Chapter Twenty
"I can't resist you too that's why I closed my eyes because if my eyes are opened, our lips will probably still be on each other now" Ruby said hanging her hands on his neck while he pressed her butt softly.
"You know another thing? Your hips is driving me insane" Richard said
" I know, I've got crazy tiny curves" she replied and bit his ear

"What?'" Ruby asked
"There's something on your hair" Richard said and brought his hand to her hair. He rested it at the back of her head and drew her closer, kissing her endlessly as that's exactly what they've been doing for almost the day.

On a cool Saturday, Ruby, Richard, Jane and Julius decided to spend some time together as friends at a vacation site and Albert begged Julius to tag along which he accepted even though Richard was totally against it. When they arrived, the ladies decide to swim and Ruby brought out her swim suit which Richard complained about being to sexy and revealing but she cajoled him into allowing her wear the outfit.
On the other hand, Andrew also was at the vacation site to pass time untill he sighted Ruby heading towards the pool, then he began to follow her. When Richard spotted what was going on, he kept a close watch on Andrew untill he started moving closer towards Ruby and Richard couldn't bear it any longer and he sprang in action.
“That crazy butt” Andrew thought, imagining all sort of things like touching it in his head
“You’re just dead” Richard thought and Ruby was oblivious of what’s happening, she just kept walking towards the pool
“Hello an ambulance is needed here at Suncell vacation site” Julius said over the phone
"The crazy dude really called an ambulance" Albert said laughing.
Andrew finally got to Ruby and wanted touching her butt directly but Richard held his hand
“Don’t you dare touch her you bastard, how dare you” Richard spat and Immediately punched Andrew on the face which resulted to a bruise on the lips immediately as he fell then Richard came on top of him and punched him repeatedly.
Ruby can’t believe her eyes, too surprised
“Richard stop it” she called and he looked up
“Just permit me teach this idiot a lesson. He attenpted to touch what’s mine” Richard said and continued punching Andrew untill his face was full of blood.
“If anyone makes any video, he or she will go home with an incomplete set of teeth” Albert said
Everyone knows him, he’s not a random guy and he meant every word so no body made any video.
“You know I warned you that the third confrontation won’t be nice. So you only wanted her body right? Now listen to me you freaking animal, she’s my wife to be so if you love yourself, stay far away from her I mean very far away” Richard said, giving Andrew the last punch before grabbing Ruby's hand immediately to a corner.
Shortly, an ambulance arrived immediately and Julius clapped
“Just in time, here’s your customer” he said, gesturing at Andrew who’s still on the ground. He was carried into the ambulance and Albert kept scanning for anyone who’ll take pictures, maybe he’ll do a part two with the person but no one did
“You’re unserious Julius” Janet laughed.
“I know Richard, he doesn’t joke with what’s his own, he’s possessive and overprotective, so I know what he can do” he replied.
At the secluded corner Richard dragged Rubby to, she was pleading with him
”I’m sorry” Ruby said trying to make Richard look at her but he looked looking elsewhere, breathing heavily
“Richard please look at me” she said holding his cheeks but he still won’t budge
“I’m sorry for not listening to you” she said again and he finally looked at her.
“Mon Cherie, I’m sorry for not listening to you earlier when you Instructed me not to wear that outfit because it's provocative. ’ll listen to you from now on please baby” She said again.
”Ruby, you’ve got dangerous tiny curves, and I told you not to do it, but"
“I know I’m at fault but can you please calm down?” She said, rubbing his cheeks while he inhaled hard and closed his eyes
”Darling” she said, kissing him lightly then he opened his eyes and held her waist
“I just love you so much and I don’t want anyone touching even your smallest finger talkless of the butt I’m dying for” he said.
”It was my butt he attempted to touch?” She said.
“Let’s forget about it Mi Querida” Richard said slowly caressing her butt from behind.

When it was evening, people began leaving the site to their respective destinations and the place was becoming boring as
Albert left after the fight and Janet left almost immediately, refusing Julius dropping her off because she thinks he loves another person.
Richard and Ruby were among the last set of people to leave the place as he dropped her at her house and ensured to kiss her before letting her go in and he drove home too.
When Ruby entered the house, she saw Janet in a sad mood
“Did anyone die?” Ruby asked
“More like it, Julius has a girl he likes” she replied
“Oh really?’
”Yes, believe me. He told me himself that he’ll confess to her on Valentine’s day which is on Sunday like you know” she replied sadly.
Ruby dropped her bag and sat in front of her on the bed holding held her hand
" But what if the girl he’s talking about is you” Ruby asked
” Why?”
”Because to me, Julius doesn’t seem like a random guy who plays with the heart of girls. If he doesn’t like you, then why is he always wanting to eat lunch with you?,Why is he always calling you? Janet please, i don’t think you should be sulking yet let’s just wait till Sunday” Ruby encouraged her
” Ok, I’ll wait then thanks bestie” she replied and hugged her.
”By the way, you have a possessive Romeo. My God, he punched Andrew like he was his punching bag” Janet said.
” I know right? But Andrew deserves it. Do you know where he attempted to touch?, My ass something that belongs to only Richard” Ruby said and Janet laughed
”How cute. By the way, after the whole paparazzi, what did you two go inside that conner to do?” Janet asked
”Must I always tell you everything? get away” Ruby said, getting off the bed
“Let me guess, his right hand on your butt, left hand on your breast, his lips on your lips
“Stop it Janet!!!” Ruby interrupted Janet by screaming and jumping on her on the bed
The next day, Albert heaved a sigh when he got to Richard's house.
He actually trekked because he didn't feel like driving and he doesn’t want any body to drive him that’s why he came maybe he’ll drive with Richard to work.
He brought out a pack of cigarettes from his chest pocket and was about to light it then he remembered Richard's words
”Danm it” he said returning it and Richard came out immediately
“Bro” he said without realizing and Albert smiled
“What are you doing here?” Richard asked
“Getting grumpy again, ok can I drive with you to work?” He asked
”The last time I checked, you have up to ten cars” Richard replied
“I don’t want to drive and I don’t want my driver to so let your driver drive us together” he replied
”You’re just annoying” Richard said
”I know right. By the way what’s that red stain on your shirt?” Albert asked, sighting a red stain in form of a spot on his white shirt.
Richard looked at it and the thing moved from his right chest to his left chest and immediately Albert's eyes looked over his face in shock
"It’s a damn danger light from a gun" Albert exclaimed
“Oh God” Albert said and took only few steps to cover Richard and the bullet hit his back.
The next day,
Richard went to the police station to get response about the incident that transpired and also find out if the suspect has said a word about it. Richard earlier reported the matter to the police station and he mentioned Andrew as a suspect because they had a confrontation and it didn't go well on Andrew's part so he felt like Andrew was responsible for the ordeal to get back at him.
“Mr Richard, we got nothing from him, he kept saying he wasn't the one, and from his movements that day and two days before, it’s just from his house to work, no suspicious moves or calls, even from his call history” the detective said.
Richard actually met with him in the station
“So?”
“I think he’s innocent” the detective said and Richard roughed his hair
”Then who would it be?” Richard asked frustratedly
”Maybe another enemy you aren’t thinking of” the detective replied.
Richard drove back to the office in deep thoughts
”Who’s the enemy, just who’s it?” He wondered as he arrived at the company and met Ruby in his office
“Baby you look worried, is anything the matter?” Ruby asked, coming to him
”Andrew seems to be innocent and I don't know anyone to blame again” he said
”Could it be Valerie, no It can’t be her. But we can’t trust anyone and she seems desperate” Ruby thought
”Bae” Richard called
”Yes" she replied sharply, waking up from her thoughts
“What were you thinking of?” Richard asked
“Absolutely nothing and lest I forget, i ordered snacks for lunch” Ruby said gesturing at his table were there were different snacks and drinks.
“How thoughtful, let’s eat” he said taking her hand as he sat on his seat while he made her sit on his laps
“Wait we can’t eat like this” she said
“Says who?” Richard asked
”Nobody, just that
“Quit worrying and eat” he said
“It’s uncomfortable, I’ll be imagining all sorts of scenes in my head instead of eating peacefully” Ruby said and stood from his laps as he started laughing
” I knew it” he said, laughing hysterically as she sat on a chair across him
“Pervert” she pouted
“You’re the real pervert here” he replied and she threw a biscuit at him but he doged it
“I hate you” she said
“Love you more” he replied and winked while she shrugged
“It’s Valentine’s day on Sunday” he said, smiling widely
”Yes I know” she replied
”Have you ever had a memorable Val’s day before” Richard asked
” No, I've always celebrated Val alone at home, watching the stars” Ruby replied
”Don’t worry, it’ll be different this year” he said
”What do you mean?”
”Don’t worry” he replied munching a meatpie.
“I get curious a lot” she said
“Plead with your curiousity to calm down” he replied drinking from a bottle of juice
”No I won't” she said
“Then should we celebrate our own Val today?” He said
“No”
“Then wait. How impatient” he said then she smiled as he stood and went to the door locking it from behind. He came back to her and pushed her chair backward so he’ll have space to stand in front of her then he placed his hands on her chair arm and smiled
“What?” She asked
“Keep quiet” he said undoing the muffler in front of her shirt and her heart skipped a beat when he finished undoing it as she was left alone with just her white bra.
He once told her she looks extra hot in white bras, that’s why he ordered the maids to get much of it for her.
He took off her shirt from her body and placed his lips on hers, kissing her deeply but not for long as he broke it and carried her on the table, going in between her legs.
