Amber was still in the hospital she was still not awake and carl and dante have been swapping to stay with her , don  vicente had left some of his trusted men to watch her at all hours.

Carl did not trust them much , he would come by and probe them every once in a while.

He was spear heading the business and he got the hang of it easily, the checked the books and monitored the goods.

He reported to the old man who watched his progress.

Time after time until he did not need to report to him anymore.

And the old man pushed whoever contacted him to carl.

And in no time the boy knew every John and doe who did business with them.

He want resentful of his duties as he checked on his sister regularly.

He noticed she had a bumb in her stomach and after alerting the doctors , he was notified that she was pregnant.

He knew who the father was without question

And that made his blood boil the more.

How can he do this to her after killing her parents he thought.

Carl was seated as he watched his sister on the hospital bed , it has been three months since the accident and she has refused to come back.

The doctors say she would soon wake from her coma, her case was rare she was showing signs of stability but still her body was still sleeping.

The doctor urged carl and who ever was close to talk and read to her.

First they had misdiagnosed that her head injury might cause amnesia but it turned out it just put her in a coma state.

Carl would read little red riding hood to her , he'd taken it from her house when he was sitting through her things 

He found it hidden with her diary , he did not open the diary he only took the book and read to her like she did him after their father passed.

She read him the story until he knew it all by heart.

He did not like it that she read to him while he was grown but he liked the nostalgia

Their father used to read it to them and they would quietly listen until they fell asleep.

He switched of the lights and kissed them good night.

Carl faked his sleep  it most nights so he could stop reading and leave he would take his comics and browse through
