She Fooled Him

Dami looked at the locked door, he could not believe that Lanre has locked him in. He puts both hands on his head. It seems he will have to break open the door. But how does he even start since he is going to be break it from within instead of without. Just as he was at it, he noticed the sound of someone’s footsteps. He took a deep breath of relief. Turns out Lanre was still around. Maybe she just didn’t want to leave the mirror or she was just playing around.

“Lanre..” Dami called but swallowed his words when he saw who it was at his door. “What are you doing here?” Dami asked the stranger. He didn’t even know the person. “Are you Dami?” The stranger asked.

The stranger had dark ebony skin. He seem to be a simple guy. He probably didn’t know Dami as well since he was asking if he was actually Dami. Dami looked at the young guy in confusion. “Yes I am Dami, who are you?” Dami asked already sizing up the guy if there should be a fight.

“I’m Lawrence! Met your girlfriend outside some few metres away from this building. She pleaded with me to come help you. She said she was going to get something. She thought she would see it close by but it happened that where she is going to get it from is far from here and she had locked you in”. The stranger who introduced himself as Lawrence said. Dami looked at him not wanting to believe him.

“So you came into my house without knocking!” Dami asked. For a moment, the young man, Lawrence was confused. Then he asked Dami how was he supposed to knock when the keys were in his hands and his girlfriend had instructed him not to knock. Then he added that his girlfriend is really hot. He didn’t know when he agreed to do this for her. Dami told the young man to get out of his house. He couldn’t believe he got fooled by Lanre. A girl actually fooled him. Dami laughed at himself. He followed the young man to ensure he was really out of his house.

Dami locks his door when he was sure the young man was gone. Then he turned to go to his room. Just as he was about to go inside his room, he felt something was odd. His guitar was no where to be found. And his shirt which he had pulled off and placed on the couch was no longer there. It seems she must have wore his shirt over her shorts. He thought she was indeed smart. But right now, his major concern was his guitar. He rushed into his room and dressed up immediately. Then he ran back to the living room. He picked up his phone to see a message on his phone. “You dare to slap me leaving bruises on my face. I have your guitar which you love so much *smiley face*”. That was from Lanre.
