Chapter 77: Paige-Frankie

Great!." Said Frankie. "I'll go see her." He said and walked past his brother to the house. Just then Fe spotted Fiona with one of the guests. Her shoe was the only thing that caught his attention. It was a  shiny gold glitters sandal, same as the one the one he saw while hiding earlier.

Franklin walked up to Paige's room and waited for her to open the door after pressing the doorbell. Barely seconds later, Paige was at the door staring at him wide eyed. "Frankie." She called happy that he was finally done with Business.

"Hey princess." Frankie called with a warm smile. "Can I come in?" He asked.

"Sure, please come in." She replied opening the door wide enough for him.

Frankie stepped into the low lit and sparkly room. Just like Sarah Tedson instructed, the grey curtains and furniture covers have been changed to peach and deep blue to compliment each other. "Do you like the room? This was all we could achieve within such a short notice." He asked.

"The room is so lovely." She replied. "Thank you so much. Please sit." She told him as she sat on the second empty chair in the room.

Frankie sat down comfortably and turned to her. "Fe said you sounded tired and exhausted and you wanted to relax and sleep maybe." He said. "You don't look tired to me though." He added.

"Really." She said blushing with unease. "I am honestly tired. Plus I was feeling chilly due to the wind."

"My family is still out there, so are their guests." He reminded her. "You know what, this shouldn't be a problem." He said tapping her on the thigh gently. I can lend you one of my jackets." He added.

Paige stifled a laughter but when she saw that Frankie was being serious as he didn't as much as shift a facial muscle, she adjusted her facial expression immediately. "I'm tired Frankie." She said in a pleading voice. "Maybe tomorrow, we'll continue. I can still bond with your family over breakfast or later in the day. But right now, I'd really love to rest." She calmly insisted.

Franklin kept calm for a while fighting the urge to pull her up and force her to follow him back to the garden. Frankie was a type of man that see Paige's insistence on staying indoor as disrespectful. To him, a woman should be willing to stand by her man no matter what. Though they were not officially an item, the fact still remain that she came on his invitation. So, the right and most reasonable thing to do was to stay out there till the party comes to an end, not coming inside to sleep! Like was she invited to come and sleep. After few deep breaths, he finally put up a smiling face. "Fine, If you need rest, then you should get some." He said. "I will explain to my parents. Do you need help with anything?" He asked.

"No, I think I'm good." She replied.

"Okay then," he said standing I'll just go back to the party. I'll check back on you much later to know how you're feeling."

"Okay," she replied standing up as well. "Please wait, I think I might need a little help with my zip." She said in a soft tone turning her back to him and pulling her hair to her clavicle.

Franklin turned to face her back and heaved a sigh out of excitement. Slowly, he started opening her dress catching sight of the delicate skin on her back. "You're beautiful." He exclaimed before he could hold back the statement.

"Thank you." She replied shyly.

When he was done with the zip, he traced a tiny line on her back with one of his finger. The sensation made Paige shiver and she immediately turned to him. "Thank you." She said. "I'll see you later?" He nodded and made his way out of her room. Once outside, he placed his finger to his face and smiled loudly.

Once Frankie left, Paige went through the wardrobes and saw several sleepwear and clothes she might decide to wear casually or outside. She brought placed one of the sleepwears on the bed and entered the bathroom for a quick shower.
