Chapter 78
"Soul look at!" Dusa shouted to her from where she was.
"I don't need to look out." Soul stated, and quickly fill in two arrows on her bow.
"I will show you MORTAL!" The god of rocks shouted after getting close enough to Soul. He then lift up his spirit weapon and strike Soul twice with it, but she easily avoided his attacks.
"... Fight back you mortal, don't avoiding the attacks!" The god of rocks shouted angrily at her, and manage to grab hold of her garment. After he grabs her garment, he smash her to the ground, and kick her far away from him.
"AHHHHH!" Soul shouts in pain as she drifts away after the god of rocks kicked her. Dusa and the spirit animal who was this did not like it, and they were ready to go and attack the god of rock for what he just did to her.
"Damn you!" Dusa yells from where she was, and storm at the god of rocks but the god of mystic arts somehow teleported to where she was and stop her.
"...Stop! You can't interfere in the fight." The god of mystic arts said to her.
"...and why?!" Dusa ask him in a very angry tone.
"Your sister was a mortal, and she became a goddess. You all of people should know how the upper gods treat people who they feel are far away like them. So the only way for Soul to prove that she is a true goddess and be accepted by all the gods in Olympus is by showing off her true powers, and defecting the god of rocks." The god of mystic arts explained, and turn around to watch the fight.
"Damn you all." Dusa muttered, and climb on one of the spirit animal inorder to get a better view of the fight.
"I know you can do it sister. Show this gods that you are 100 times more powerful than them." Dusa said in her mind as she watch the fight.
"Stand up you weak mortal!" The god of rocks shouted at soul, while she is still on the ground.
"..Damn you! I am not weak." Soul muttered and try to stand up, but her body did not allow her to. The kick the god of rocks gave her fracture her elbow, and some other parts of her body still hurts.
"Stand up and fight you weak mortal! Stand up." The rock gods still continue shouting at her.
"...I am going to do just that!" Soul shouted and then brought use her bow to support her up.
"Yes! Now that you are finally standing. Let's end this you weak mortal." The god of rocks stated, and conjure his spirit weapon in his other hand.
"I am not weak!" Soul stated.
"Oh! You ain't huh? Okay, tell me why is your elbow broken? If you are so strong why did you elbow broke when i kicked you?...Face it mortal. You will never be a true goddess, you will only be a mortal who just got lucky and was given the position of a goddess." The god of rocks slash out at her, but Soul still didn't take it to heart.
"Fine! You are right. I am just a weak mortal who got lucky. But i am still a goddess because the mother of fate made me one, and i have the heart, will and strength of a goddess within me the since i was born!" Soul gracefully said, and strangely she began to levitate.
She has someone gain the understanding of levitation without being thought.
"Woah! She is levitating! She is levitating!" All the gods who could clearly see what's happening shouted.
"...I thought before a god can levitate he or she should learn the art of levitation for years before they can pull it off?" The goddess of wildlife pull out a question.
"...Yes! But how do this mortal learn how to levitate in just a few year? Or have it even be a few years?" The god of mystic arts ask.
"..I guess she is just nature talented." Cresifo spoke out.
"Talented indeed. Most medium gods can't even levitate but she can without being thought. That right there is true talent." The goddess of wildlife stated, and her words made the god of rocks really angry because he can't levitate after practicing levitation for thousands of years. The only way he could is when he use is magic to Conjure up a bird he can ride on, or wings for himself.
"Damn mortal!" The god of rocks muttered and turn to Soul who was still levitating in the air.
"...I will show them!" The god of rocks added, and close his eyes. He wants to also levitate, so he jump up thinking he will be able to pull it off, but he only fell straight to the ground.
"Hahahaha!" Most the gods laugh him the moment he fell to the ground.
"You really think you will be able to levitate?" The god of understanding ask him, and continue laughing.
"... You can never pull it off, you are just a weak medium god." The goddess of the moon spoke out, and join in the laughter.
"... It's so funny how he fell on the ground." The young god of ice spoke out.
"...Damn you all!" The god of rocks yelled and all the gods kept quiet.
"...I wonder what he is going to do now?" The god of ice ask.
"...maybe be he will attempt to levitate again... hahahaha!" The goddess of the moon said, and all the gods began laughing once more.
"... because of you!" The god of rocks shouted, and jump straight to where Soul was. He flew straight to her with emerges speed.
"AHHHHH!" The god of rocks shouted, as he got real close to Soul, and brought out his two spirit weapons that he wants to kill her with.
"Soul look at!" Dusa shouted to her, and she turn to the god flying straight to her. Soul knew she can't use her bow because of her broken elbow, so she simply take a deep breathe and summon a very large amount of fire from her mouth, and the fire blasts the god of rocks straight to the ground.
"AHHHHH!" The god of rocks yells in pain as he drifts to the ground with smoke coming out of his body. His armour was greatly destroyed by soul's fire breathe and his skin was also burn too. The god of rocks falls to the ground unconscious, and all the gods were shocked by the emerges fire that she was able to summon.
"Okay! Can someone tell me how to levitate back to the ground?" Soul ask.
"Just relax your mind and picture yourself levitating to the ground" Dusa shouted to her.
"Okay!" Soul answered, and did exactly what she said. "AHHH!" Soul shouted as she falls down to the ground. Luckily for her the god of pride quickly conjure up a cloud, which she fell on top.
"Thank you!" Soul thank him.
"It's okay." Cresifo answered, and walk in front of all the gods.
"I think we all just saw what happened? I think we all saw how she easily defect one of the strongest medium god?" Cresifo ask them.
"...Yes! I think we all are now convince that Soul is more than just a mortal. She is a true goddess and just by the position alone." The god of mystic arts said, and all the gods mumble among themselves.
"...okay! I think i will acknowledge the mortal as a goddess." The god of understanding spoke out.
"Yeah..me too. She is very pretty and she will make a good wife." The god of ice stated.
"..sorry but i have someone." Soul blew him off.
"...and who is that? Who is the person?" The god of ice ask her.
"Er...." Soul suddenly remember that Eros was badly wounded when she and Dusa entered into the sinking ground, and she promise to come back and take care of him.
"Eros!" Soul suddenly shouted.
"...Dusa we totally forgot about Eros! I totally forgot about him!" Soul panics, and quick turn around to where Eros was laying unconscious only to see Eros being held on the neck by Zeus.
*Hahahaha!*
Zeus laugh out loud.
"You think that your stupid illusion would have lasted in mind? I am the god of gods. The strongest person in Olympus and nobody especially a common mortal like you can restrain me." Zeus said and began tightening his grip on Eros head.
"...Let your son go...Zeus!" Dusa shouted to him from where she was and was about to charge at him but Zeus stop her.
"Wait!" Zeus shouted and place on of his head on Eros golden wings.
"If you or any god move an inch, i will pull off the feathers of the weak god...you gat me?" Zeus stated.
"That's you son you freak. Put Eros down!" Soul shouted angrily at him.
"Oh! I will put him down, but first you have to do something for me." Zeus demanded.
"...and what is that?" Soul ask him.
"give me your Powers!" Zeus answered.
"I don't know how to give my powers away." Soul said.
"If you don't do that your soon to be partner will die!" Zeus threatens.
"If he dies, he will be reincated back as either a mortal or god. So Soul don't give him your powers. Let me do whatever he wants to do." The god of pride stated.
"No! I will not let me kill Eros just because of him. Eros have risk his life countless times, and even die just to protect. So now i am the one who is only to risk her life or die to protect him." Soul stated and stretch out her hands.
"Okay! Take my powers...you can take my powers okay." Soul said to Zeus.
"Yes! Now walk closer to him nice and show." Zeus said.
"...But know, if you try to act smart, his head will be on the ground." Zeus threatens.
"I will not do anything. But you have to promise that you will let Eros go if i walk up to you." Soul said.
"I promise." Zeus firmly said a evil grin on his face.
"Fine! Here i come." Soul stated, and began walking towards Zeus.
"Mortal! You don't have to do this." The goddess of wildlife shouted to her.
"No! I have to. So please don't try to help me. If you do so, he will kill Eros." Soul said to her, and continue walking towards Zeus.
"She is definitely going to get herself killed." The goddess of wildlife muttered.
"No! She will get herself and Eros killed." The god of mystic arts stated.
"We have to do something! Zeus is definitely going to kill her and Eros." The god of understanding pitch in.
"We can't do anything. He already have Eros in his hand, and the mortal is already too close to him. If we try to do anything. He will just kill Eros and take the mortals powers." The god of pride points out.
"Damnit!" Dusa shouted, and kept her cool.
MINUTES LATER.......
"Okay! I am here. Now let Eros go." Soul stated.
"Come close mortal." Zeus demanded.
"I am already really close to you. Now let Eros go." Soul demanded.
"Fine!" Zeus said and tighten his grip on Eros head. Soon after blood began to drip down his head, and Eros began to shake furiously while still unconscious.
"Stop! Let him go!" Soul brought out her bow and hit Zeus in the head with it, but the bow only bounce off her hand. She did not have the strength yet to injure an upper god like Zeus.
*Hahahaha*
"...you think that will even leave a wound?" Zeus stopped laughing and ask her. He then quickly grab hold of her head and lift her up
"Soul!" Dusa shouted, and charge at Zeus with the help of soul's Phoenix. Some gods who have acknowledge soul as a goddess strangely followed Dusa from behind
"Stop!" Zeus roars at all of them storming towards him.
"If any of you move a damn inch, i am going to crush this mortals head with my hand." Zeus threatens.
"...you will never. You need her powers!" Dusa stated.
"Let's see about that." Zeus muttered and began tightening his grip on soul's head.
"AHHHHH!" Soul yells out in pain and struggles furiously to free herself from him.
"Fine! Fine! Fine!" Dusa shouted.
"We wouldn't move an inch, now stop!" Dusa shouted at him.
"Fine." He answered and release his tight grip a little.
"..You are lucky your sister did exactly what i asked otherwise, you head will be scattered on the ground." Zeus draw soul closer to him and said.
"...I am not afraid of you!" Soul stated.
"..You will soon enough." Zeus whisper to her.
"... please just let Eros go. You already got me, so just let him go." Soul begged.
*Hahahaha*
Zeus laugh out loud.
"So you thought I will really let him go, the moment i get hold of you?...you mortals are really stupid." Zeus stated, and began laughing.
"ARRRHHH! Damn you!" Soul screams and fire blast out from her mouth to Zeus who was still laughing.
Somehow Soul's fire manage to enter into mouth Zeus mouth, so he stopped laughing and began chocking.
"Damn...you... mortal!" Zeus manage to talk while still chocking.
"That is for deceiving me, and trying to kill your own son." Soul stated.
"...You...will...pay...for... doing...that...to...me!" Zeus manage to talk again, and continue coughing.
"...I think now is our chance. Let's attack him." Dusa commanded.
"...No! Don't. If you do so he will just kill Soul and Eros when he sees you all coming." The goddess of war affairs spoke out.
"Damnit!" Dusa shouted in frustration.
"... Come on Soul, do something." Dusa said in her mind as she watch her from a distance.
"Let me go, you evil man!" Soul shouted at Zeus kicks him.
"ENOUGH!" Zeus shouted at her, and tighten his grip on her head.
"You think you are strong huh? You think you can defect me?! I will show you." Zeus stated, and then tighten his grip on Eros head yet again.
"No! Stop!" Soul shouted at him after seeing the way her beloved Eros was shaking while blood drips down his face.
"Shut up!" Zeus shouted, and close her eyes. Soon after he opened it, and his palm on top Soul's head began to glow.
"Ready to loose your power and life?!" Zeus ask her with a smile on his face.
"No! Please stop!" Soul cried and beg him to let Eros go.
"Time to die mortal!" Zeus stated, and at that near moment a spear flies out of the portal, and cut off Zeus left arm. His arms falls off his body, and Eros who was being held with the arm also fell to the ground.
The spear that fly out of the portal, than flew straight back to the portal, but before it entered into it, a man hand grabs hold of it, and jump out with a large dragon like animal begin him.
Finally Zadre was out of the mortal.
"Zadre! It's him. He is out!" Dusa excitedly shouted, and wave to him. But all the gods were not happy to see the son of Hades in Olympus.
"You?! You were the one that cut off my arm?" Zeus ask as a new arm regenerate back into his body.
"Yeah! Disappointed huh?" Zadre ask, and climb on his spirit animal.
"You damn son of Hades!" Zeus grumbles.
"... Wait! But i thought you will be burning when i come out of that damn portal?" Zadre ignored what he just said and ask.
"... wait! You were the one that set me on fire?" Zeus asks him.
"Yes! Now let Soul go or else..." Zadre warns.
"Or else what? You can't defect me." Zeus boldly said.
"Yeah! You are probably right. But she can." Zadre said and points to the portal.
"what...?" Zeus said in confusion, and turn to portal only to see Aphrodite emerging out of it, and holding something which looks like a crystal. She was wearing a golden armour, and was shinning like the sun itself. She looked really different from the Aphrodite he just left in the palace.
"KNEE!" Aphrodite shouted, and then three large chains flies out of the crystal. Two flew to where Zeus was and restrain him to the ground, while the other flew to where Eros was and gently carry him to Aphrodite arms.
