Oh my, I felt a horrid migraine, I tried to open my eyes but to no avail.
I could hear some soft voices in my surroundings, something about when I would regain consciousness or what not, I really wanted to tell them I have but I was too weak to do so.
Curse this extremely weak body....
Wait no this is my body, I revoke the curse.,
Bless this extremely weak body, now that's better.
I was pulled from my thoughts by Caelum's calm, languid voice.
"What are you saying doc. Don't tell me bringing you here was a pointless gesture" caelum calmly asked
Altair looked at the doctor in silence, then briefly—almost gently—glanced at Lucien before averting his gaze."
"No, but honestly this is the result of my diagnosis and observation " the doctor hurriedly explained regretting why he was called.
In this day and time, where technology has developed exponentially, doctors and other medical staff should have been long extinct but due to the "the elite era" as they call it, where lads and ladies of noble and extremely influencial family go through the phenomenon called "awakening" it saved the supposed drifting occupation.
But at this moment he really wished it was extinct, why would a child no other than 14 carry such aura around him, an aura of power and immense wealth, he felt both oppressed and suffocated.
"So you are saying quite bravely I might add, that my youngest, who has yet to reach the age of awakening is suffering from brain overstimulation, am I correct ? Caelum asked with a calm smile but his words carried mockery in them ,he then looked at Lucien who was unconscious deeply.
Even Altair looked at the supposed doctor with slightly narrowed eyes.
Lucien who was still "unconscious" felt his blood freeze and he shivered unconsciously at caelum gaze.
.Caelum's eyes flickered for the briefest moment.
He had noticed.
Lucien's shiver hadn't gone unseen.
He smiled softly with a hint of indulgence and looked at the doctor.
"You should be sorry you wasted our time but your services are obsolete much like its architect, I will not be wishing you well, so you may take your leave now" he smiled softly and said in a genteel manner.
"Thank you so very much for your grace, I'm very much honored and sorry for disappointing" the doctor said clearly feeling very wronged but unable to do anything about it.
" You should, no one will be seeing you off" continued in a generous tone.
"Of course" the doctor said while scurrying away from these behemoths.
Altair stared at his back with disgust before setting his gaze at caelum.
Caelum sat down next to Lucien and softly started counting down.
"5, 4 , 3, 2...
Lucien opened his eyes reluctantly, his expression showing he felt aggrerived.
"Altair was shocked by the timing—until realization dawned, and amusement flickered in his gaze."
"Oh my, Lucien dear, what a surprise, gracing us with your consciousness so soon, you didn't even warn us, can you believe him At.my dear "
Altair knew what caelum was playing at and had no problem joining in on it.
"Yes Lucien dear, it is very bad to eavesdrop on people, quite inelegant don't you say " Altair continued while copying caelum's tone.
I rolled my eyes at them
"Oh, I seem to have regained consciousness, Sorry for the lack of a grand announcement. You both looked so thrilled gossiping about me."
I didn't want to interrupt "
I said dryly.
"Well thank you for acknowledging your wrong, we don't mind though " caelum responded calmly while Altair chuckled quietly.
He seemed awfully quiet today ,
why ?
I don't know for now.
Caelum cleared his throat and said seriously
" But Lucien we need to talk and I –I need you to be completely honest..... I looked up at him quietly then he continued softly
"As honest as you can be".
"I will be waiting outside" Altair says while trying to excuse himself.
"No you stay here, we are a family aren't we ?" Caelum looked at Altair softly.
"No matter what happens, we are still family"caelum affirmed his earlier statement confidently.
Lucien looks at them and sighed, resigned.
Caelum took that as a yes and dragged Altair into sitting close to him.
"You acted recklessly today. Most children wouldn't know what an override command even is… much less how to execute one."
Caelum commented softly
"Most children don't need to." Lucien looked away, this conversation was extremely difficult to have.
The pain it brought back was not something he was ready for.
"I didn't do it to gain attention, I need you to trust me, I would never hurt you guys, I swear on it" Lucien vehemently tried to convince them.
You don't need to ask for that, we might have been a little worried, but we trust you " caelum assured him.
But Lucien just quietly gazed at Altair, his eyes full of fear and uncertainty.
Altair heart pierced, he replied with a slightly grafty voice,
" I trust you Lucien ".
Lucien sighed in relief,
" I won't disappoint your trust, I promise you. But there are some things I can't say in fear of it becoming too real". He said softly almost a whisper.
"You're too young to speak like that."
Then, more softly:
"You sounded like someone who's already lost them once." Altair said with a sense of worry.
But all Lucien did was look down at his fingers .
Caelum sighed quietly while saying in a comforting voice.
"Once you're ready we are here for you alright"
His unease betrayed his calm voice.
But he still tried to be the pillar they all needed.
He got up and pulled Lucien into his arms, when he realized Altair was still dilly dalling he pulled him by the collar into the embrace.
Lucien almost lost himself at their warmth ...until caelum Coreband buzzed, gently breaking the embrace.
As Altair and caelum decided to let Lucien rest and attend to the reason for the coreband interruptions.
Caelum turned back and said softly
"Next time, tell me. If there is one."
Lucien looked at him with red eyes and smiled softly.
" Of course I will. What else are elder brothers for, if not delegation and manipulation?"
Altair chuckled while caelum smiled while walking out of the room with his voice echoing.
" Don't recede on your promise now, Lucien dear, don't make us wait for too long now.
The door closed, leaving Lucien alone in his room to digest all that has happened.
"Well, this has been quite interesting day, hasn't it now "

The 9th Angel watching Lucien from her computer with elyraeth on the bed reading another of her draft, closed the computer and smile softly.
"Well, how do you think he will fare" elyraeth asked her his eyes only leaving the draft to glance at her with an amused gaze.
"I don't mean to jinx things but he'll definitely be alright and more, honestly"
Elyraeth smiled softly and then corrected her on the draft he was currently reading.
"You used obsolete here multiple times
making it too repetitive"
She looked at him and responded dryly
"Maybe cause I look at an obsolete being everyday, now that might just be the problem."
Elyraeth 'the obsolete being': "..."
