Chapter 2

"In point of fact, I do not need anything from you. Just be quiet."

"Who is it that we would want to pay a visit to?"

It piques my interest.

"Why do you put such a high priority on... You only need to be aware of the fact that you are fortunate to encounter such a big wig, since everyone in a city wants to curry favor with this individual."

I watched as Kathy Owen applied more makeup to her already fragile face, and the powder around her lips made her seem like a death-themed Barbie doll.

In point of fact, Kathy Owen is sneakily keeping an eye on me.

It was a high-end club that we went to when we visited there. Rich folks were the only ones who were allowed to access this place.

At the lobby's reception counter, "We'd like to introduce ourselves; we're from an art culture firm. There is a scheduled meeting for us."

"Come with me."

The front desk assistant hung up the phone and then stated.

"Your majesty, they have come."

The greeting was delivered politely to a guy wearing a blue suit by the receptionist. After that, Bruce Scott shifted his focus and approached. "There is barely a minute and a half left."

"Yes, yes, yes!"

Kathy Owen said hastily.

As soon as I walked in, I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the guy seated on the couch.

The striking features of the man's face were angular and deep. I was terrified, and I instantly lowered my face as the obsidian eyes swept over me with their keen gaze.

Why does he even bother to be here?

The guy, to whom I handed one hundred bucks, with whom I had no one night stand.

"I'm Kathy Owen, and I would want to say hello to Mr. Matthews. We are appreciative that you have provided us with the chance to discuss our shooting strategy..."

Sean Matthews sat on the couch with his legs crossed and adopted a slouching, uninterested pose. He did not utter a word but instead lifted his wrist and glanced at the time on his watch.

After a moment of uncomfortable silence, Kathy Owen suddenly said, "I'll start now!"

My hands began to shake whenever I stared at that face, but it was most noticeable if he unexpectedly looked at me. I was so startled by the penetrating look that it made me want to turn around and go.

The presentation is still being given by Kathy Owen.

Even though it's been two years, I still can't get the image of the guy out of my head.

I really hope that this guy doesn't remember me!

"Mr. Matthews, may I ask you one final question? "

"Say."

"You are still young yet have an incredible amount of riches. Do you have a girlfirend?" After asking this question, Kathy Owen's nerves were on edge throughout her whole body. Even the feeling of anticipation was there in me.

In point of fact, he has a really handsome face, but his attitude is unsettling and fraught with the possibility of death.

For a guy like him, there is no scarcity of available ladies.

"Yes."

The very low voice was startling.

"Is it a movie star? "

I was experiencing some little anxiety. My hands reached out and grasped the bag.

"It has nothing to do with you."

Even though Kathy Owen couldn't explain her feelings of envy, she was determined not to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime chance.

She addressed him with the following question: "Mr. Matthews, I am wondering whether it would be an honor to have supper with you tonight?"

I was taken aback by that.

"Since I can remember, Mr. Matthews has been someone I've looked up to. You see, I'll be obedient..." Kathy Owen loosened the buttons on her top.

this lady has lost her mind!

I was caught off guard! "

Threw her out of window and never let me see her again."

Sean Matthews is impatient.

Bruce Scott raised his hand. The bodyguard who had been standing behind him approached Kathy Owen.

Kacy Owen screamed as she ran quickly out of the room.

I was taken aback by the unexpected turn of events for a few seconds, and after that I promptly apologized "I am grateful that you have taken this valuable time. Bye!" After hearing it, I didn't have the courage to look, so I just rushed away.

point of view of Bruce Scott

I was able to observe Mr. Matthews' eyes. Unusually, he gazed at the girl thrice during the conversation.

Donna Davis's Pov

I was in the vehicle with Kathy Owen, who was an uninteresting person.

"If you have the audacity to divulge anything, I will not let you go," she said.

"Oh."

Donna Davis's Pov

There is absolutely no concern on my part about Kathy Owen. The only thing on my mind is myself.

If Sean Matthews found out that I had given birth to his children behind his back, he would definitely take them away from me.

no way! I can't let anybody know about this!

But it didn't seem like Sean Matthews recognized me at all.

How is it possible that if he did it, there is absolutely no emotion on the face that I am showing?

So it follows that he does not recognize me!

When I came back to the firm, Kathy Owen informed me that I was no longer employed there. She said that I do not even have the qualifications necessary to be an assistant.

I knew in the bottom of my heart that she was just concerned that I would divulge what had taken place today.

Today has not been a good day for me since I have not had any money .

When I went home, the moment the door opened, I was immediately given a leg hug.

"Mom!"

Five children are running in my direction.

Because Duke ran the quickest, he arrived at my location first, whereas Dylan was the slowest.

I lowered myself to a kneeling position and stared at them "How are you while you're at home?"

"Good!"

I looked up at him with a grin on my face and reaffirmed to myself that I would never reveal to that guy that I had children.

I decide to restart my search for employment. Two days later, completely out of the blue, I received an offer from the leading organization in a city.

It has been stated that the treatment in the top group is likewise quite excellent, despite the fact that it is just a public assistance.

During the interview, the receptionist supervisor who was in charge of the position interviewed me. Sarah James, who was in her forties at the time, was an intelligent and serious lady. "The post is not as simple as you believe it to be. If you get a call every day, you have to be careful not to insult anybody, therefore you need put more mental effort into what you say. You have one month to complete your probationary term."

"Ok."
