You're welcome to sit wherever you wish to Darling." She told him curving her lips into a seductive line. Simon sat beside her and both elevated their legs on the foot rest which was regulated to have the height slightly lower than the bed. "Let's make a toast, to togetherness, happiness and love." Paige said raising her glass.
"And more love." Simon added as the glasses clicked together. "I'm sorry for my aunt's outburst earlier." He apologized. "I really do not know why she keep behaving this way. She's been like this for years, never letting go of a past that took place so many years ago." He said taking a sip of his wine.
"Hmm, it's really not so easy for everyone. People grieve differently. How were you able to let go of the past and move forward. You experienced these things first hand, how did you do it. How were you able to forgive and move past it?" She asked him.
Simon went silent for a while as he tried to put his thoughts together. "It was therapy and love from family." He finally said. "I had lots of therapy as a teenager. Several therapy sessions if I must say. Also, I was open to forgiveness. I didn't harden my heart. That should be one of the reasons therapy worked. You can only save someone that need saving you know." Simon said.
"How much of those did you have, the therapy session." Paige asked with keen interest.
"A lot Sunflower. I can't remember how many cause I lost count. I had so many therapy sessions. From bereavement therapy to anger management to behavioural therapy specifically for stress, anxiety and depression. Shit was so real. I was a total disaster back then. But I never kept those hate and anger bottled up. I opened up myself and allowed the healing I needed to come. I can't live the rest of my life bitter and I don't expect her to do same." He said.
Paige kept her glass on the bare floor towards her left. She encircled her hand on Simon's arm with a smile. "Your Aunt need therapy as well. She need all the help she can get. She is still mourning her sister and she is finding it difficult to let go and is obviously angry that others have moved on. She must have loved her sister so much. I don't know what they share but whichever bond they share, it must be so strong. She might be willing to let go but she need extra help to do that. I don't think she can do it on her own." She explained leaning on his shoulder.
Simon smiled dryly as he took another sip of his wine. "You sound like one of my therapist back then." He gave out a short laughter. "She was so good with speech and I always feel the impact of her words in my head. You just made so much sense. I never considered nor thought of any of these before now." He said rubbing his forehead. "I will speak to her first thing tomorrow morning. I will help get a very good therapist for her if she is ever open to it." He said caressing her cheek with his right hand. "Thank you for taking care of my mother like she's yours. It felt so good watching you read a story to them."
"You were watching us from behind? I never knew." Paige laughed. "So you saw me barking like a dog." She laughed even more.
"No baby, I saw you roaring like a lion."
"Oh, that's worst." She exclaimed laughing. "Ahha, while you were away, I visited the balcony." She said to him remembering her last visit to the balcony.
Simon looked at her and offered her a drink from his glass which she accepted. "You finally visited the balcony and you chose to the do that while I was away. I actually pleaded with you continuously to try making use of it while I was around. That is really not fair if you ask me." Simon said to her.
"We could go there right now. If we are up to it. I feel like I need some chilly air on my skin. We could continue our wine over there." Paige suggested handing his glass of wine to him.
"Our wine really. I've been the one drinking the wine. You've barely tasted any." He said.
Paige placed her mouth close to his ear, her left hand on the bed to help her with balance and her right hand on his chest. "Stop complaining and follow me." She whispered seductively into his ears tracing tiny lines on the fabric of his shirt. She finally stood up from the bed. Picking up her glass of wine which was previously kept on the bare floor, she started towards the door that led to the balcony. Her tiny waist wiggled causing her ass to bounce softly under the soft palazzo short she had on. Simon quickly stood up and opened the door. Picking up the wine and his glass, he joined her at the balcony. The fresh and chilly air heavily influenced by the presence of the Gmelina tree carassed their skin. "See, this is so beautiful." She said out loud gulping down her glass of wine and dropping the empty cup on one of the tables. She moved over to the rail looking down at the beautiful garden at the back of the house.
"It is." Simon replied. "You should see it on a full moon, the beauty......" He placed his glass and the remaining bottle of wine on the same table then proceeded to fill the glasses with wine again. He handed her own to her and took a sip of his, joining her at the rail. Without warning Paige gulped down the content of her glass and handed the empty glass to Simon.
"Can you be so kind to fill my glass please." She asked.
Simon took the empty glass from her and dropped it on the table. "You've had enough for the night he said. "We don't want you drunk." He went back to the rail and placed his arm round her waist unconsciously
"I want to do crazy things tonight Simon. So I want more wine." She said turning to the side to catch a glimpse of his face. Once she caught his gaze, she couldn't stop staring. Same applied to Simon
"How crazy?" Simon asked as she leaned closer to his face. He felt her breath on his cheeks and realized that they were just few inches apart from each other. "What do you want to do Sunflower?" He asked with a deep baritone that sounded so smooth and soft to the ear. With their new position, he adjusted his arm on her waist.
Paige who was still staring at him placed her left hand on his shoulder and with the right, she drew his face closer to hers. "I a.m h.o.r.n.y Darling." She said looking straight at him and smiling erotically. "What are we going to do about it?" She asked using one of her legs to cross over one of his..
