Ups and Downs

The sociologist woke up together with Mr. and Mrs. Hines and the Chinese general. They all listened to and marveled at these 300 years of development.

Three hundred years have passed in a hurry, and there is no concept of a country on Earth, and only three political bodies are left.

In the past 300 years, science and technology have developed unprecedentedly. Although there is no breakthrough in physics, humans have still developed an amazing civilization.

Over the past 300 years, human beings have experienced many ups and downs, and now, they believe they have enough strength to fight against all external threats.

The Earth's Trisolaran organization has died, and the scale of the human joint fleet has far exceeded that of the Trisolarans. They regard the Trisolarans' visit as more of a joke.

All of this seemed quite incredible and surprised everyone. Before these people entered hibernation, it was clear that humankind's plan failed, and intrigues appeared to be a scene of failure.

However, it is said that in these 300 years, human beings have indeed experienced great turmoil and twists and turns, but after 300 years, can humans actually surpass the Trisolarans?

This situation is unimaginable.

Even at this time, the United Nations Headquarters also discovered new exciting news: after repeated warnings from Earth, the Trisolaran people also changed their attitude and launched a missile toward Earth. The water drop-shaped small spacecraft is believed to be a sign that the Trisolaran people pray for peace and negotiate with the Earth.

Could it be said that the Trisolaris people really gave up? Is it possible that the movie is going to be a flashback and tell how the Trisolarans lost? Even the audience was a little confused at this time.

It was not just the audience who did not understand at this time. After waking up, the Hines couple also had great confusion when they saw the number of Trisolarans and the power of human beings.

In extreme despair, Sean's wife, Keiko Yamasugi, also disclosed her identity at this time: she was also a member of the Earth Trisolaris organization back then, and she was also her husband's Wallbreaker. Back then, she went into hibernation without being able to uncover her husband's thoughts, but now she figured it out.

So, right inside the United Nations, she revealed her identity. She also announced her husband's plan: 300 years have passed, and the obsession of the Earth Trisolaran Organization remains the same.

Her husband's machine was not to build a consciousness of resistance but a consciousness of escape: Hines realized that humans could not win, and the concept he implanted into the human brain through instruments was escape.

Even Sophons ignore the difference between a positive and negative sign among tens of thousands of symbols. So, through his machines, Hines creates a legion of escapees who are determined to believe that humanity will fail.

These people have blended into human society. They don't think about how to resist. Their thoughts have determined that they will escape from the Earth and escape to the universe.

Three hundred years ago, this was a good way to preserve life for human beings, but when people saw it all 300 years later, it seemed very ridiculous.

"Why are you bothering... Everything is over. I knew your identity three hundred years ago and didn't reveal it. Why do you have to tell it now." Hines, who was listening to his wife's words, also said at this time, sighing sadly.

The answer to this mystery also caused some new commotion among the audience. Although people thought Hines would have a conspiracy, he actually did the same thing as Rey Diaz from the very beginning. He did not plan to save all humanity but planned to save only a part of humankind and sit back and watch the rest of mankind die.

None of these three Wallfacers valued human life when faced with a crisis.

This caused a great shock. Although the Wallfacer plan has been recognized as a failure, even so, the third Wallfacer is also a defeatist, which is difficult to accept.

Especially now, when war is facing complete victory, this approach seems even more unforgivable.

Yamasugi Keiko was arrested because of her identity. What Hines did was considered wrong to some extent, and he was also controlled. Humanity has now gained the upper hand. Whether these escapists will become a burden to humanity has become people's biggest question.

However, the sociologist at this time did not know about this problem. He had no idea all three of his colleagues were in bad luck. Seeing the prosperity of humanity, he was quite happy at this time - after all, he was also a human being, and he would also be pleased about the victory of mankind.

Therefore, although he still had doubts, he accepted everything happily. After waking up, he soon met his friend before hibernation, Officer Reynolds - he also entered hibernation and came to this era. The joy of meeting old friends diluted his doubts, and what he was more concerned about was how to find his wife and daughter.

With this question, he also followed Officer Renault to prepare to report the problem to the relevant departments. They left the hibernation center and immediately saw this bizarre time.

The means of transportation have changed from cars to hovercars, and the narrow streets have multi-story layouts; there are no longer human waiters in the restaurants; robots have taken their place, and these man-made robots also have very beautiful appearances.

This character, played by Jessica Alba, appeared for a total of ten seconds. It was purely a vase, but it still made people very satisfied with the appearance of an artificial robot; the sofa also has the function of a massage chair and can work as required at any time — these things look so different from modern Earth.

In fact, even the machine developed by Hines back then has now become a tool accepted by the public - if there is anything unpleasant, just put a stamp to eliminate it, and it has become a mass consumption.

It seemed that everything was different.

These technologies in the future also make the audience temporarily forget the movie's theme but enjoy these weird things.

However, just after the two of them left the hibernation center, a few problems immediately arose.

First, on the road, the hovercar got into an accident. Then, inside the restaurant, the faux waiter tried to kill the sociologist, and finally, right there on the sofa, the sofa tried to kill him, too. These blows are pretty damn fatal; alas, the person beside the sociologist is Renault, a well-trained and experienced veteran policeman. He was able to resist these mechanical practices.

The successive blows made the sociologist immediately understand - perhaps what has changed is only the outside. And there is a huge internal problem: the Trisolarans want to kill him, and that has not changed.

The following investigation also proved this: before the Earth's Trisolaran organization died out many years ago, it dominated technological changes, and the most important patch left by the intelligent system in their technological changes was to kill the sociologist.

And this series of murder attempts failed. It also made the relaxed audience feel tense again: it seemed that the war was not over.

If the Trisolarans were really doomed, they wouldn't think about how to kill the sociologist.

Three hundred years have passed. It stands to reason that the people on Earth are more powerful than ever. Even the sociologist who threatened them 300 years ago should not be a major problem by now.

But the Trisolarans have not forgotten him, and they are still thinking about how to kill him. This approach also made people aware of one thing: Trisolaran people are not easy to lose.

The audience understood this immediately, but it is a pity that the people on Earth have not understood this yet. They are not too concerned about attacks on the sociologist. In their opinion, what needs to be more worrying at this time is Hines's plan.

They were worried that in the battle against the Trisolarans, the people on Earth would betray themselves because of the ideological imprint of Hines - in their opinion, compared with aliens, these people are likely more terrifying.

After all, in their minds, the technology of humans has surpassed that of aliens, so naturally, they are worried about attacks from within.

In order to prevent such an attack, they chose to send people who could not be controlled to each spacecraft.

The future reinforcement plan of that year was mentioned again at this time.

Three hundred years ago, ideological stamps were still questioned and not popular. Therefore, most people of that era did not have stamps, and these people would also be sent to major fleets to control the overall situation.

And the Chinese general was among them.

What does this character want to do? For the audience, this is still unknown.

After being dispatched to major fleets, the first thing they need to do is to go to the space station to communicate with the spacecraft sent by the Trisolarans.

The people on Earth regard this as a political mission. In their view, this task requires a full demonstration of the power of people on Earth. Almost the entire Earth fleet was sent to the battlefield, and they lined up to demonstrate to the aliens in the universe.

At this moment, on the spacecraft, the Chinese general also issued an order to his men: In order to ensure that they would not take inappropriate measures at a critical moment, he asked them all to enter the hibernation cabin. Through this method, he took control of the spacecraft.

At this time, the Earth's spacecraft had captured the Trisolaran water droplet, and the Earth's scientists also went directly to observe the alien spacecraft at close range under the live broadcast on the Earth.

Next, people saw the scene in the trailer.

"What they did was like shooting a bow and arrow to the moon."

"Yes, but they did it."

A simple conversation, a breath of despair; they were happily accepting the alien spacecraft just a moment ago. Now, they instantly realized how big the technological gap between them and the aliens was. The so-called dominance of the Earthlings is actually nothing more than self-deception.

The scheming governments of various countries triggered riots before the end of the world. After the riots ended, humanity ushered in its peak period, thinking that its technology had surpassed aliens.

However, it was not until then that people discovered this was just self-deception. In order to maintain peace after heartache, human beings choose to deceive themselves and others and even forget their original intentions.

Alien technology is unimaginable to them. The silence of the Trisolarans was not fear but disdain.

The water droplet lit up and rushed towards the Earth Fleet. It looks like hitting an egg against a stone, but it has the momentum of a lion fighting a rabbit.
