well I read the first 20 chapters. we get very little background as to why the female lead is estranged from her mother or her father's character. it's a stereotypical plot where the biological mother is blackmailing her to marry a disabled man. the disabled man is obviously not really disabled. in a 20 chapters a female lead is humiliated and insulted by the male lead abused by her family abused by his family almost raped by his family insulted a bit more by the male lead. for some reason which made me laugh out loud her sister who she is substituting for gets a package that says welcome to the world of AIDS which is a spooky Elementary School / Junior High School cautionary Tale that I haven't heard since I was like 13. you know the type. my brother knows someone whose neighbor blah blah blah. there's no character development in 20 chapters. not that I expect much. but I expect a bit more than comedically falling repeatedly on someone's crotch while being verbally abused. overall I have to say that this book didn't do much to grab my attention in 20 chapters aside from being ridiculous. it's not something I would want to spend my money on going forward

can't say much as only 15chapters are free which surprising, how do you get people vested in it when you have not understood anything? Rushing to monetise it not sure it is a good strategy.
I read the first couple of chapters, and I knew that this would be trash. And I was proved right as I continued. The plotline is cliche and boring, and so many one-dimensional characters.
