Why was she in that mood?
Why was she in tears?
Dennis wanted to care less, but he only wished. His mood immediately changed, his mind unsettled.
Who caused her pain?
And it better be for a good cause!

Joleen sat there resting on the wall, but drenched in tears, she sniffed, wiping her eyes and nose. She had cried her eyes out and now felt slight relief for the time being.
She needed to get up and get stronger emotionally so she could go to the hospital to stand beside her grandma as she fought strongly against this tumor. Her surgery was next week, so she needed all the emotional strength she could get. She didn't need to sit here wasting any more time, she would spend all her spare time with her grandma. She would be there for her, so if she woke up at any point she would let her know that they would win this battle and that she was doing okay too.
She would visit her grandma more often again, like the time before she got this already snatched away opportunity from Venus. Even though spending time with her grandma was paramount, She still hated how all this went down, but she was grateful that she at least got something out of this. 'Her grandma's bill was covered due to her absurd deal with the devil.' she sniffed again before noticing two pairs of Italian shiny oxford shoes before her.
She looked up to who it was and found the devil himself. The man who swore to make her lose everything and it wasn't just a threat because he had started his promises already. The man who was willing to cut a girl's dream short for something she couldn't control.
She hated him. He only reeked of viciousness and wanted nothing to do with him.
She wiped her face one more time, before standing to her feet.
She was shambled, broken, and hopeless, but he didn't need to see it. She wouldn't give him the satisfaction he dearly desired.
The question 'How much has he seen?' now popped into her mind. Did he see her when she entered here? Did he witness her break down?
She didn't care regardless, she just knew that as long she still lived, she would never again let him see her weak.
She stood to her feet and immediately tried to move past him without making any more eye contact.
He blocked her before she noticed him glare at her with a frown and a furrow on his forehead. She Ignored him, then tried to move to the other side, but he immediately moved to that other side, preventing her passage.
Her eyes were red and swollen, her emotions all over the place. Joleen now shut her eyes before swallowing hard. Another stream of tears welled around her eyes as she felt frustrated.
"Let me go," she spoke as her eyes were still shut.
She didn't notice him move so she was forced to open her eyes. She saw him looking down at her and very unmoved by her request.
