The clinic was very quiet, the soft sounds of two shallow breaths interwoven together.
Nian Yuyu looked at the cast enveloping her left arm and only felt it heavy and somewhat uncomfortable.
Chu You took out a blue bandage and gently lifted Nian Yuyu's plastered left arm.
"Do I need to keep my arm elevated?" Nian Yuyu slightly furrowed her brow.
"Yes," Chu You said with slow movements, helping her put on the bandage, "This helps promote blood circulation. You can take it off when you sleep at night."
Nian Yuyu looked down at it, "It's ugly, and it's a bit uncomfortable."
"The weather isn't hot right now, so wearing a cast isn't that uncomfortable." Chu You washed his hands and then helped her tidy some stray hair from her forehead, patiently coaxing her, "It doesn't look bad at all, you'll heal quickly."
Nian Yuyu didn't speak anymore; the thought of having to suspend her arm for a month made her feel utterly dispirited.
