Enchantress of Time

Deus, the proud Grandmaster of the Magic Tower, turned into a human statue along with the countless others on the premises.

In a world where the time was forcefully stopped, Celestine opened up her umbrella and leaped in Deus' direction. She looked at the two grimoires left suspended on the air.

"What's the point of being an eight-circle mage if you can't cast even a basic spell?" She said with a hint of mockery.

Then she grabbed the grimoires with the thought of tearing them apart. However, as soon as her hand touched the book, it let out a faint light, returning back the lost color of the grayscale world. After that, the old man regained his freedom, escaping the clutches of being frozen in time. He looked at the enchantress with a satisfying grin.

This made Celestine startle; her mouth partially opened. She retracted her arm and leaped backward, keeping a few distances from Deus.

"I-It can't be. H-How?" She mumbled, surprised about what happened.
