He went into the bathroom, and prepared for work, he walked into the opposite room, and opened it.

He saw Amanda still sleeping calmly, he shut the door, and left, he took his breakfast and drove to work.

Amanda stirred and stretched her arms, she rubbed her sleepy eyes, shock registered on her face, the moment she saw the unfamiliar room.

He eyes darted to the corners of the room, and discovered that, she slept where she doesn't know, she quickly got down from the bed.

The door creaked, and she jumped in shock, a beautiful lady, came in.

“Good morning, ma'am, I am the one who changed your outfit, am sorry for not taking permission from you” she said, lowering her head.

“It fine” Amanda brushed the matter aside, the maid raised her head in shock, Amanda nodded to confirm her earlier resolve.

The maid left, Amanda took a deep breath, and went into the bathroom, her face heated, when she remembered her dirty thoughts.

Jo barely got out of his car, when a dispatcher approached him.

“Good morning, sir, I directed to deliver a parcel to you” the lad wearing a helmet said.

Jo nodded, and he directed him where to sign, he did, and received the packaged card like shape parcel.

He didn't give so many thoughts about it, he went up to his office.

He settled in his office, and opened the package, removed the sealed envelope.

Jo read through the wedding invitation card, and his face beamed with a radiating smile.

Just in time, his phone started ringing, he saw the caller ID, a smug smile appeared on his face.

“Linda, I got your invitation card, I will surely attend if I have the time, congratulations, I will buy you some baby's stuffs” he said.

Linda felt like vomiting blood from the other end, she wondered why Jo didn't feel hurt, and begged her, like he did when they broke up then.

She took a deep breath “Jo, I know you are hurt, I didn't expect you to act like a woman and refuse to own it up” she remarked.

Jo shook his head, wondering what she is really thinking.

“No, am not, have a wonder lover's day” he said and hung up, he remembered Amanda, he decided to call her.

The moment the call connected, a broad smile surfaced on his face.

“Yup, I will be in office soon” she responded.

“You don't have to, go stay with your mom, I will call you later for a dinner” he said, Amanda was silent momentarily.
