Chapter 4: The First Date

Jin and Jennie had been planning their first official date for weeks now. They had both been excitedly counting down the days and had carefully planned out every detail of their evening together.

Jin stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his tie nervously. He had chosen a classic black suit for the occasion, wanting to make a good impression on Jennie. He fidgeted with his hair, trying to get it to sit just right, before taking a deep breath and heading out the door.

Meanwhile, Jennie was busy putting the finishing touches on her own outfit. She had chosen a beautiful red dress that she had been saving for a special occasion, and she had never felt more confident or beautiful in her life. She added a pair of simple heels and a small clutch purse to complete the look, and then headed out the door to meet Jin.

As they arrived at the restaurant, Jin couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness wash over him. He had planned everything carefully, from the reservations to the menu, but he still worried that something would go wrong. However, as they walked into the restaurant, both feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. They were both dressed to impress - Jin in crisp white shirt and black slacks, while Jennie wore a stunning red dress that hugged her curves perfectly. Jennie smiled brightly as Jin approached her, and they shared a warm hug before heading inside. The restaurant was dimly lit, with candles flickering on each table, and soft jazz music playing in the background. It was the perfect setting for a romantic evening.

As they were seated at their table, Jin couldn't help but admire Jennie. She looked beautiful, and he couldn't believe that she was here with him.

"Thanks for agreeing to come on this date with me," Jin said, his eyes fixed on her.

"Of course," Jennie replied, her cheeks flushing slightly. "I've been looking forward to it all week."

Jin felt a rush of happiness at her words. He had been nervous about asking her out, but now he was glad he had taken the chance.

As they perused the menu, Jin and Jennie talked about everything and anything. They laughed at each other's jokes, and Jin couldn't help but feel like he had known her for years.

When their food arrived, they both dug in eagerly, enjoying the delicious flavours of the dishes. But as they ate, Jin felt a sense of nervousness creeping up on him.

" Jennie, can I ask you something?" he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Of course," she replied, looking at him curiously.

Jin took a deep breath. "I know we've only been on one date, but...I feel like there's something special between us. I know we both have busy schedules, but I was wondering if you'd like to continue seeing each other?"

Jennie's eyes widened, and Jin held his breath, waiting for her answer.

"I feel the same way," she said finally, her eyes sparkling. "I'd love to see where this goes."

Jin let out a sigh of relief, feeling like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He knew that he wanted to be with Jennie, and he was glad that she felt the same.

As they continued to talk and laugh over their meal, Jin, and Jennie both knew that this was just the beginning of their love story. They were both excited to see what the future held, and they couldn't wait to continue exploring the world together, hand in hand.

As they finished their meal and walked out of the restaurant, Jin, and Jennie both felt a sense of contentment. They knew that their first date had been a success, and they were excited to see where their relationship would go from there.

As they left the restaurant, Jin and Jennie walked down the street hand in hand, both feeling a sense of happiness that came with the start of a new relationship. The night was perfect – the food had been delicious, the conversation had been easy, and the chemistry between them was undeniable.

"Jin, I had such a great time tonight," Jennie said, smiling up at him.

"I'm glad you did," Jin replied, squeezing her hand gently. "I had a great time too."

They walked in silence for a few moments, taking in the cool night air and the bright lights of the city around them. Finally, Jin spoke up.

"Jennie, can I ask you something?"

"Of course," she replied, looking up at him curiously.

He paused for a moment, taking a deep breath before continuing. "I know it's only our first date, but I feel like there's something special between us. I don't want to rush anything, but I just wanted to tell you that I really like you."

Jennie's heart swelled with happiness at Jin's words. She had been feeling the same way but was afraid to say anything, fearing that it might scare him off.

"I really like you too, Jin," she said softly, smiling up at him.

They stopped walking and faced each other, their eyes locked in a moment of shared understanding.

Without a word, Jin leaned in and kissed her on her forehead, and Jennie felt her heart skip a beat. It was a gentle, sweet kiss, full of all the promise and hope of a new relationship.

As they pulled away from each other, Jin grinned down at her. "I hope this is just the first of many dates to come."

Jennie smiled back, feeling a warmth spreading through her chest. "I hope so too."

They continued walking, their hands still entwined, feeling as though they were walking on air. The night was theirs, full of infinite possibilities and the hope of a future together.

As they walked, they chatted about everything and anything, from their favourite movies to their dreams and aspirations. The conversation flowed easily between them, and they found themselves laughing and joking like they had known each other for years.

Before they knew it, they found themselves standing in front of Jennie's apartment building. They both stopped, reluctant to say goodbye just yet.

"I had a really great time tonight, Jin," Jennie said, looking up at him with a smile.

"Me too," Jin replied. "I don't want the night to end."

Jennie nodded, feeling the same way. "Would you like to come up for a cup of tea or something?"

Jin's face lit up at the invitation. "I'd love to."

They walked up to Jennie's apartment, hand in hand, their hearts beating faster with each step. As they stepped inside, they both felt a sense of anticipation and nervousness, knowing that this could be the start of something truly special.

Jin and Jennie sat on the couch in her living room, facing each other with shy smiles on their faces. The air was charged with nervous energy, both of them unsure of what to say next.

Finally, Jin spoke up. "I had a really great time tonight," he said, his voice soft.

Jennie's smile grew wider. "Me too," she replied. "I never expected to meet someone like you."

Jin chuckled, shaking his head. "I can say the same thing about you. You're one of a kind."

They sat in comfortable silence for a few moments, just looking at each other. Finally, Jennie spoke up. "Jin, can I ask you something?"

"Of course," he replied, his eyes fixed on hers.

She took a deep breath before continuing. "Why did you choose to pursue music? I mean, it's not an easy career path."

Jin leaned back on the couch; his eyes distant as he thought back to his childhood. "Music has always been a part of my life," he said slowly. "I used to sing all the time when I was a kid, and my parents noticed that I had a talent for it. They encouraged me to pursue it, even though it wasn't something that was considered a stable career choice."

Jennie listened intently, fascinated by his story. "So, you've always known that you wanted to be a singer?"

Jin nodded. "Yeah, it's always been my dream. And now that I'm part of BTS, I feel like I'm living that dream every day."

Jennie smiled, reaching out to take his hand in hers. "I'm so proud of you," she said. "You've accomplished so much already, and I know you're going to do even more amazing things in the future."

Jin's heart swelled with emotion as he looked at her. "Thank you," he whispered. "It means so much to me to have your support."

They sat there for a while longer, talking about their hopes and dreams, their fears, and doubts. As the night wore on, the conversation turned more personal, and they found themselves opening up to each other in ways they never had before.

Finally, Jin stood up, stretching his arms above his head. "As much as I don't want to leave, I should probably go," he said regretfully.

Jennie nodded, standing up as well. "Yeah, it's getting pretty late," she agreed.

They walked to the door together, their hands still intertwined. Jin turned to face her; his eyes intense as he spoke. " Jennie, I know we haven't known each other for very long, but I feel like we have a connection that's rare and special. I want to keep getting to know you, to see where this could go."

Jennie's heart skipped a beat at his words. "Jin, I feel the same way," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. They both felt a sense of anticipation and nervousness, knowing that this could be the start of something truly special.
