Chapter 44 : look up

"Damien Damien wait Damien" Natasha called as she followed him.

"wait Damien" she said making Damien to stop as he turned and looked at her

"your brother is an ungrateful bastard argh now I see why my mom doesn't like royalty you guys think that you are entitled to everything and once you loose one thing you become more insolent " Damien said as he stared at her

"that's how my brother is but not all royalties are like that" she replied

"hmm if I had known I would have just left on my own instead of sticking my head out for this" Damien replied as he pointed towards the place he just left

"Damien you are angry and I know that you have done a lot for us and yet my brother still sees you as his servant but that is my brother's opinion of this and if you actually just get your mind of his opinion you would see that many people in this group think of you as royalty and not Alex "she stated

"well I don't want to be thought of as royalty and I don't even need to be royalty" Damien replied

"see so my brother's opinion or thoughts doesn't matter and besides you aren't his servant anymore so now you can hit him any time you want" she replied smiling at him but instead she saw a broad frown on his face as he stood up and walked towards a tree

"what is it?" she asked confused at his sudden behavior as she followed him as the two headed towards the mountains.

"what is it Damien where are you going?" she asked stopping him

"look up on the mountain " he replied as he pointed towards the Nemur mountain

"demon soldiers" she said as she noticed them climbing the mountains "what do you think they are after?" she asked

"I don't know but it can't be good right" he replied looking towards the mountains but soon turned as he heard footsteps approaching them and soon Alex emerged from the bushes making Damien frown

"what are you doing here?" he asked as he formed his fist

"I just wanted to say that I am sorry I didn't mean to insult you I was really arrogant about it and i am sorry for insulting you and fighting with you pls forgive me "he said looking at Damien

"well now isn't the time so you can hold it" Damien replied as he kept walking towards the mountains

"seriously I apologized and now you tell me it is the wrong time are you keeping a grudge with me because of my sister come on Damien" Alex said as he followed them

"Alex could you just keep quiet and look up on the mountain" Natasha said making Alex look up

"demon soldiers ohh" he said as they kept walking towards the mountain

"wait they are here for Nemur crystals" Alex said

"that is right but what do they want with it" Natasha asked

"you know how the Emperor absorbed your dad's energy and called forth demons with it" Damien said "Nemur jewels hold an awful amount of mysthical powers and energy and that's why he wants it the Emperor wants to conjure more soldiers from the underworld" Damien replied as they got to the bottom of the mountain and started climbing onto it

"why would the Emperor need another army his legion now surpasses the one of my father had" Natasha stated

"that's true but they are weaker" Alex replied

"they aren't a normal demon soldier at his full strength can't be matched by ten warlock knights at theirs" Damien retorted

"then why are they so powerless" Alex asked

"well a demon needs to absorb dark energy to be his powerful self which these demons dont have so they have weakened" Damien responded as they as they neared the mountains entrance. hearing noises going on inside the cave.

"come on we need to stop them cause if they get that crystal it would be harder to stop him" Alex said as he jumped into the cave alerting the demons

"see what I mean" Damien told Natasha as he entered the cave and was followed by Natasha.

Entering the cave a battle ensued as Alex had slain two demon soldiers and more kept on heading toward them. Seeing the three intruders the demon General got angry as he prepared to attack them but he then noticed Damien who had created two ice blades and had killed three soldiers immediately, seeing what Damien did the General grew angry as he created a huge foggy blast and shot it at Damien who didn't see or know an attack was launched at him. One of the special features of a smoke demon was that they could attack you silently and you wouldn't even know that you where about to be attacked until you have been hit so as the attack neared, Damien didn't realize until he felt a sharp an sudden pain in his back making him scream but as soon as he opened his mouth a loud yell escaped it causing everyone to hold their ears the scream was so loud that it was heard back at the place they had stopped. falling to his knees Damien struggled to get back up and thereby giving the General another opportunity for an attack as he turned into smoke a headed towards Damien who was still struggling to get up as his eyes where closing but the moment the General tried another attack Damien's eyes shot open as his pupils where now golden and with this change Damien jumped of th ground as a huge golden force field appeared around him and blocked out the General's attack therefore flinging him back as he crashed onto the wall but the force field kept increasing at an incredible speed blocking everything and destroying everything

"Damien stop it you are going to destroy the mountain" Alex called out as the wave of energy neared them

"I think he is in one of those his states" Natasha said looking at Alex

"ow no we need to leave this mountain now or else we would be splattered onto the wall "Alex said as he ran towards the nearby wall and punched it breaking the wall as they both jumped out flying towards the ground and soon the top of the mountain was destroyed as the huge energy reached it and broke it causing the rocks to fall down like meteors
