3| Nail my curfin

We welcomed our first fruit, Billy. He is ten now and then, our second child, Rebecca, but I often call her Becca for short. She is eight and my baby of the house, she's her father's favorite, Isabella. I call her Bella most of the time. She's just five and she takes everyone's attention wherever she goes. Maybe because she's quite chubby.

I have no problem if my husband loves his kids more than he does to me. He has never taken me out for any activities or anything, not even a date. Am just a spare material he carries along whenever there's a family function.

I heard from some tattletales that he's dating a renowned actress in the industry. Anne Marie.

I know her only on TV but I've never met or spoke with her in person before. Well, whatever the case may be. I don't care to know neither do I look like I give a shit bout it. I've played my part already. She'll only end up as the other woman or a mistress, I guess.

The only way she can have my husband in full is when I give her the chance to and that would only happen if I step out of my marriage which I know very well will be the last thing that I'll do.

"What if she gets pregnant for him or maybe have a baby already, would you still remain dumb like you don't give a shit?"

I completely ignore Alyssa who leaned against my desk with both hands placed by her sides on the desk. I pick up a patient's file and began to scan through it. "Do I look like I care, Alyssa?" I lifted my head to her, "He is my husband. Let him do whatever he likes. Besides, men are born to cheat." Right?

Maybe I said it wrongly, Alyssa snapped back at me, "Men are scums, sweetheart." She leaned her arms in front of my desk, giving me the LOOK AT ME, GIRL, expression.

"You obviously know nothing about marriage." Uh-huh, she's still single and searching. "Maybe when you get a lover in your world, you'll understand why am an I-don't-care woman."

She rolled her eyes, letting out a sarcastic laugh. "Heaven knows for sure that there's no way I'll let a man lay his filthy hands on me for one day. Damn, I'll murder him if he tries it."

I laughed. Really? Like seriously? "You gat to be kidding me, Aly. Just wait until you find your missing rib." I continue scanning.

"Missing rib?" She thought out loud, pulling a chair across the desk as she settles down. "Ah, was he your missing rib when you two were joined in forced matrimony?"

I adjusted my glasses, completely ignoring her words again as I focus on the file I was reading. There are so much work to do today Monday.

Most of my shifts usually falls on Mondays. And Mondays are the most busy days of the week. Thank God for John, my husband's chauffeur who picks the kids from school. I'd have also been the one to leave work and bring them back home.

He never gave me a car to drive myself home. Neither did he hire a chauffeur for me. I have to take care of myself otherwise, I'll become old before my time. I managed to buy myself a not too expensive red Renault car that I only manage to go wherever I want to.

"As long as he cares and caters for the kids, I have no problem."

"Really?" My words took Alyssa by surprise. Though, it's not her first time to hear me say that. "Girl, when are you gonna have Leonardo Calloway all for yourself?" She's nearly freaking out. "This guy doesn't give you attention except he wants one thing which is sex. I mean," She let out a crazy chuckle, "Doesn't he gets enough from his whore, Anne Marie?"

I know her type of favorite stars and Anne Marie wasn't one in her list. He said he likes me for one thing, which is my virginity I kept till marriage. "Maybe because I was a virgin?" I shrugged. Alyssa gave me the OH, SO AM THE NO VIRGIN GIRL, HUH expression and I just roll my eyes, sighing. I know she's really not a virgin after the countless breakups in her life.

"You think she'd mind if she's addressed as a whore?" I shook my head, trying to hide my urge of busting out in laughter. I flip over the page. "She's there making her money on screen while we're here, gossiping about her instead of doing our jobs."

"When was the last time you had sex?" Alyssa curiously asked.

I twitched my lips, thinking for a while, "Uh, six months ago?"

"Was that the last time you saw him?"

I close the file and place it on the desk, sighing. "Okay, Alyssa, you're not a therapist."

"You see what am saying?" She slightly slammed her hands against the desk and stood up to give herself the credits. "That fucking coward left you and the kids for six months to lounge at where? Huh? You tell me, if not with his mistress."

"Why are you freaking out!" I massaged my temples, tiredly. "He's my husband not yours, so let it be."

"I bet you better get used to using dildos."

My eyes bugged and head lifted, "Dildos? To do what?"

She groaned, rolling her eyes with hands on her hips, "Don't be a bitch, girl. Leonardo has spoiled you with sex so I believe as he's not around to cheer you up, you'd cheer yourself up with something VIBRATING." She grinned on her last sentence.

Me? Cheer myself up with dildo? She gat to be dreaming or something. My husband is the only one that turns me on. Despite he's a rough fucker, he loves rough sex. It's so unfortunate that am the sex machine whenever he's around.

"He's out of town for business, he'll be back soon."

"Oh please fuck those shitty craps." She mumbled. "Tell me something," She sat on the same chair she abandoned a while ago. "You don't call him unless he does and it doesn't come through your line or phone but from either Billy's, Becca or Bella, true or false?"

Of course she's right. Except I want to nail my curfin, then, I can call his phone but if I don't want to die a quick death, I better abstain from his number. Several times if I have something to tell him, I make it clear through an email to his personal assistant, Francis Joppa or through his bodyguard, Simpson or our maid in the house, Nylah Kyle.

There are things I can't pass through others before it gets to him but want to keep it private, I wait until he gets back then I tell him everything.

"Okay, Mrs Calloway." Alyssa stood up when I didn't answer her question, "I have a patient to attend to and also much more work awaiting me in my cabin. We'll see at lunch."

I shook my head and she left.
