Game On

Blake and Max were working.On how they were going to open the portal again. While Susie and I were brainstorming of what sleep should do to Ripley if falls for the bait. I vigorously went to the forest alone to work on my powers. It seemed that my powers only work when in angry, so I wanted to change that. I wanted to be eccentric while I use my powers. I tried to lift a tree using my powers, but it didn't seem to work. I tried again and it was working but it suddenly stopped. It was laborious and hard. I felt like I giving up but then I remembered what Tess told me that I shouldn't give up on what I want to accomplish in life. I tried again and I was a able to lift a whole tree up. I went back to meet my friends and I told them how I was able to control my own powers.They were amused and happy with the way I was improving.

"Okay guys, let's be quick about this plan. You know that Ripley doesn't bargain, so we have to be quick about it. Let's do this, for Tess" I said with a smile on my face.

It was already night fall and we had to be quick about it. Max and Blake were done setting up with the portal while Susie and I went to a store called "the basement" to get some weapons. "Susie, I'm not sure about how safe this place is" I said. "Oh come on Sophie, you have one opportunity to live your life to the fullest and you want to bail out ? I've been to this place a dozen of times and I'm sure this place Is safe" she said in a very convincing manner. I heeded her advice and went to the next aile. I saw exactly what I was looking for, flamethrowers. I took a look at the price tag and I was shocked. "Susie, I didn't know that weapons were so expensive. How do you afford them" I asked.

"Well this might sound crazy, but I don't actually buy them. When I want something from this store, I usually take it to the cashier and when he's not looking, I take and run away. Crazy right ?" She said. I asked myself, what planet is she from ? I had no other option than to try her dumb idea. We got two flame throwers, a grenade and two flamers. Susie went to the cashier and asked him to calculate everything we bought, she told me to run. I was eccentric because I had no idea what would have happened to her if she didn't make it. I quickly ran outside with the weapons and I saw Blake on a van. "Where did you come from ?" I asked. "There's no time to.answer that question, we have to get out of here" he said. I tried to explain to him that Susie is still in there but he didn't listen. He ordered me to get in the van before it's too late. I had no option than to get into the van. We started hearing gunshots. I was very scared and worried about Susie. Finally, we got away from there but the van ran out of gas. Blake and I had to stop somewhere safe.

"What about Susie ? What if they captured her, what we we going to do ?" I said frighteningly. Blake told me to calm down but I refused. Next thing I knew, I felt a really loud hand across my face. "Blake, did you slap me ?" I asked. He tried to explain that it was an accident, but I didn't listen to his petty lies. I was so furious and my powers went out of hand. I lifted him up in the air and threw him across. His head collided with a headstone. My powers were back to normal again and I was rendered helpless. I went to apologize to Blake but he was.unconscious. I found myself lying on the floor, crying and screaming for help. His head was bleeding profusely so I had to cut the sleeve of my shirt and tie it on his head. I wasn't with my phone, so there was no medium to ask for help.

Two hours later, I was asleep while I heard a loud horn. I woke up and I saw that it was a van coming towards our direction. I stood and I thought it was intruders before I saw Susie coming out of the car. I couldn't believe my eyes. I went to meet her and I have her a big hug. "You thought I would be dead by now, right ?" She asked. "We have to get out of here. It's almost time for us to execute our plan. We have to save Mika before it's too late. Blake hit me, so my powers got out of control so, I didn't even know when I hurt him. We have to get him to a hospital, as soon as possible" I said. I wondered who was driving the car, she told me that it was the cashier at the basement. I was at alert and I wanted to attack him before Susie told me that he's part of the good guys. "So, why were you chasing us ?" I asked.

"Well, first of all. My name is Zion and I'm part of the good guys. The only reason I chased you guys was to get out of there. I also got some ammunition that can help you guys. Trust me" he said obliviously. There was something wrong about his appearance that I didn't trust at all, but Blake's life was at stake so, I had no option. Zion came out of the car and he took Blake into the car. Blake's head was bleeding and It was all my fault. We arrived at the hospital five hours away from executing our plan. The Doctor took some time to attend to us which was a very heinous thing to do. We finally got some medical attention, so they took Blake to the emergency ward.

"Susie, what are we going to do ? We had no money to pay for the ammo we used, not to talk more of the hospital bills" I said curiously.

She was also confused and lost. Zion on the other hand, offered that he will pay for the hospital bills. I was shocked because of his generosity and that's when I knew that something was up to that guy. Although, he was ridiculously cute and I wanted to eat him up so bad. He went to the receptionist to make the payment while Susie and I were having a conversation.

"Susie, I don't know why this Zion guy is getting in my head" I said

"What Is it about him that's getting to you ?" She asked and that's when I explained to her that I'm kind of finding interest in him but there's something about him that I don't trust. She was amused that I had interest in Zion but She was also angry that I was going to give up on Blake, just like that. "Are you crazy ? You know that Blake had the courage to tell you that he loves you, and you're just going to give up on him ? I'll be really disappointed if you give up on Blake that easily" she said. I was confused because I didn't really know who I would choose between Zion and Blake. Besides, I wasn't even sure if Zion likes me or not. I looked through the window of the ward and I saw that Blake was awake but the doctor didn't inform us. I walked Into the room and then I saw that Blake tried to get up and hug me when he saw that I was in the ward. He was happy to see that I was still alive.

"Sophie, what happened ?" He asked. I didn't want to tell him because I knew he would be angry, so I kept it a secret. "My Head is sore. Where's Susie ?" He asked. "She's in the waiting room" I answered. He removed the drip on his hand and stood up. "What the hell are you doing ? You are not strong enough to leave this place" I said but he didn't listen to what I said. He came out of the ward and he hugged Susie. "Where's Zion ?

"Who's Zion ?" He asked. I made it clear to him that Zion is part of our crew now. We only had two more hours till we execute our plan. Blake instructed us to go back to Max's dojo so we could open the portal. Blake's phone was ringing,so he brought it out and it was Max that was calling. "Where the hell are you guys ? I've been here for the past three hours and this portal has been open since then" he said.

"We'll be there in a sec" Blake said. "A sec ? I don't have a sec---" Blake hung up the call right when max was about to finish his sentence. Susie wanted to go to the reception and get Zion while Blake and I were having a conversation. "So, what happened to me ? I don't even remember what happened" he said. Susie was on her way back so I turned the attention to her. "Guys, Zion isn't there" she said. I knew that he was up to no good. Susie brought a note with her. She said the Zion told the receptionist to give Blake. The note only had two words "GAME ON" it was very suspicious. So we went outside the hospital, jacked a car and we bailed out.
