Act 8

The three who exploring the forest.

After we go out from the mansion, we walk past the small garden that was at the back of the mansion. By following this path we can go to the lake Yiwa where the party were but we are exploring the forest today, the lake can wait tomorrow.

"It is nice to do this sometimes, take a walk with your lover to enjoy the scenery." Ian joke.

"So this lover of yours, who is it. Because it certainly not me and if you want to say that it was May then I am not approving this relationship." I reply Ian. *smirk*

"Brother please don't misunderstood us, we are not dating and beside I have my own type." May say while looking at me with her puppy eyes.

"What's wrong with being my lover May? Did I lack something in your eyes?" Ian feels betrayed by what May just said.

Me and May laugh so hard looking at Ian expression. "It is a joke but in reality I am not going to date you even if you ask me." May say, she still laugh at Ian. "I don't want to compete with my brother." May smirk looking at me.

I was stunned with what she say. "Excuse me lady, what did you just say." I look at her.

"Aww. . . Such a sweet little sister, don't worry I will treat your brother better." Ian smile at May.

I turn my head toward Ian. I pinch Ian at his waist. My face was so red form embarrassment hearing this two friend of mine teasing me.

"Babe, not in front of May. We can do it after we go back to the mansion." Ian rubbing his waist trying to ease the pain from me pinching him. He walk so fast to get away from me.

"IAN!!!" I scream, I can feel that my face was already so red. May was laughing so hard beside me.

Me and Ian are not in that kind of relationship, I never have a thought of dating him. I don't know if Ian has a feeling for me, I never ask him but I am not against us dating if he ever wanted to. He just need to be honest and tell me. *sigh*.

Ian suddenly stop walking, I didn't notice him stop because I was thinking of something unnecessary in my head. My nose hurt as I bump into something that was hard. "What the. . . " I look up then notice that it was Ian back. May was giggling when she caught the sight of me bumping at Ian back. I blush hard.

"I am sorry but look at that." Ian point to the direction on our right, there is this area that have a lot piles of rubble. Some of it was still standing, maybe it was a wall before it crumble.

"Brother," May hold my arm tightly. "It's heavy."

I release May hand on my arm then I place my hand around her waist to support her from falling. I also feel heavy in this area but as I have learn a lot about this special ability from my grandmother, I know what need to be done on a situation like this. "Ian please help me to hold her, I need to go there. I want to know what is this actually that make May and me like this." Ian help me to hold on May.

As I go near the piles of rubble, every time that I take a step this heavy feeling keep getting stronger. After I reach the place, I notice that there was a door half cover by a rubble. This door was lock and coil with a clothes, I try to touch the cloth but a hand was suddenly block me from touching it.

I raise my head and what I saw was a child. He shake his head as a signal to not touch the cloth, I nodded. "I am sorry, I will not touch it but can you tell me what is this. Also what is behind this door" I ask the child.

He hold my pinky finger, he take me back to where my two friends was. While on our way he told me this "Hello priest, all of us have been waiting for you and your friend to came here. This door is actually leading down to a basement, behind this there was a devil that was sealed here hundred years ago. His body was burn while his ash was seal in an urn by a priest but as the time past, the seal weakened. The priest aren't strong enough to kill the devil, he can only seal it. We ended up cutting the holy tree to made a medium strong enough to contain the devil, we carve the holy scripture on the ground inside the basement to support the holy tree. The lock on the door were also supported by a cloth that was blessed by the priest, if the door was unlock and the holy scripture carving fade then the devil will be freed once again."

My pinky finger feels cold. I was shock after hearing this information, I am scared. "What will happen if the devil was released?" I ask the child.

"A massacre will happen, all of the people here will died including you." the child say.

After hearing this, I suddenly lost all strength in my legs. I flop down to the ground, I didn't even realize that I was crying. Ian put May down to the ground then he hurried to my side, he hug me tightly.

"Sean, what happen?. What did you see?" Ian was so worried that he saw me suddenly fall and crying on the ground. I hug Ian tightly and only cried, I didn't reply him.

"Don't worry as it will not happen, the seal can still last for about twenty years. Only if no one enter the basement but if the worst happen then the one who can solve this, is the two of you. Only when the two of you realize your power true potential, then you can kill the devil." The child continue.

May was trembling when hearing this, what will they do?. They can only pray that there's no one who is so stupid as to unlock the basement. Beside, me and May didn't know what power is this child are talking about, yes we are special but we certainly don't have any power.
