metres away from them.
He got into the car and drove out, Jeane waved at him, she turned around and saw Jeame.
"C'mon, dress up, we are going out," she said smilingly, Jeame was putting on a mask, Jeane didn't see his facial expression, but beneath the mask, Jeame was happy to see her happy.
Jeane got into her room and her phone started ringing, she picked the call.
"Hello, Lucy," she said, quickly, immediately the call connected.
"I am just watching the news, Keane is killed" Jeane entire body froze, she became numb instantly.
"Are you there, Jeane?" Lucy's voice came from the speaker.
She took a long breath, her heart sank, feeling deep sorrow.
"How was he killed?" she asked in disbelief, her heart beating rapidly, her eyes teared up.
"Jeane, I didn't want to tell you this, but the car we saw bombed the other time, is Keane" she blurted out, Jeane blinked and a drop of tear fell from her eyes.
"Jeane, I will be there with you soon, don't get sad over it..." Lucy disrupted her deep raging thoughts and ended the call.
She hung, Jeane's phone was still stuck on her ear, even after the call ended, she sunk on her bed and buried her face in her palms.
Jeame heard her weeping from his room, he turned the doorknob and saw her in a miserable state, he came closer.
Jeane quickly stood and embraced him tightly, crying in his arms. his shirt was damped by her tears, Jeane retracted feeling the wet on his chest.
She lowered her head in embarrassment and blushed profusely.
"I am sorry" she mumbled, Jeame looked at her tenderly.
silly! he thought in his mind.
"stop crying" he comforted, putting an arm over her shoulder, she stared at him with a profound look, her heart beating rapidly, she sighed.
An hour later, Lucy, Jack, arrived at Jeane's house, they knocked at the main door, Carl stood and opened it.
"Uncle Carl, you are looking old" Jack commented on his appearance, he frowned and glared at Jack.
"I am not old yet, I am still handsome and vibrant, am I lying, Lucy?" he asked turning to Lucy.
she shrugged "but uncle Carl, you are grey" she smiled mischievously and quickly went up to Jeane's room.
Carl was offended, he rolled his eyes.
"humphed! both of you are disrespectful!" he retorted and stormed off.
Jack stood chuckling "wait for me, Lucy!" he yapped, and quickly ran up to meet her.
Jeane was already dressed for the campout, she tied a handkerchief around her forehead, making her face, obvious and graceful.
The door opened and Lucy stepped in, seeing her friend dressed causally.
"you look good, Jeane, what is the party?" she asked, feigning ignorance, Jeane rolled her eyes.
Jack peeped, before entering, his reaction somewhat different.
"Hello, Jeane," he said smilingly, Jeane rolled her eyes at them.
"I thought we are all going to the campout, ain't you ready?" she
