A week had passed since my birth and the unsettling encounter with my father, Geris Ashborne. However, amidst the chaos and confusion of my new life within the mansion, I discovered a glimmer of hope in the form of my retained magical powers from my past life.
To my surprise, I learned that my magical abilities were not confined within my body, but rather, I could harness the magical particles that surrounded me as if the were mine. I spent countless hours studying, making use of the stillness of the night when the rest of the mansion lay asleep.
As I delved deeper into my memories, I discovered that my past self, a Sage, and the events of that time was already over 200 years ago. I marveled at the idea that I had been granted a second chance at life, with all my previous knowledge and experience still intact.
But my discoveries didn't stop there. I soon learned that my father, Geris Ashborne, held the esteemed position of Archduke in the Klamut Kingdom - second only to the Royal Family. He was a skilled general who led the kingdom's forces in expanding its territory through conquest, he got the title of "Silver Lion", this guy doesn't have high magic powers like mine but he is ruthless in the battlefield using his body strengthening abilities.
As for my mother, she had once been a sorceress who had fallen in love with Geris after he saved her from a vicious troll attack during her teenage years, she is fairly skilled and has a high standing in the adventurer's guild.
Suddenly, my mother Hera interrupted my thoughts. "Are you hungry, Pitt? I hope you and your father can bond greatly! I know he can be serious at times, but he has a soft spot for people who are strong. I wish for you to become a strong person, my dear." She smiled at me, hoping that I would develop a good relationship with my father. But I couldn't bring myself to agree with her. That man was far too intimidating for me, and I simply wanted to return to my former glory in peace.
A few hours later, we could see the Ashborne estate in the distance. It looked magnificent from afar, bustling and lively. The atmosphere was not as intimidating as I thought it would be. It seemed my father was good at governing his lands. I hoped to learn a lot about the current history while I stayed here.
