Faith stared at the huge guy standing by the door. His musky scent filled the room and that was when she took a good look at him. He was good looking, his face constitutes of heavy brow ridges, squared temples, chiseled cheek bones, strong and well defined jawline, with light stubble beard, thin lips and burning green eyes which were burning into hers. She quickly looked away from him, so it won't appear that she was drooling.
"We need to talk," he said. His voice was deep and rough.
She wondered why she was just noticing those details after Nora had talked about him being hot. She glanced at Nora and Nora gave her a slight nod of the head, which meant she was going to leave them alone. She widened her eyes at Nora, telling Nora that she couldn't leave her there alone. But, Nora was not having any of it. She stood up and left.
Left alone with a total hot stranger, Faith readjusted on the bed and ran her eyes down her body, making sure she was properly covered. She didn't want to look at him, so she kept her eyes focused on the floor.
"What do you want to talk about?" she asked when she felt he was silent for a long time.
"Isn't it obvious? How we are going to coexist peacefully."
"Never!" Faith snapped and looked at him. "There's no way I'm living with a total stranger."
Ethan chuckled lightly. "Don't flatter yourself, I won't be needing any sexual favours."
Faith's pupils almost popped out of their sockets. "Who's talking about sexual favours?"
"You're insinuating it. All these facade of not being able to live with a stranger, especially when that stranger is male, all insinuates what I said."
"If your mind is all dirt and grease, then leave me out of it. I'm not putting up any facade."
"Whatever. Stop making it a big deal. If you can't move out of the house, then you have to put up with living with a hot opposite or have you never lived with a man before?"
"You disgust me already," Faith snarled. "Is this what you wanted to about?"
"That and a lot more actually, but looks like you are not in your right frame of mind."
"I can't even do this right now," Faith went towards the closet to pick up her cardigan and other necessary clothes she needed and started living the room.
"Uhm...Faith? If you're leaving here, why not leave with your luggage?" he asked gesturing to the closet.
"Who said I was leaving?"
"I mean, leaving this room. You should move to the other rooms, there are other rooms available in the apartment, you could pick once of those."
Faith wondered if he was being serious or he was just trying to step on her last nerve. What was he talking about? If he feels he was rude, she was the queen of stubbornness and when stubbornness and rude meet, that equals disaster. She turned to face him fully and despite her scowl, he had a stupid smirk on his face. It took her all her willpower to control her anger.
Moving closer to him, staring daringly into his green eyes and raising her chin she said, "Address me with Miss Prescott, its strictly formal and you are the gentleman, you should leave here before I'm back."
She took few steps back, still looking at him, he still had that smirk on his face. She turned and left the room, banging the door behind her.
Ethan's smirk spread into a smile, he raised his brows and shoulders. "Sassy," he muttered. "I like you too!" he called and fell on the bed.
