Bonnie is sleeping in Jeremy's bed. Jeremy is looking at her and hears the front door.

Jeremy: Elena?

Bonnie wakes up and they rush out the door. Elena is going up the stairs. Bonnie rushes over to her and embraces her.

Jeremy: Are you okay?

Elena: I'm okay. I'm okay.

{Jenna took a breath of relief seeing Elena safe and so did all of the mystic gang.}

She looks at Bonnie.

Elena: I got your message.

Bonnie cries and embraces her again. Then, Jeremy embraces her and kisses her neck.

{The mystic gang smiles at the screen while the others looked on bored.}

Salvatore Boarding House

Damon is pouring himself a glass of scotch and drinks it. Stefan arrives.

Damon: Where's Elena?

Stefan: She's home.

Damon: And you're here why?

{"Exactly, should have died long ago." murmured Tyler, still bitter about Mason's death.}

Stefan: Because she wanted to be with Jeremy.

Damon: Here.

He gives him a glass of scotch.

Stefan: Thanks. Listen, um, what Rose told Elena about the curse...

Damon: I know, we'll keep her safe.

{A low chuckle sounded in the room, everyone's attention turned towards the source to see Katherine chuckling with her eyes closed but difference was that it was hollow and dangerous which made everyone uncomfortable.

"What's so funny?" asked Stefan.

" Just the fact that you are ready to protect Elena but you both did not even care about 'HER'..." replied Katherine, all traces of humor left her face as she stared blankly at the now rigid Salvatore brothers.

Everyone frowned feeling confused.

" What? Who are you talking about? " Questioned Alaric.

Katherine smirked but her eyes were empty, " ask your best friend and the so-called protector, I am sure they will tell you everything about ' HER '..."

All eyes turned towards the Salvatore brothers who were frozen in their seats but before they could question them, the screen resumed.}

Stefan: You know, the only way we're gonna be able to do that is if we're not fighting each other. We let Katherine come between us. If we let that happen with Elena, we're not gonna be able to protect her.

Damon: Yes Stefan, I heard it all before.

Stefan: Hey.

Damon: What?

Stefan: I'm sorry.

Damon: About what?

Stefan: For being the guy who made you turn 145 years ago.

{Stefan and Damon had now returned from their dreamland, but their body language was still tense and stiffer after hearing Stefan's words.}

Damon: Enough Stef, it's late. Don't need to rehash that.

Stefan: You know what? I've never said it out loud. I guess I just need to say it and you need to hear it. I'm sorry. What I did was selfish. I didn't want to be alone. I guess I just needed my brother.

{Katherine's eyes burned holes into the Salvatore's, who resolutely ignored her tightening their jaws and fists.

While the rest looked confused and curious.}

Forbes Residence

Caroline is still with Tyler. She arrives with a bottle of alcohol and two glasses. Both of them talk about how different Werewolves and Vampires are and how many like them are out there. Caroline tells him that they can't tell anyone about their nature and talk about the founding families and council. Tyler confesses he is scared which made Caroline embrace him.

{Caroline and Tyler blushed seeing themselves on the screen and also the teasing looks of their friends except Matt who stared at them blankly.}

Salvatore Boarding House

Stefan is in the library. He hears a noise, and a vampire is running around him. He takes a stake.

Stefan: Who's there?

Rose and Trevor arrive.

{Eyes narrow on the screen in suspicion...}

Rose: We are not here to hurt you.

Stefan: Why are you here?

Rose: Lexi once told me that you're one of the good ones.

{Stefan perked up at that...}

Stefan: You knew Lexi?

Trevor: It was sad to hear about her death.

Stefan: Well, I don't know why you both are here but I'm sorry, I can't help you.

Rose: We don't need your help.

Trevor: You need ours.

{Klaus and Elijah narrowed their eyes at the screen warning.}

Rose: Elijah may be dead, but this isn't over.

{The Originals subtly smirked at that...}

Stefan: What do you mean "it's not over"? and why are you both helping us?

Trevor and Rose shared a look.

Trevor: We were asked to.

{Once again everyone narrowed their eyes at the screen.

" By Whom?" questioned Elena

"Obviously Zara, dumbass" replied Hayley looking irritated with Elena's stupid questions.

Elena glared back at her and wanted to fire back but stopped seeing the screen start playing again.}

Stefan: (frowns) What?

Rose: It isn't over. The originals, they'll come for her. They have to. They're doing it for him.

Stefan: For who?

Rose and Trevor share another look, but this was full of nervousness.

{Elijah and Klaus were glaring holes at the screen.}

Rose: Klaus.

Trevor: Klaus.

Gilbert Residence

Elena in in pajamas. She's going into her bedroom. Damon's here.

Damon: Cute PJ's.

Elena: I'm tired, Damon.

Damon: I brought you this.

He shows her the necklace.

{Rebekah stiffened looking at the necklace and fisted her hands. She looked back at Elena, her eyes moving towards her neck, and her fists tightened more she glared at Elena and then Damon but kept her cool. The Mikaelson's looked at their sister in confusion, but she gave one last glare to Damon, Elena and turned back towards the screen with a stony expression.}

Elena: I thought that was gone. Thank you.

She tries to grab it, but he doesn't give it to her.

Elena: Please give it back.

Damon: I just have to say something.

{Stefan was glaring at the screen while Elena was tensed, and Damon was trying to look nonchalant.}

Elena: Why do you have to say it with my necklace?

Damon: Well, because what I'm about to say is...probably the most selfish thing I have ever said in my life.

Elena: Damon, don't go there.

{Stefan's fist tightened.}

Damon: No, I just have to say it once. You just need to hear it. I love you, Elena and it's because I love you that...I can't be selfish with you. Why you can't know this. I don't deserve you, but my brother does.

He kisses her on the forehead.

Damon: God, I wish you didn't have to forget this, but you do.

He compels her and sheds a tear. Elena closes her eyes. When she opens them, Damon's gone, and she has her necklace. She touches her necklace and looks around her. She sits down on her bed and looks at her necklace.

{It was the most uncomfortable and tensed silence.

Damon and Stefan both were sitting tensely and avoided each other except for the occasional death glares Stefan sent him. Elena bit her lip and looked down not reacting at all.

Katherine was smirking at the screen, her eyes still blank.

The Originals too shook their heads at the idiocy of the Salvatore brothers who have already faced this before with Katherine yet again, making the same mistake with Elena.}

House

Elijah is still impaled to the door, but he slowly wakes up. His face regains its color, and he removes the stake from his chest.

{Gasps surrounded as the Mystic gang looked at the screen and at Elijah in shock.}

He slowly stood up with jaw clenched and eyes bloodshot indicating just how furious he was. His hands went to straighten his color but stopped feeling something in his breast pocket. He checked his pocket and found a note and a ring making him frown.

Silently he opened the note and suddenly stilled. His body language going rigid, eyes widening and breathing ragged.

Elijah Mikaelson, I think it's finally time, we have a chat.
