The officer nodded "do you have money with you to pay to your destination?" The officer inquired, she pondered on it, and realized she didn't have any money with her all along, she shook her head.

He squeezed some cash into her palm "have this, it will be able to take you, home"

Jeane looked at him with confusion, before she could protest or even thank him for his kindness, he has turned around scurried off, she exhaled and brought out her phone, and called her foster parents.

"Mama, I am coming home, you don't have to worry about me, I am on my way home," she said into the receiver.

Before she could say anything, Jeane hung up and her face radiated with a smile, she stopped a taxi, and got in, the driver drove off, towards her location.

When the middle-aged woman got off the call from Jeane, her husband and son, Zhao was planning to find a way to release Jeane from the police net.

"What did Ju Su say?" The two of them asked, surprised by the abrupt call.

"Ju Su said, that she is out of police cell!" she exclaimed in shock, they turned to her and looked at her in disbelief.

The moment the man escorted Jeane out of the police station, he quickly returned and report to the captain, he and the commissioner were in his office.

"Sir, I have sent her away, I don't think she knows anything concerning the necklace, or its status and importance" the police who escorted Jeane said.

The other officers nodded in acknowledgement, she would have displayed it earlier, and they won't dare to arrest her.

They exhaled in relief "it is good she is gone, I will take my leave now, make sure, you erase every trace of her presence in the police station" the commissioner instructed, before leaving.

Xiao and his minions were happy that their plot worked,  he regrouped and they all headed to Ming's home, they wore a long faces, and swagger like people going to war.

Xiao reached the door, instead of knocking, they descended on the door, forcing it open with kicks.

"Who is that insane person, that wants to bring down the door, for goodness sake" Mrs Ming lamented, the door opened.

Xiao swaggered in and shot the people in the room with condescending room "Ming, you think you can escape my wrath, today, I am going to teach you all a bitter lesson" he declared proudly.

Mrs Ming stood with arms akimbo with pouted lips, she shot him an angry look "Xiao, what are you doing here again? You have not had enough of the beating, Xiao?" She sneered at him.

Xiao frowned when she reminded him of the humiliation he suffered at the hands of Jeane "shut up! You think you can scare me, Ju Su is now in a police cell, and nothing you can do and say here that
