Tolerance

What is love?

This is the most important topic discussed in this movie. The love between a man and a woman in the movie does not seem to be a perfect match - the man's conservatism and the woman's boldness are destined to have too many conflicts when they are together.

In fact, in this story, if it were not for chance, the two of them would indeed stay away from each other.

However, in the story, the two of them could still come together - because of their chance encounter and their glimmer of understanding.

The two people in the story have obviously figured out one thing. Love is not entirely about adhering to oneself. For the sake of love, everyone must make changes, make compromises, and tolerate the other's mistakes.

These principles may seem simple, but few people can do them.

Naomi has always believed that she already knows this truth very well; it is just a popular truth.

What's the big deal?

However, after Craig's reminder, she suddenly discovered that she didn't particularly understand the word tolerance - let alone tolerating someone in love, even accepting someone had nothing to do with her. It was difficult for her to feel even a little bit about Levi's mistakes in her heart.

Although she does not admit that this is love in her heart, even if it is friendship, doesn't it require tolerance and understanding? She expected Levi to tolerate and understand her, but why did she ask Levi to do this?

Thinking of this, she suddenly felt that her dissatisfaction was somewhat unreasonable: Levi did not understand her thoughts, but how much did she understand Levi's thoughts?

She is the heroine of his movie, but she doesn't even understand the connotation of his movie.

It seems that she made a big mistake.

The most important thing for actors is understanding the script, but she didn't do it well enough, even worse than Daniel Craig.

This made her slightly ashamed, though. As an experienced actor, she knows how to control her emotions and asks other actors for advice.

"Daniel, what do you think of the idea of this movie? Can you tell me?" After Naomi thought for a moment, she spoke again.

Since Craig's understanding of movies is better than hers, it's appropriate to ask him for advice.

"Director Levi's idea is very good. Love requires understanding and tolerance and making changes for the other person. In theory, these are not wrong. However, in real life, it is not necessarily true.

Director Levi's story is a bit too idealistic. His ideas are still based on perfect love. I have been divorced before. I don't think all problems can be tolerated. Some things are non-negotiable."

Craig thought for a moment and then expressed his opinion. But he didn't notice that his words made Naomi frown a little.

Although Naomi has mixed feelings about Levi recently, she still likes Levi's movies. The ideas in this movie should be considered very good. As for Craig, where did this come from?

"For example?"

"It's not easy to compare this. After all, everyone encounters different situations. Let's talk about this movie, actually.

As far as the two people in the movie are concerned, there are many problems here. The man's temper is basically fine. However, this woman has a severe drinking problem, which is difficult to tolerate.

What's more, she lacks control over herself. Although she said she wanted to have a child, in fact, she couldn't control herself at all..."

Now that the topic returned to the script, Craig's opinions came out, and his picky comments immediately made Naomi dissatisfied.

Although her interpretation of the core idea of the script may not be accurate, she has put a lot of thought into this character. It is difficult for her to accept being evaluated like this.

Why is it that only women are at fault?

"Is there nothing wrong with this man? He lacks enough trust in his girlfriend. He always suspects that his girlfriend is having contact with other men.

When his girlfriend said she wanted to have children, what he expressed was not encouragement but ridicule. He is full of criticisms about his girlfriend's life, but he thinks his own boring life is very good.

Is such a person doing the right thing? If it comes to not knowing how to tolerate, he is the more serious problem, right?"

Naomi's counterattack was quite loud, even with some of her own emotions, but Craig laughed, "Look, this is right. We should have this kind of discussion about the movie.

We now know that Director Levi designed different ideas and ways of looking at problems for men and women in the movie. We look at problems from different angles and have different opinions. Knowing this, we can make the movie better."

Craig's words, without any objection, helped Naomi calm down. She started speaking, but it took her a while to actually speak, "Thank you, I was a little angry."

"It's okay. Everyone must tolerate each other. This is also part of the script. Let's talk about the script. Your understanding of Director Levi's script is very interesting, and we can talk about it."

Naomi nodded, and in her heart, she already had some ideas.

Where is the contradiction? Isn't it the biggest problem that men are careless, lack a deep enough understanding of women, and always judge women by their appearance?

Naomi figured it out immediately; this time, she didn't speak immediately.

Yes, isn't it the biggest problem that men are careless and not familiar enough with women's thoughts?

Compared with women, men are creatures who lack judgment on delicate emotions. They never express their thoughts, only give slight hints, and expect the other party to take action.

She has ignored the way men look at problems.

Levi is also a man. Being able to write such a script does not mean that he can get rid of the inherent thinking of men. Does he have good enough judgment about his own feelings?

Should she do something? Naomi also had some changes in her heart - maybe the most important thing about tolerance is not having a bad temper but understanding the other person's thinking.

Thinking about this, a smile appeared on her face, and she started to discuss it with Craig.

Movies can indeed change people.

Standing not far away, watching Naomi and Craig chatting happily, Levi was stunned for a while before turning his head.

Scarlett, who was standing next to him, had already said with a smile, "What's wrong? Are you a little worried?"

"What am I worried about? My hero and heroine are discussing the movie; no matter what they discuss, isn't it more beneficial to my movie?"

Looking back, Levi immediately answered, but Scarlett, standing next to him, just smiled at his words, "Are you really sure they are just talking about a movie script? That man is much more attractive than you."

"I am sure that my actors will not think about other messy things when they are on the set - and, do you need to pay attention to these things? How are you preparing your lines?"

Levi interrupted Scarlett's words and, on the contrary, asked her about her preparations.

He didn't care about Scarlett's teasing: he was very familiar with Naomi and knew that Naomi would not want to mess around when she had a heavy filming workload.

And Craig is also very smart. Naomi and Levi have collaborated on three movies, and she relied on Levi to make her fortune. If he were to make a move on Naomi, he would be very stupid. Levi believed he wasn't that stupid.

Compared with those, he was more worried about Scarlett's preparation of lines: this was his first time working with Scarlett, and the movie itself was very focused on promoting the plot through lines, so her preparation was also very important.

In love movies, especially some literary love movies, basic line skills are an important aspect. Although Scarlett was a child star, Levi did not dare to relax in preparing her lines.

Levi was not prepared to indulge her in not preparing for the movie just because of the special relationship.

"Don't worry. In terms of lines, my agent helped me think of very good sentences. But I haven't figured out how to better show how the girl feels about the assistant who just finished messing with her after the doctor comes. As for the attitude, it's not good to be too soft, and it's not good to be too hard. I haven't thought about this yet." Scarlett answered immediately.

Listening to her answer, Levi nodded with satisfaction.

"Okay, get ready to go. Scarlett, your brain is very good. If you focus more on movies, your achievements will be very high. Don't keep thinking randomly, and it will be more beneficial to you."

Scarlett shrugged her shoulders, curled her lips slightly, and said nothing more, but there was a trace of ridicule towards Levi in her eyes.

This girl is sometimes too clever. Levi took the guide tube and lightly tapped her head, then looked away and stopped thinking.

Now, he had other things to think about.

The filming of this movie was slightly different than in his memory: in his memory, the idea of the movie itself was excellent, but how to edit it well during shooting was also a question.

There are long and short shots in a movie.

Long shots are very good for showing coherent and true stories but not for showing illusory and ever-changing memories and the dream world. In this movie, the dream memories are sometimes coherent and sometimes broken.

If this kind of movie is not edited well, it will give people a loose and broken look. The combination of real and fake is also the biggest difficulty of this movie.

Only with a good grasp of the lines and editing can this movie be considered a success. Levi believes his employees are working hard to improve the movie, and of course, he cannot ignore it.

A movie can only be perfected if everyone works together.
