Chunhua Garden.
Nian's mother was busily instructing Yuyu to wash the vegetables.
Upon hearing the doorbell ring, Yuyu didn't even have time to wipe her hands and immediately ran out of the kitchen.
"I'll get the door."
When the door opened, Chu You stood at the threshold, his hands full of items.
Seeing him, Yuyu looked as if she had seen her savior.
The tiny grudge she harbored from when he playfully teased her that morning with the milk disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"Come on in." She greeted him with a bright smile, very hospitable, reaching out with her wet hands to take the things Chu You was carrying.
Chu You dodged her outstretched hands, "It's heavy, I've got it."
Yuyu didn't give up; she still politely got him slippers and didn't forget to shout towards the kitchen, "Chu You's here."
Nian's father and mother came out of the kitchen and upon seeing all the things Chu You had bought, casually chided him a bit.
