{It was a tense silence with the Mystic Falls gang sharing anxious looks among each other and the Salvatore brothers sitting rigidly. Katherine’s face was blank while the others chose to silently watch.}

Elena and Stefan are on the porch.

Stefan: Elena.

Elena: I can't talk about it, Stefan.

Stefan: You have to. Don't shut me out. Elena, please.

Elena: What did Katherine mean by that Stefan? What did she mean by ‘SHE’ is back? Who is this ‘SHE’?

{Elena turned to look at Stefan who tensed under her stare and so did Damon. They will not disclose any information, not until they get to know what happened to ‘Evelyn Salvatore’, their beloved sister and how she became ‘Shadow’, one of the most feared supernatural entities.}

Stefan: I don’t know Elena and honestly this might be a new trick of Katherine’s. We cannot trust her, she just said that to mislead us.

Elena: No Stefan, I do not think she was lying this time.
