AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Hey lovelies, someone reached out to me and asked who my favorite character is in the story. I told her 'Paige'. But she said it should be Anna. Do you agree with her? You can share your view with us via the review section.
Meanwhile, I know most of you complained about the update. I'm so sorry that I'm dropping a chapter each day. Right now, it's actually beyond my control. But I promise to be consistent with the update of a chapter daily while I work on releasing more chapters. Thank you for sticking around.

June drove into the Kentley's Mansion with her new bodyguard. Once inside the compound, she was helped out of her gorgeous glossy black Porsche by the bodyguard who stood still as a brick while she slowly came down from the car. Standing beside the car, one wouldn't help but admire her beauty. Her tall slender figure can easily get her mistaken for a top model. She had on a green flared trouser paired with a bogus pink top which was well stocked into the trouser, a black sunglasse, a yellow, pink and green stripped scarf was wrapped from her hair to the sides of her face and tied under her jaw, a green mini bag to match her trouser and finally a pink sling back shoe to compliment her perfect outfit. She was looking like a full bag of money and no one would argue that. She adjusted her purse to her right hand slightly displaying her perfectly polished fingers. She then made her way inside the mansion alongside her bodyguard with Sherman opening the door for her and bowing slightly to greet when she walked up to the porch. "Thank you." She said flashing a charming smile at him.
"June!" Paige who just climbed down the stairs and was about heading to the garden exclaimed as she saw her.
"Oh Paige honey." June called as both women wrapped each other up in a hug.
"I never knew you were coming. Does every one know?" She asked.
"No, it's a surprise. I didn't tell anybody. I wanted to surprise you all. June said happily.
"It's so lovely to have you back home. We've missed you so much. Who's this?" She asked pointing at June's new bodyguard.
"That's my new bodyguard." She replied. "Make yourself comfortable outside Jude, the others will tell you what to do." She said to the guard who nodded and left the ladies. "I've missed you so much Paige." June started. "You know what? I'll just quickly check up on Emily and my sister. Then, I'll come see you later let's do some catching up."
"Okay," Paige replied. "I'll be at the garden."
"Alright." June replied and left for her sister's room while Paige left for the garden. Once she arrived Anna's room. She knocked softly on the door and entered. Anna was immediately alarmed when she saw her sister.
"June!" She exclaimed. "Is everything okay. Did something happen?" She asked worried. June removed her sunglasses. She flung her purse on the bed, removed her shoe abd started pacing round the room.
"You haven't heard the news have you?" She asked her sister. "There was a shoot out. Dasilver, he's gone and there are some bodies too. Tell me my brother is home please." She whispered the last line almost inaudibly. Anna shaked her head in reply.
"He did it?" June asked with fear.
"Yes."
"Is he okay then?" She asked again.
"I don't know June, I don't know." Anna replied.
"Can't you call him or something? His personal line isn't going through. There must be something else we can reach him with. What if he's....."
"He's fine. I prefer to believe that. And I can't call him. Not when it's not up to twenty four hours. Those are his rules. And he said there'll always be someone to notify us if anything happens to him in such cases. So no, I can't call him J." Anna replied.
"This ain't enough reason. Fine, give me the number to call. He gave those instructions to you not me." June said in a shaky voice. "Na, I had to take one of Alfred's most trusted guards while coming here today. I am so scared sister. Please tell me Si will be okay."
"It's okay, come here." Anna called her sister for a hug. Both siblings hugged each other tenderly with June now sobbing. "Simon will be fine. He can't leave us all alone." Anna reassured her.
"You don't know that! You don't know that Anna. Stop saying that to me. I am not twelve anymore." June said sobbing uncontrollably and disengaging from her sister's hug.
"Shhhhh." Someone might hear you. It's okay." Anna said in a hush tone.
"Where is Emily?" She asked clearing her tears with the back of her hand.
"In her room, having her beauty sleep. Go freshen up then come right back and stay with me. He'll be fine." Anna said. June untied her scarf, removed her clothes and heads to Anna bathroom. "I meant you should freshen up in your room." Anna said.
"No way, I'm not staying alone even for a second." June said laughing nervously. She entered the bathroom and left the door open. "Keep talking!" She shouted at Anna who bursted into laughter.
"So much for a strong woman." Anna said.

SIMON'S LAKEVIEW APARTMENT.
Simon drove into his Lakeview apartment with his guards already in position. They all splitted out after the invasion to avoid drawing unecessary attention to themselves. His car was the last to arrive home. He rushed into the shower and took a cold bath. The shoot out was better than he had anticipated. He didn't loose any of his men but there were few injured ones. It was a well planned invasion courtesy of himself and Charles. Nobody was spared. He stepped out of the bathroom still dripping. He immediately took his phone and dialed his sister's number.
"Hey." He said.
"Hey Si, you're good?" Anna asked.
"As always. I will see you tomorrow. He replied.
Anna breath a sigh of relief. " I love you brother." She said.
"I wish I can say same. All I can say is you're a pain in my ass." The siblings laughed happily.
"I'll see you soon." Anna said and hung up.
Facing the computer screen, he went through the CCTV footage of his Lakeview apartment. All the recordings during his absence. He saw Melissa, the escort he struck a deal with for a month but ended up extending it to two months. They were in the month of October and it was ending tomorrow. Yet, he has no plan for her replacement nor further extension of her services. He already told his sister that he wanted to give therapy anothet trial. But he wasn't really sure if it was something he could do.
He checked Melissa's previous activities. She was allowed access to virtually everything in the secret or hidden part of the house but never allowed outside the building. Her movement was restricted to her bedroom and few other rooms with high walls and windows just like the one she was in. This prevents her from knowing where she is. He put on a black slack leaving his chest bare then he walked down to his private room. He got to his study and pushed the bookshelf to the side and as usual exposing the door that led to his private or secret rooms. He unlocked the door and walked into the long corridor which led to the other rooms that Melissa was allowed access to.
He knocked softly on her door when he got to it. The door was opened by Melissa who had just her pant on. She stepped to the side and allowed him in with a heartwarming smile. "Why do I feel you've been waiting for me." He asked her stepping into the room.
"Because our souls might be speaking to each other. I waited for you for days. I might have lost track of time." She told him.
"There's a calendar over there." He pointed towards the calendar on a side table beside the wall and a walk clock too. And I'm so sure you still have your phone. This is a television behind you too. He pointed. " There is also another television at the sitting room opposite your room. Why would you loose track of time then?" He asked her.
Melissa smiled awkwardly seeing that he wasn't having it. "The month ends tomorrow. Have you thought about us yet? I want to remain here with you." She said drawing closer to him with her bare nipples pointing directly at him. "I want us, I want to be there for you." She said in the most sexual manner she could.
"Why don't you show me what you've got for me today. Who knows, I might get to reconsider." He replied.
"You haven't been coming home as often as you use to. I've been worried." She said tracing her fingers on his bare chest as they stood facing each other. "I taught you were searching for my replacement." She confessed but got no reply from Simon who instead went to one of the shelves on the wall. He opened a box inside it and took out a soft velvet padded handcuff and a simple black satin blindfold.
He walked up to her in silence while Melissa faced the bed. She knew he was up to something and somehow, she didn't want turn towards his direction. She wanted him to surprise her. So, she waited in anticipation.
