You And I

Lanre would not want someone like K who she believes is a big time flirt. He seemed like a player, and she was the jealous type. She could be a really bad bitch when jealous, no different from a witch. She would not want that to happen.

“K, how?” She asked him. “How am I making things difficult for us when there is no us?” Lanre asked K again. K gritted his teeth. He wouldn’t want to talk more. He stood up. Then he told Lanre that they were leaving already. They did not get to order for anything.

Lanre stood up and walked after K as they made their way out of the restaurant. She was glad he was taking her back to her school. She would prefer he drops her there. Even though she was going back home to Ibadan in two days, she still would not want him to know where she was living.

But that was what she thought, that he was taking her back to her school until they ended up in the five star hotel which K was lodged in. “Why are we hear?” She asked. “You didn’t like it at the restaurant. I think the food here is nice. And we could eat it in my hotel room”. K said to her. His reply stung like a bee in her ears. She began to protest. She knew what could be the outcome if she goes in with him.

“I am not going in with you. I have a lot of things to do at home. Besides, I’m not hungry”. She said, lying when she has not eaten a thing since that morning. And just as if her stomach has developed a mind of it’s own, it growled. It was loud enough to reach K’s ears. He smirked.

“True, you are not hungry!” He said sarcasm dripping all over his words. Then he got down from the car and walked over to Lanre’s side to open the door for her. “Step out sexy!” K said to her. He finally said want he wanted to tell her since he saw her on the cooperate wear. She looked like one of those killer secretaries with the cute face, innocent but sexy, doing all the damaging things to a man’s senses.

Lanre looks at him disapprovingly. “No sex!” She said. K almost burst out laughing. Then he leaned down blocking her from stepping out. “You and I cannot be kept in one room Lanre. We will definitely do all the crazy stuffs together. We will go all night and all day till we are completely spent”. He said to Lanre, making her shiver. But she did well to hide it, if that was good enough, he still caught her. It made him glad the effect he has on her has not depleted. He seized that opportunity to kiss her lips. He smiled against her lips when she did not even make attempts to push him away. He got her right where he wanted.
