Second Provincial Hospital, Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The elderly, white-haired but sprightly traditional Chinese medicine doctor was discussing Nian's father's gout, while Chu You stood seriously listening behind Nian's father.
Suddenly, his cell phone in his pocket began to vibrate. He took it out for a glance, and the coolness in his eyes immediately softened.
"Uncle, it's Yuyu's call," Chu You said, bending slightly towards Nian's father.
He also nodded politely to the director of traditional Chinese medicine across the room, "Excuse me, Director Qin, I need to take this call."
The old doctor, known as Director Qin, waved his hand, and Nian's father also nodded to Chu You.
Chu You stepped out of the consulting room with his phone and answered the call with a warm voice, "Yuyu, have you arrived at the hospital?"
In the ward, Nian Yuyu sat in a chair, unconsciously grinding the floor with her toes. Hearing Chu You's words, she obediently responded, "Mhm."
