His left, his eyes shut, and his breath deep, as he snored sleepily.
“Wake him.”
Jo instructed, the other man standing aside his colleague, stepped forward with a bucket filled with water, and poured it over his head, forcing to wake up immediately.
“Oh”
Mr. Bruce shook violently, but he was forcibly steadied by the ropes that fastened him to the chair.
Joseph stepped forward and squatted before the flabbergasted man, that was soaked in the cold water.
“Do you remember me?” Jo asked, with an arched eyebrow.
Mr. Bruce, looking at his gloomy face, shuddered in fear, he became agitated, his lips quivered.
Jeane sped down the room, she stared at her phone momentarily, before focusing on the road.
She turned again to check if Jack had called, when she turned to focus on the road, she caught a glimpse of something behind her, from the rearview, she was stunned.
“What the hell!” she exclaimed.
Suddenly, the horn of a trailer blared.
Poo!
The beaming light rays from the trailer headlights blinded her, she became flustered on the wheel, she braced herself for the next action.
She shut her eyelids, expecting the worst from the collision, she suddenly felt safe, she felt his arms around her, and her favorite fragrance waft into her nostrils.
She clung to him tighter, wishing she isn't dreaming, her eyelids fluttered. She opened it, seeing the darkness, she shut it and pressed herself to his strong frame, Jeame stood still.
“Um” Jeane mused.
His arms around her felt so good, she braced herself and opened her eyes, and pulled away from the embrace, feeling embarrassed, she became confused instantly.

She quickly took it and picked the call, immediately she saw that the caller I.D was Jack.
“Jack, what's up?” she said into the receiver, heaving, the near-death experience scared her to her wits.
“You don't have to come, Jeane, Sam has already taken away, I will go to the station and file complaints" he heard him say.
She couldn't add any contribution, the near-death experience feelings was lingering in her.
“Okay” she simply responded, and the phone beeped, indicating that Jack had hung up.
"Let's go”
Jeame grabbed her hand and led her to the sidewalk, the both of them strode in the dark, Jeane glanced at the damaged car hauled to the side of the road by the trailer, her heart palpitated.
Sylvester reclined on the car seat, he drove slowly, he clenched his fists tightly after driving pass Bill's mansion, he glanced towards the direction of the house, and trotted before zooming off.
He sped towards the ending of the street, he reduced his speed
