Untitled Chapter.

Elena's Pov.

I walked through the streets, weaving between bodies, the people here were very accommodating, they seemed like one huge family in their colourful traditional attires, this place was like it was pulled out of one of my dreams and brought into existence, even the air here felt refreshing, calming, and to think that Lorenzo owned half, or more than half of this place was a thing of wonder.

The street stretched wide and I pulled my muffler around my head, the sun was high, but not scorching and I just wanted to lose myself in the crowd, the busy street, there were no cars here, that was a thing of wonder too, but there were wagons and carts and motorcycles, most of the people took to trekking and that was to be expected in such a small island town.

The bell rang as I entered a bookstore and a woman with greying hairs stood from the counter to welcome me, I smiled at her and started looking around the place, finding a handful of books that caught my interest.

"Are you from high up there" she was behind me and I almost jumped when she spoke, she was pointing in the direction that I had come from and I understood that she was talking about the estate.

"Oh I stay there, bit I could just be a tourist." I said, looking everywhere but her.

"You could be, but you are not, the elegance and aura you have, you are most definitely not a tourist." She said, scrutinizing me.
