Chapter Sixteen; There are rules...

"So what is it?" He enquired more. Dennis wasn't the type that would have given a fuck what she was to do with the money, but for someone who had rejected his offer the day before, but returned the next day all desperate, he needed to know.

"I...

I need...

Need to give...." That was as much as her voice could go, she had stopped her response halfway, but Dennis had completed it for her.

"Give it to someone?"

"Who? a boy?" He asked as he watched her face and noticed she was nodding in agreement.

"Your boyfriend?" He asked as his gaze was still fixed on her.

She didn't say anything, she was probably embarrassed by what she had returned for and most especially, her reason for coming back.

Maybe she wasn't so innocent, maybe she was exactly how he liked them. She was willing to cheat on her boyfriend for money and that answered a bit of his curiosity. She wasn't innocent.

"So you want to cheat on him?"  He asked as he noticed her face Change and he could tell it was a bit of anger.

"This was a mistake, never mind." She furiously got off the bed and headed for the exit.

Why was she always ready to flip? Why did her moods switch like there was a remote control used on her by a certain unseen being? Why did this little woman have so much anger and frustration in her?

"Alright, twenty thousand." He said in agreement before she could get to the exit.

She paused and he knew she was ready to listen.

"But I got rules," he spoke from where he was seated. For some reason, he was almost certain that she wouldn't pull through with this. She couldn't handle him and all his demons, but he gave her the benefit of doubt.

"I'm good at rules,"

Dennis scoffed, before standing to his feet.

"I totally disagree with that," he said standing some inches away from her.

Her back was against his face. She wore a T-shirt that was bigger than her actual size with denim shorts which revealed her thighs and legs.

She turned to find his face in the dim light, she immediately found his face because he only stood a few feet away from her.

"I will keep to your rules," she said with a determined tone as her eyes almost convinced him that he would.

"All my rules?" he asked in almost a whisper staring into her eyes and she, into his.

"Yes..." She responded with a soft and fragile tone.

"Yes sir." He corrected as his gaze narrowed and he hope she caught the correction.

He watched her eyes even get softer before she dropped her gaze to his chest and then to the ground before she swallowed and that showed she understood what he expected from her.

"Y e s...   S i r..." She answered as he saw how unsettling she was with that.

"I can't hear you,"

"Yes sir." She answered this time louder yet her voice had managed to come off even softer and teasing.

"Good girl," he said before moving closer to her, keeping his hands to himself but staring deep into her face.

"Should I undress now?" She asked but he found her question amusing so he began to laugh.

"You need this money with the speed of light huh?" He asked but she didn't say anything, rather, she seemed to find his laughing inappropriate and even embarrassing.

"What has your boyfriend gotten himself into?" He asked still with a little laugh.

"Is he owing Osama bin laden?" He asked as his laughter continued.

"You know what? you can keep your money," she stormed out yet again but this time he had caught up with her. He reached her hands, flipping her around to face him even though she struggled to get away from his grip. But her fragile little self couldn't fight off a man like Dennis Wayne.

She happened to be caught up just by the exit, so yet again, Dennis had her pinned to his door with his body pressing against her.

"Little angry birdie," he said with a smile. Before poking her nose with his free hand. .
