"wow, so nirvana can sing." Lucy said.

"yeah it runs in their family." Becca replied.

"everyone, I'd love to call my brother and his band to lead the praise." nirvana said.

"she must be kidding me." ray said frowning

"that little bitch, why drag us along with her brother." Romeo said.

"I never wanted to come, let's just ignore her" baby suggested.

"but you can see that everyone is anticipating." Callum said.

"dear brother, it's time to do something for the lord. come on, don't be shy." nirvy said from the stage she was standing.

"it is time to have a good show. I haven't had this in a very long time." Callum said.

Ray stood up and said " this girl is really hellbent on making life difficult for me."

"what are we going to sing?" baby asked.

"Don't worry I got your back." Romeo said hitting his chest slightly.

"why do I feel like things would take a different direction." ray said walking towards the stage.

"let's just make things fast" baby added and collected the microphone from nirvana giving her a dirty look.

"everybody praise the Lord." Romeo said.

"hallelujah" the congregation chorused

Romeo started singing and dancing while Ray and baby followed. The congregation started singing and clapping enjoying the vibe until someone shouted "stop".

the congregation booed in dissatisfaction.

"what do you think you are doing in the house of the lord." the pastors wife said.

Romeo rolled his eyes and said "so this is what that little bitch wanted."

"keep quiet" baby scolded.

"Raymond Kay, you did not only run away from home, you also lead people from hell to start singing and dancing like a devil in my church. she said

"I can see that you lack maternal education."she continued.

"if you say something else I'd punch you in the face." Romeo said.

"you can go and punch your mother at home, after all she didn't train you well." she said.

"enough let's get out of here." baby said.

"dear brother do you love the show, I told you we'd meet again." nirvana said.

"you've gone too far" Raymond said in a harsh tone.

"have I?. I didn't realize that." nirvy replied in a sarcastic tone.

"let's just go home" baby said dragging ray as he walked.

"wasn't that too harsh." Lucy asked Becca.

"it wasn't compared to what was waiting for him if she hadn't done that."Becca said

"huh I really don't understand"Lucy said.

"his mom wanted to take him back today after church, so nirvy tried her best to send ray home before the church ends." queen explained.

"ohh, so she knew that the pastor won't sit and watch ray sing." Lucy said.

"yeah, she planned everything in a way that her mom won't suspect her." Becca added.

Raymond's POV

when we got home, I walked lazily to my room, I wished that the ground could swallow me right now, I wanted to sleep but instead I reminisced on my past.

**flashback 10 years old Raymond**

"wow you won again. ray you're the best swimmer. did you reincarnate from the fish clan." people commented as I walked to my locker, I opened it just to find out that my clothes, phone and my bag were nowhere to be found. how do I get to the car, I'm only on my wet underwear. I waited In my locker room trying to borrow a shirt from my team mates but they only had one. they all left giving me a pitiful look. i scratched my head in dismay. I had to go to the car like that but who would have thought that nirvana and her friends will be outside with their camera on. the light flashing like a photo booth. it didn't end there, they posted it on different websites with different captions.

i didn't later go to the final competition. I had to stay at home till the pictures stopped circulating. I had to wear masks everytime I'm going out to avoid being pointed at. Thankfully Romeo and baby do come over to stay with me. baby's mum and my dad tried their best to bring those posts down and everything related to it.

my mother had something to blame me for everytime. she'd always say that I'm a coward, a weakling like me can't take over the family business. she said that I have to see the cruelty of the world. I had to run away from home after the incident 5 years ago. she didn't let me go, she made sure I couldn't go to another school, I had to still attend nirvana high. she made sure I pay more fees every session.

she never attempted to bring me back home but instead made life difficult for me. she's now taking about vacation I'd never go back to that house. although nirvana had always made life difficult for me, she does it for fun and for some reasons only known to her. I still love her though.

I stood up and went to my bathroom. I stood under the shower for a very long time, my head pounding as I went back to lay on my bed. I didn't even bother to change from my bathrobe.
