Chapter 6 P2 Room 124

Waverly...

Room 124. This is Fee's private room. I'm in his small bedroom that has blueprints hanging on the walls, mechanical parts scattered on the wooden floor, tools near the doorless doorway, and-

"AHH FUCK!" I hissed out.

"Baby calm down, just some gauze and brown liquid, see? All on the neck..." Fee cooed.

"I- I- I'm calm, just... didn't expect it to sting that damn much..."

"There you go my love, now press the gauze onto your neck."

So basically, Fee's fine ass lured me into his private place since if we were to go to Dariuz's place, not only we'll meet Dariuz's pup that I met back in that prison, the pup would most likely ask, "where is Dariuz?". Though, the pup is going to find out sooner or later... and I'm hoping for later.

But here I am now, laying down flat on my back on Fee's bed, me pressing down gauze on my neck with the old bandage off with my normal paw with the scent of brown liquid filling the room. I also got me a hot border collie laying on top of me, administrating my aid.

"Okay..." Fee sighed in relief. "You feeling better...?"

"Mmm... not yet..." I groaned in relief before he gives me a small lick on my black nose.

"Don't worry my love, you deserve rest... and a shower."

I gently scoff. "A shower? Please..."

"Mm... you know what?" Fee then moves his face all up on my chest and sniffs for a lengthy time. After that, he shudders pleasingly. "N- Never mind..."

I snicker deeply and slowly move my metal paw behind his ears to scratch them, in exchange for Fee's body to squirm lovingly with his face still buried onto my chest.

"W- Waves, baby..." Fee slightly moaned. "We need to sleep..."

"Sleep?" I said confusingly. "But... I can't sleep. I haven't gone to sleep in decades..."

"Decades?!" Fee gasped in shock, and I stop scratching his ear and tucked my paws away from him. "Oh Darkness, you're in worse conditions than I thought my love."

"Fee, who is this 'Darkness' you speak of? I've been seeing and hearing that all day... or night..."

"Day." Fee corrected. "But... She's the Legenddess of Tenebrosity. You ever wonder why the skies are always dark and gloomy? It's because of her. But when the Red Sun Generator was created, Her powers were weakened, but no one doesn't want to destroy the generator, or else the population outside of here will perish, and us dogs and cats inside of this mountain will be safe." Fee explained.

"...Holy shit." I said in awe before chucking the gauze in the corner of the room. "A- And I'm hearing this now? Was She the one who created the Red Sun in the first place? Or was it the Legend?"

Fee gently looks up at his roof. "Uhhhhhm..." he hummed, seeming like he is trying to think. He then looks back at me with a cute toothy smile. "Neither. Sure, the Legend created the four suns in the New World, but the Red Sun wasn't His doing. Long time ago, when He created a normal sun in these very lands, it later became infected by Darkness when She took over a healthy cloud to make it purely dark. Afterwards, she produced more dark clouds that would be strong enough to disrupt the clean air into a more poisonous air, to which, the poisonous air flew inside of the normal sun like a seed traveling its way to the egg. And you can guess the rest, but... in my personal opinion, I think that there's really five suns."

"Five...?" I questioned in utter interest like a pup.

"Mhm. One is the Red Sun, and the other is the Sun, and they're both brothers and Legends. Relatively speaking, they're suns that are now combine into one, but in a conflicting way due to differences of light."

Suddenly, I yawn. I swiftly cover my mouth with my paws. "The hell was that?"

Fee tilts his head at me. "You... yawned?"

"That was a yawn? Holy shit, I haven't yawned in a good while... does this mean I can finally sleep? It has to be because of you."

"Me?" Fee gently scoffed. "It was probably the story telling."

"I mean..." I sighed. "When the Red Sun inflicted me pain, I had insomnia throughout my decades... but after I met with my mate, I was beginning to sleep again... until his death, of course. Now, I can't sleep... but maybe... and I know it's a silly though, but just maybe..."

Fee then gently licks my nose. "Baby... you've been suffering too much love... how is this possible...?"

"It's better if I really don't tell you my views... but for one thing, it was foolish of me to think such hope throughout my life here... and it still technically IS foolish of me thinking that there is hope today..." I grumbled miserably before staring up at the roof with sleepy eyes.

"Thinking of hope can be foolish..." Fee barked gently as he rolls off me in order to snuggle up on my side with his paws wrapped around on my metal forearm, and his slim body presses against my old, muscular body, and he puts his face against the side of my neck as he soon whispers, "but thinking of pessimism is a fool's blindness in seeing the worst in everything, but there's always ONE thing that makes the fool's blindness be able to see hope."

My body begins to feel relaxingly fuzzy from Fee's positively soothing words. "And that one thing is...?" I whispered drowsily.

"Light, my love... light."

...

Zzz.
