante knew he was saying the truth but what he did not know was who would want to kill them now and why.
