Chapter 263. THE END

I DIED

But that was not how my story ended.

I knew I was dead, but it's not easy to kill a God of this caliber, so I quickly regenerated what was lost and looked back at the Ender Dragon with an annoyed look.

That wasn't very nice, at least let me finish spe-

Suddenly, my head popped again, but this time, I tried to move to the side to dodge it with no success.

It wasn't that she kept me in place with her space control, but every function of my body suddenly stopped.

Then I realized, she was locking me in time since she knew that I could teleport away if I was held in place with only space control.

I did not even think this was an option!

No wonder she looked so healthy. She didn't heal at all! She just rewinded time so far back that she was now at her peak strength.

This was going to be an impossible fight!

But I had to fight back somehow, otherwise everything would be lost!

So after I healed myself once again, I tried to feel the flow of time but had little success.

So, as my next course of action, I took out my mace and shaped it into a giant key.

Then I put the giant key into an invisible keyhole and turned to the right.

CRACK!

Just like that, half of the Void was broken like shattered glass.

I could see the floating island and the obsidian towers sliced so cleanly that you couldn't see the cut.

This attack consumed a lot of my energy, so I quickly put my mace back in my inventory to regenerate my strength.

But I never took my eyes off the Ender Dragon since I knew this wasn't enough to kill her.

This was the power of the upper gods, and we were similarly resilient.

Just as expected, the cracked space suddenly disappeared like nothing happened, which meant that she used her time powers once again.

But this time, the scale was too big, and I finally managed to grasp how she was doing it.

So when she tried to lock me in time again, I separated myself from the past and teleported into a future position where I would doge the attack.

I heard something exploding, and I saw the body from the past fall into the Void like a stringless puppet.

Since I wasn't part of that past anymore, it wouldn't regenerate, and I was quite surprised that my gamble worked.

I think the Dragon was equally surprised since she was now looking at me with narrowed eyes.

Just as I was about to run away and recharge my battery, she spoke for the first time since I came.

Die

She didn't sound angry or desperate. Instead, It sounded like Ruller was giving a new law full of authority.

And I felt my very body and soul die in an instant.

-----

Suddenly, I woke up once again, but this time filled with the energy of the System, which began to mess up my internal structure, resulting in more destruction.

I don't know what happened, but I could see that even the Dragon was surprised by the fact that I survived.

But as I was quickly placing myself back together, I realized that I was missing something.

I LOST THE MACE!

I couldn't feel the connection anymore. Instead, I was filled with the System energy.

Then I realized I actually died, and the mace worked as a totem to bring me back one last time, like a totem of Undying.

But that means that this was my last life, and I lost my weapon.

I finally managed to stabilize my energies internally when I realized that I had new knowledge in my head.

It was the last will of the System, where it accumulated all the knowledge of its life in one attempt to fight back against the Void.

Now I knew how the System got so powerful, how it created skills and evolved the humans, but most importantly, I knew how it won the fight against the Dragon.

That was the final weapon of the System, one last ray of hope!

And I realized that it wasn't enough.

What I was fighting now, wasn't the Dragon anymore, but the Void.

Her last attack showed how powerful she actually was since she didn't use it in the fight against the System.

I didn't even know if this was her full strength since she still hadn't moved from her island.

I searched through all the knowledge the System had but found nothing.

I searched for a solution in Alexa's database, but there was even less to see.

I got so desperate that I searched for something in myself as a final attempt!

And I found something...there was a solution...but the price was heavy...and I didn't know if I had the right to make it.

I looked at The End dimension and saw how Violet was struggling to keep up with Noah, and the Dragon was preparing for another attack.

I looked at the Nether and saw how it slowly crumbled like the Overworld since it didn't have a God anymore.

And finally, the last world, where the most deaths were happening at the moment, and the one that everyone tried to keep it alive, the Overworld.

I saw the human army fighting against the monster Lords and Merry fighting against the 3 headed dragon.

What was amazing, was the fact that we were actually winning that battle.

Unfortunately, it was all for nothing if I didn't get rid of the Ender Dragon.

I'm sorry everyone. I hope you'll be able to forgive me for this.

The dragon unleashed her attack, which was a huge black hole.

If I didn't stop it, everyone inside the Void besides the dragon would be dead.

So I did.

Using all the energy I got from the mace, I stopped the black hole resulting in a huge explosion that made the Void tremble.

But I wasn't finished.

With the remaining energy, I began my counterattack.

Skill creation.

Suddenly the world stopped, as the skill was formed into the very being of my soul.

Since the skill was made to be complete from the beginning, I used all the energy I had left in my body, and it was slolwy killing me since it had nothing as fuel.

But once I activated it, something incredible happened.

When a human uses his skills, he can bend reality to make small miracles.

When a God uses his skill, all dimension would soon feel its effects.

And I wasn't connected to only one dimension, but 3!

Not only that, but the way my body worked was that I would use the System energy and the Void energy to get more energy from their clash!

So now I was reaching new heights that were previously thought impossible, and the Dragon realized that as well.

Nooo-

But it was too late, once the skill was activated, it couldn't be stopped.

I began to absorb the energy of the Void in large quantities, making my skill more hungry and powerful.

This resulted in absorbing the eseance of the world, making it lose color, leaving everything gray.

The Void tried to attack me with powerful attacks but it was all absorbed by my skill.

Time, space, and matter were all going towards me, making me stronger than anything that I'd ever seen.

But there was a price for having such great power.

The world turned gray, and it wasn't only the Void that suffered this fate.

The Overworld had the same fate together with the Nether.

As the 3 worlds became grey and lifeless, I was all alone with unlimited power.

I grew so big, that I could see beyond the walls that were too tall for me.

Countless worlds were before my eyes, all with different laws and rules that they strictly followed.

Fortunately, they seemed to have a protective shield that my skill couldn't overcome, so I wasn't about to end the whole existence of life.

It was fascinating to watch and also saddening that I had ended the lives of my own friends to get to see this.

I looked some more around, trying to get inspired and get ready for my next step.

*Crack!

I heard a crack but decided to ignore it for now.

I looked some more and realized who was the creator of the System.

He was so big and powerful that he was the constant source through all the worlds.

He was the God of the Gods, and I was not worthy to even look at him.

But instinctively, I knew that he knew about my situation, and was saddened for me.

At least I wasn't truly alone.

He knew I would end up like this, but I was the only hope for this world.

He gave as much help as the world allowed it to do, and now I was about to do the final step.

I looked back at the nothingness that I left behind and began to collect all the souls that were supposed to leave in the afterlife.

Some came from the animals, others from the humans, and I could even see the souls of the monsters.

I looked at each one of them, and in one touch, their whole life flashed inside my mind.

All their sad moments, all their happy moments, and even the events that changed their entire life.

I looked at Bobby's soul, and saw how much he struggled throughout the school, in his exile, and when he was the ruler of the Kingdome.

I could feel deep love for his wife and daughter, which brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes.

I could even feel his worries for me in the last moments of his life, which was even more crushing for me.

I looked at Froggy, who was beyond grateful to me for making him who he is today, even though he couldn't get this far if he wasn't hard-working.

Even in his last moments, he had hope in me that I would save the day, which crushed my soul even more.

Merry had the soul of a warrior who fought with everything she had until the end, sure that she was saving the next day.

More souls passed through my hands, some were happy memories, some were sad stories, and some of them were bored or scared.

And finally, I arrived at the last soul, and the one that I was the most afraid of.

Violets soul.

The one who believed the most in me, the one who was ready to give up her life for me, and the one who love I didn't deserve.

I'm sorry...I can't return that love.

I quickly put the soul with the others, not wanting to look further.

The souls of all the 3 dimensions were now in my grasp.

*CRack!

Now came the next step.

I looked at the emptiness and used my huge amounts of energy to create a new world.

A world where there won't be a limit on its people, a world were you wouldn't be afraid to live in another dimension.

A world, that would accept even the Ender Dragon as a friend.

Slowly the world from my mind began to take shape.

It wasn't too different from what they knew, but there were some key differences.

There would be an open portal to each dimension that everyone could use.

There would be a system for everyone involved, from Humans and Brutes to even the Endermans.

This System would be different from what their used to, they wouldn't be limited to 4 skills, instead they would be able to make their own skills, and develop then further through hard work.

The more skills and power they gain, the closer they would be to the final goal of my system.

And that was to become the God of this world.

A being so powerful, that it would lead this world towards the others and join the wider ecosystem of this reality.

*CRAck!

After the world was done, it was time to put the souls that were so precious to me.

I first put the animals.

Some were already in this world, while others I created myself for diversity.

Next were the sapient beings, each in their own dimensions and with the System that would introduce them to the new life.

Of course, they would all have their old memories of what happened.

The ones who died in battled would be revived with the ones that I've killed.

The monsters that were smart, were given another chance.

Some of them would be born as an Enderman, while others would be born as humans.

Of course they would not have their memories until they would grow up.

Then, they could choose if they want be peaceful or leave their previous life.

That would be the same fate for the other criminals.

I knew how important it was to have a solid base, so I took those variables our of the equation for the rapid growth of each civilization.

Daniel, would also suffer the same fate as them, since he would ravage the place to be at the top.

He would be born as the son of a humble family, and will learn humility that way.

He would get his memories back when he would be 18, when the world would be far enough to face him in case he would go roughe.

Noah and Solomon would have the same fate.

The Ender Dragon, I decided to give an human form.

If she wants to gain more strength, she would gain back her original body.

To fulfil her greatest wish, she would be a normal girl between the humans until she would grow old enough to unlock the rest of the memories.

Everything would be under the supervision of the new system, and the one whe would help it all, would be a modified Alexa, fulfilling it's final wish as well.

When I arrived at Alex and Steve, I was conflicted.

I could remake them into the System, but both of them didn't want that.

They were very sorry about the disaster they brought to the Overworld as the System, and didn't feel deserving of forgiveness.

I knew I couldn't change their mind without changing their personalities, so I decided to make something just for them.

I created another smaller world, and gave them the power of the command block.

This world was an exact replicate of the Minecraft world, but they would be the first 2 players to shape it as they will.

Slolwy, other souls that want to retire would be sent here, and they would be their caretakers.

So for the rest of their lives, they could attone for their mistakes by building the perfect world.

Finally only one soul remained.

Violet.

I striped her last form and though for a while.

I knew I couldn't be with her, the body and the soul that I have were not strong enough to hold so much power.

What I was now doing, was stoping the time and created everything at once.

Once time resumed, I would be dead.

A cheep price for what I was doing, but I knew that it would sadden a lot of people.

And one of them was Violet.

She would not be able to move on if she has memories of me.

So I had to make the hard decision, of removing everything from her, and get her to the base form.

Not a lot of people know about her, or her relationship with me, so I don't have to modify a lot of memories.

But I was very regretful that I had to make something like this.

After it was done, I sent it into the world, gentle as a feather.

I was ready to start time once, and greet my fate, when suddenly something stopped me.

A though came into my mind, and I knew it wasn't from me.

I look up towards the God of all God's and gave my tanks.

I created another body, and stored it into my soul, then I took a piece of that soul and opend a portal.

Unfortunately my skill could not be stopped anymore as it became part of me.

So even if I made myself a new body on this world, the skill would absorb more and more of this world until it would kill me, or I would kill the world.

But there was a solution, and the answer to my dream.

I could send that body back to my original world, where the skill dosen't have anything to absorb, since it dosen't have any of the elements that I'm made of.

The skill would be stuck, and I could live a normal life, hopefully back with my family.

I opend the portal, send that that piece of soul, and quickly closed it.

Then, I resumed time, and everything was created at once.

*CRACK!

The final crack aperead on my body, and I slowly dissolved into the world that I created.

In the end, I was part of the world that I came to love.

-THE END-
