"I came here for someone," Frederick said as he turned to face the class, his eyes searching for something specific before settling on me. My heart gave me a little 'thumbs up.' But, seriously, I remember taking my pills today.
The class started murmuring again, probably wondering who Frederick had come here to get. I couldn't blame them; Frederick rarely came to class, so this was a rare occurrence.
Confused "Who?" inquired Mr Joe.
Frederick raised his hands and pointed to me. "Her"
The girl sitting in front of me immediately exclaimed to her friend, "Oh my God, he's pointing at me!"
I gasped out loud as Frederick smirked, "Not you dear, the short lady at your back." Was he referring to me as'short'? Oh, if only I could strangle the boy.
I was expecting it, and everyone in the class was taken by surprise when they realized he was referring to me. People were murmuring in a perplexed tone, 'Amanda? from all the people Amanda?' I ignored them all, focusing my attention solely on the tall boy in front of the class.
"Do you wish to see Amanda? Oh well, I don't see a problem with that." Mr Joe responded with a bright smile. What an a$$ kisser.
I sighed and rose from my seat, carrying my schoolbag and walking to the classroom door, what? It's not like I was paying attention in class in the first place.
When I didn't see Frederick walking, I turned around. 'Aren't you coming?' I asked. He smiled briefly and walked over to me, but not before saying goodbye to Mr Joe. As we walked out of the classroom, I could see from the corner of my eye how my classmates were opening their mouths in shock.
............................................
"So, what brought you to fetch me from class?" I asked Frederick as we walked through the hallway, almost to the school's front door.
"Almost four minutes have passed since we left class, and you're now asking me?" Frederick said, chuckling and shaking his head slightly.
"What na, it just dawned on me now that you practically kidnapped me from the class," I blushed slightly.
"Kidnap? When you came willingly with me, it's not called kidnapping, Haba "With a wide grin, he joked.
As a response, I stuck out my tongue.
"God, you're such a child," Frederick mumbled, making me laugh loudly and smile wide. For some unknown reason, I just felt really happy today, as if other people's opinions didn't matter to me right now.
"Beautiful," he murmured, his face dazed.
"What?" I inquired, not quite understanding what he had said. He responded immediately with a 'nothing,' he responded so quickly that it felt suspicious, but I dismissed it thinking it was probably nothing.
We had just left the school and were now approaching a black slick car that looked exactly like mine, except that it appeared customized in a few places.
"Ehn you haven't responded yet, where are you taking me to?" As we got closer to the car, I tried asking him again, this time with a raised eyebrow.
His familiar smirk embraced his face in response to my question. Before he spoke, he opened the car door and motioned for me to enter.
"For instruction and training"
Please, God, tell me this youngster was joking.

"WAOW," I exclaimed when we arrived at Frederick's house. The sight was absolutely breathtaking.
"Is it really that impressive?" Frederick scratched the back of his head nervously.
"Is that even a legitimate question?" I was speechless as I stared at him and exclaimed, "I mean, look at this house."
"Thanks, I guess," he replied with a genuine smile. Let me just break it down for you: my house was a pretty big ass mansion, no doubt about it, but Frederick's house? Well, Frederick's house was even bigger, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was bigger than any other mansion I'd ever seen. It makes me wonder how wealthy Frederick's parents were.
"So, are you just going to stand there or are you going to come in?" Frederick asked from the front door, a teasing smile on his lips.
When the school's golden boy first told me he was taking me for training, I thought he was just messing with me, so I just got in the car and drove to wherever he was taking me to.
Okay, I'll admit it wasn't the brightest idea at the time; he could have been taking me somewhere to kill me or something, but I trusted Frederick for some reason and immediately dismissed that thought.
I started walking towards where Frederick was standing.
"You said you were taking me for training, not to your house," I finally said to him.
His face was automatically adorned with a smirk. "Didn't I say where the training would be?" As a response, I gave him a look.
His house door security was identical to mine, so he quickly entered a code and opened the door for us to enter.
"Wow," I muttered as my gaze fell on the house's interior design. It was the ideal combination of homey and exquisite, and it was truly a work of art.
"Your house is lovely, Frederick," I said out loud.
"Only if it were also beautiful on the inside." He mumbled something in a sad tone. I looked at him, perplexed, but I was talking about the inside of the house. For some reason, I got the impression that what he said had a much deeper meaning.
I didn't want to pry, so I didn't say anything.
"So, where are we going to do the training?" I eliminated the word "training" from the conversation because I could not bring myself to believe that he had brought me to his house to train. He had to be joking, right?
"You'll see." His previous gloomy mood was immediately replaced by his infamous smirk.
We continued walking through the house for about 3 minutes before arriving at a door. I couldn't see anything through the glass door because it was stained black.
"What are we doing?" I inquired, skeptically.
To answer my question, Frederick stretched his hand to open the door and said, "My personal gym," before opening it quickly.
"Waow!" I exclaimed for the third time, this time quite loudly.
"Are you serious, Amanda?" Frederick chuckled, and his dimples, which I have secretly grown to adore, popped out.
"What? When you show me something as cool as this, you can't expect me not to do it "I mentioned it. Anyone who saw this gym would undoubtedly have the same reaction.
The gym most likely had everything a gym should have. Different state-of-the-art machines were lined up everywhere, and a large mirror was placed on one side of the wall, giving the gym the appearance of a dance studio.
"Are you saying you have all of these to yourself?" I attempted to confirm once more. Because the gym was simply too large for just one person.
"Yup," he replied, popping the 'P.'
"Now enter the gym locker room, where you will find a variety of working out clothes to choose from. We don't have much time, so please dress quickly." I looked at Frederick, perplexed.
"Workout clothes?"
"Yes, indeed. People wear this when they want to train "With a small smile, he raised an eyebrow in question.
"Of course, I understand that, but why do I have to change into workout clothes?" I inquired, still perplexed. My mind had already broken down the situation for me, but I refused to accept it.
"Because, remember, we're training?" He gave me a strange look.
"What exactly are you training me for?" In a hushed tone, I inquired.
"Well, dear Fiancée, I'm going to teach you how to fight." He grinned. I blushed when he called me his fiancée, and I almost forgot about it.
"Can you fight?" I inquired, intrigued.
He sighed in frustration "You have too many questions. Please, for the love of God, go get changed "He said this while pointing in the direction of a hard wooden door.
"Okay, I'm going to have to change. Jeez" I rolled my eyes jokingly and dashed to the door he had indicated. When I entered the locker room, which was surprisingly medium in size given the size of the rest of the house, the first thing I noticed was a variety of hanged female workout clothes in various sizes and colors. Why does he have so many female clothes in his personal gym locker room?
I ignored my thoughts and quickly changed into work out clothes that suited me. Frederick's gaze was drawn to me as soon as I stepped outside. His once-joyous expression had quickly turned to a frown. I also noticed that he had changed from his uniform to training clothes, and he looked great in them!
I'm completely perplexed. I tried to ask him what was wrong, but he cut me off right away.
