"It is me, Boss" the voice came from behind the door, Jeff recognized the voice.
He cocked his gun and hid it at his back, he walked to the door and opened the door, the young man who was knocking quickly got in.
Jeff shut and locked the door, he turned to him and offered him a chair.
"Scot, have you been to the club, how is everything going there?" Jeff asked, he picked a cigarette from the table and lit it.
Scot studied his boss for some time "I did, the police searched the place, and had some few things on us, the police are still investigating, someone is trying to run us down" he narrated the information he had gotten.
Jeff dragged the cigarette and puffed a cloud of smoke in the air "do you think Sylvester had a hand in it?" Jeff asked, suspecting that the information that he had given to Cole, was the reason why he was attacked.
The young man nodded "I suspect he does, the club was incriminating, even when we moved all the outlaws" he answered diligently.
Jeff sighed in regret "how about Cole's death?" he questioned further.
"The police are still working on leads, there is nothing yet from it" Cole nodded, he stood and walked to the window.
From the position, he could see the high buildings, and cars plying the tarred roads.
"keep an eye on them" he instructed.
A man entered Old Man Bill's office with a package, he sat before him and stretched his hand with a huge envelope to him.
"Here, is it, Boss," he said, and Old Mam Bill received it, he put his hand in it and brought out pictures.
"I wasn't let in first, but after a few calls, I was allowed to take pictures of him in the morgue" he narrated his ordeal while carrying out the task.
Old Man Bill nodded, the investigation is still open and the police wouldn't want anything to be tempered with evidence.
Old Man Bill glanced at the pictures one after the other, he noticed two deep holes on his neck.
He remembered what his guard had said earlier about a vampire is responsible for Cole's death, he sighed and took it to the back of his mind, it was crazy to believe such.
"What is the forensic result?" he requested, and the man brought out a paper from another envelope.
Old Man Bill studied it "attacked by an animal?!" he reiterated the report, it sounded strange to him.
Jeane ignored Jeame purposely, she went over to where her friends were "Hey, Lucy" she said and gave her a smacking kiss on her cheek.
She was surprised but grateful her friend is back to her normal self, Sam watched her intently while Jack all smiled.
Jeane turned to Jack and smiled back, she finally faced Sam and her face became serious.
"I don't want us to dwell on yesterday, Sam, we will always remain the best
