Paige needed his money. There were lots of bills to be paid and there was her childhood memory that needed to be secured. It was way more than her.
But, she was scared of living in the same house with Simon. The Kentley's were amazing. But, what about the whole feelings piled up inside her. Love was obviously the last thing on her mind.

"Do you still have a boyfriend?"
The only excuse you gave for not wanting to feel it was your boyfriend. Is the excuse still valid?"

"Ahhhh," came the moan from Paige.

"Shhhh, you don't want to disturb the people behind those doors. He said.



A Crazy Kind Of Love

"She want to start up a fashion Business. She ran the business through with me yesterday and it was a great idea. She need capital to enable her start up." Veronica blurted out shamelessly.

"I gave her almost two months of my salary just a month ago when she said she wanted to start a beauty shop. What the fuck happened to my money and the beauty shop?"

"Watch your language Paige. Don't mess my daughter's head up with your foul language."

"Oh please" Paige blurted out with sarcasm.

"If you must know the beauty shop didn't work out. And we ended up using the remaining money which was not much by the way for our upkeep. Did you forget that you gave us few penny for upkeep during that period." Veronica said calmly.

"Ma, I do not have any money. I'm barely surviving for God's sake." Paige lamented.

"What about the remaining money from your three months Contract?" Fernanda asked immediately. Which made Paige shoot her a look with piercing daggers in her eyes.

"Fe, are serious right now. So, you'd expect me to work for three months and give you everything I got from the job? You and Ma are already taking more than half of my total income with your freaking list. Now you want all? Seriously? You want me to slave for you?"

"That's enough Paige! You will help your sister. You went to school under my roof and I supported you the best way I can even though you choose to say otherwise. You must help your sister." Veronica maintained.

"To set the record straight ma, I went to school under my father's roof and I literally worked my ass off to pay for my education. You never gave me a dime. In fact, you frustrated my efforts when you have the time. So don't cajole me into spending my sweat and money on your daughter who have refused to go out there and look for a Job to sustain herself. I've had enough of it all!!" Said Paige.

"Oh wow, the sheep finally bleat. That's not an issue. I already arranged the documents to the house. I guess I'll have to sell it then. Cause Fe can't continue staying at home." Veronica replied smiling mischievously.

"You know what? Do whatever pleases you. Let's see who will turn homeless in a couple of months when you must have squandered all the money you got from the Sales. Cause as for me, I've got no money. "

Paige said and stormed out of the House. Finally she was able to say her mind and she  stood up for herself. First off, she needed to talk to Stefan. Then start packing her things. There was no asking. She was going to take the offer. She needed the money badly. Not just to offset her step mum's bills but she was thinking of buying the house from them. She was not yet sure of how to go about it. But she knew having the money was a start.

"Hopefully, they won't sell off the house before I back."

She murmured as she stepped into her portable Kia car. Though not one of the best or greatest cars ever, but it always serve it's purpose. That is literally what a car is meant for anyway. To serve it's purpose. Not for beautification.
